Yummy pastries all around! Everything I tried hit the spot. I picked up four macarons (chocolate,…read morevanilla, pistachio, and red velvet) and each one was perfectly balanced with a crisp shell and soft, flavorful center. The cream cheese danish was a standout--generously filled and rich without being overly sweet. The pistachio éclair was absolutely delectable, with a smooth, nutty cream that made it hard to share. I also grabbed the Better Nutter and the TKO (Thomas Keller Oreo), both of which were delicious and worth ordering again. The only item I wasn't too into was the Ohoh, though my niece loved it--so it really just comes down to personal taste. Service was friendly and efficient, even with the steady crowd. The bakery itself is pretty small, so expect a line that may stretch out the door, we waited about 15 minutes just to get inside. Still, definitely worth it for the quality of the pastries!

We stopped in to see what all the buzz was about and left completely obsessed. Don't let the line intimidate you though, it moves surprisingly fast! The shop itself is tiny but mighty, and the moment you walk in, the smell of fresh breads and pastries hits you like a warm hug. Oh, and did we mention it's owned by the legendary Chef Thomas Keller? Yeah, that's reason enough to plant yourself in that line and not look back. I snagged the monkey bread, a blueberry muffin, and a pistachio macaroon, and friends, I have a pro tip: pop those pastries in the microwave for just a few seconds and prepare yourself for pure, warm, buttery greatness. Everything was delicious and perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just right. If you're in Yountville, this stop is non-negotiable!

This place really ruined any chance of any other macaroons standing a chance. They are pricey but it's 100% worth it. Service was quick, it's a tiny place inside but there's outdoor seating. We ordered a dozen for $40 and two coffees..by the time we left, my husband had inhaled about 5 macaroons already. The shell of the macaroon just melts in your mouth. The filling was perfect to each label flavor. We can't wait to visit again.

Although the macarons were delicious, the customer service was far from it. We came maybe 30 minutes before closing, and she was probably irritated that more people came, because it really showed, in her face expression, the tone of her voice, and body language. Who would want that kind of service?? And should we want to return, and be treated like we were an inconvenience. We never felt so unwelcomed. This isn't just my opinion, my whole family felt the same way. It's just so sad because good products was ruined by such terrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend people to come here, specially at the end of the day. You'll just be disappointed by the girl who clearly doesn't want to help you.

My absolute favorite is the Dang Dazy milk chocolate--its velvety texture paired with crunchy almond and hazelnut bits creates the perfect balance. The Earl Grey dark chocolate was also incredibly good. While the richness of the dark chocolate leans slightly dominant, you can still catch those subtle, fragrant notes of Earl Grey in each bite. At around $3 per bonbon, it's definitely on the pricier side--but considering the quality, creativity, and variety of flavors, I think it's completely justified. It's especially heartbreaking to share that this is widely considered one of the best artisan chocolate shops in California, and they're now closing their only store in Yountville due to slow business and rising costs. Losing a place like this feels like losing a true gem. If you're anywhere near Yountville, make the trip and show them some love while you still can.

It wasn't the coffee I was expecting to find like with an espresso machine with a barista there to make it. I didn't end up getting coffee but the chocolate looked delicious! I ended up picking out a selection of chocolate for the small size box and brought it home to share with my boyfriend. All of the flavors we tried were delicious! My least favorite was the vanilla rum. It felt pretty basic and not very vanilla tasting. Earl grey and pistachio were some of our favorites from the box! I love that the box came with a picture map of the chocolates so you knew which one was which. Each one was beautifully painted and it really made the box of chocolate as a gift feel special. This was a great place to stop to pick up a sweet treat!

On this most recent experience, I was invited to attend with 2 friends who are both wine club members and I have to say, I was watching how others were hosted as we were all seated at tables with our parties fairly close to one another and I have to say, the experiences were similar in style, with a bit more TLC for the wine club member experience, but all in all, if I need another membership, this is one I'd consider as I love Sparkling wine and the service was not pretentious or rushed in any way. I felt very comfortable and the vibes were all positive. The selection of flights were great and a reasonable price point. If I had friends who were visiting and wanted a Napa County experience, this is one I would definitely recommend. They have updated their tasting spaces and have so many different areas that even on a busy day, it doesn't feel crowded or overwhelming.

The price tag versus what you get is off - our wine host didnt bother to pour us anything when we sat down (it took around 15 mins to get a glass of wine) - once we did get wine, it was off to the races. The wine is great, but is clear that Chandon is more interested in their club membership than the experience. The second we finished our tasting experience, the entire thing shifted from "taste our wine" to "buy into our wine club". It was a sudden, very jarring change. I have had better experiences with pushy time share sellers than Chandon salespeople. At least with them, I get a gift card, park tickets or a hotel stay. I got. Nothing from Chandon. Chamdon will always be my favorite wine, but for a sparkling experience, I am going to find another winery to visit or go attend a timeshare presentation where at least I get something for sitting through the annoying sales presentation.

What I got for $14 was two slices of very dry bread, a stack of thin turkey slices, two curled pieces of mild cheddar cheese (on a turkey sandwich?), a single limp leaf of lettuce and a packet of yellow mustard (Heinz) and mayo. No tomato, no seasoning, no balance of flavors. Just dry bread, turkey, and cheese that doesn't even belong on this type of sandwich. The wrap didn't list ingredients and the deli counter was closed, so there was no way to ask questions or customize anything. I ended up stuck with a premade option that felt like something from a hospital cafeteria rather than a market in the Napa Valley. The bread could have saved it, but even that was just a bland sweet roll with no texture or character. For $13+ they could at least use a decent bread from one of the many local bakeries. As a local, it's disappointing because visitors assume places in Yountville will reflect the food reputation of the area. Unfortunately this didn't come close. I've seen similar feedback in other reviews for the deli, and after this experience I understand why. The sad part is those reviews date back for years and they have obviously fallen on deaf ears. Vote with your dollars folks. If you're heading up valley and want a good sandwich, you're honestly better off stopping at Genova in Napa on the way or continuing just a few minutes up the road to Oakville Grocery. If you only need a quick bottle of wine this is a place for you. I rarely say this, but this was a "never again" for me.
