I love their white pasta, daal makhni, creamy mushroom tandoori, nachos, masala naan and khade…read moremasala paneer. So I usually do a yake out of mains as they have a long wait for dinner but if i am in mood to enjoy appetizers i will definitely visit them by 6. Now why 3 stars- when generally they don't do reservations. But for a party of 6 or more they do and charge 18% gratuity by default. And in one of our visits they added gratuity and without informing they also asked for tipped. Blind sided us ( 2 families) paid 15 % on top, which was way more than actual bill, as 15 percent was paid on total bill . After going home when we realized, we called them but they refused to do anything. We felt like cheated and misinformed.

Visited with my in laws and my two year old daughter for dinner on Saturday night. Overall we…read moreenjoyed our experience. The space itself is very cool, with lots of interesting artwork on the walls and a big bar at the front where you enter the restaurant. The menu is extensive so we had a bit of a hard time choosing what to try but we ended up with the gol cuppe, hare masalay ki tikka app (basically spiced and fried potato patties), malai chicken tikka, fish masala and avadhi paneer, jeera rice, and dahi (yogurt) with butter naans. I was surprised they don't offer a specific kids menu but perhaps they may add one in the future. The food was tasty and presented nicely - my fave dish was the paneer. There did seem to be a bit of a wait in between dishes but that was ok as we were having a family visit and not in a rush anyway. Our servers were nice but again were a bit slow to check in, etc. Would like to return again to try more dishes including the fusion pasta items as they sound very interesting.

Recently discovered this place on social media and decided to try it out with a group of friends…read more It is a beautifully decorated place with attentive and professional service and some creative and very tasty menu items. For appetizers tried the chilly crispy potatoes, the paneer bao and the vada croissant. The potatoes were good but the bao and vada were excellent. Both were unique fusion takes on traditional dishes. We all really enjoyed them. For mains we had the dal makhani, mango bindi masala, methi malai paneer and vegetable jalfrezi. All were very good. Each has their own unique aspect. The dal was served with a buttery foam, the methi paneer was a a nice change from other more common paneer dishes, the mango added a subtle sweetness to the okra which I never would have imagined together, and the vegetable jalfrezi was a little sweeter and still very tasty. Each of the dishes was spiced uniquely from one another and each tasted very good. Overall, this was an excellent experience. Highly recommend it.

We went out for a celebratory dinner with friends. It was friday night so they were quite busy, but…read morewe didn't end up waiting for more than 20 mins. The seating is good, great for big families and they also have high chairs for kids. Additionally, they also have celebration zone, where you can cut cakes and take aesthetic pictures. Moving on the food, for appetizers we tried Malai cheese burst chaap, Amritsari fish and chilli momos. The cheese burst chaap is well balanced and tastes delicious, it's not spicy but still a flavour bomb. The chilli momos were spicy and well liked but the Amritsari fish is really bland( needs work) We also tried the golden butter chicken, chicken masti biryani and masala dhingri - loved the way they poured the gravy over. Masala dhingri is a mushroom dish with thick gravy with fox nuts, definitely different from what I have tried & much more delicious than any mushrooms I have tried in Toronto. Definitely recommend, their garlic naans are also great. I also loved the Masala Guava spice drink, it's a perfect drink - sweet & spicy combo. They also served us a complimentary cake with roses, which I truly enjoyed. Overall it's a high end place, little pricey but the ambiance makes up for it & they are also open till late. Had a wonderful time, will definitely visit again.

We were visiting in the vicinity from way the other end of the GTA and needed a restaurant open…read moreafter 10 pm on Boxing Day. Yelpers recommended this restaurant; Yelpers were spot on. The place was packed with a minimum half hour wait for a table. The atmosphere was young and lively. The servers were efficient in resetting tables and order taking, as well as friendly, courteous and accommodating of special requests. Water jug on the table was replenished without having to ask; kudos to the servers. A slight misunderstanding resulted in the naan orders being brought out much later than the tandoori orders. *Hint: specify that naan should be brought out with the "appetizers"* It was nice to have pretty serving dishes, and real plates and cutlery instead of paper and plastic. Even the take out containers were of superior, non-leak variety :D. The seating system was efficient, once we were able to determine how and where we were supposed to register for a table. All the food ordered (mostly tandoori, naan and vegetable curry) was excellent, freshly made, generous portions even for sharing, the naan light and tender. But the real stand out was the tandoori fish (salmon?). We would make the long trek back for the tandoori fish alone! This was food quality that belongs in a 5* restaurant where the prices charged far outstrip what we were charged here. One star off for the following: - No sign explaining about registering for a table. - Decor and ambiance could do with an upgrade. I hope they open branches in other parts of the GTA! Without compromising on their food quality.
