One in particular for a year and a 1/2 before I quit thinking to myself why am I going to this license therapist of 30 something years and all he ever does is tell my husband to love your wife he doesn't give us any tools nothing. I could go out to coffee with my girlfriends vent to them for free. Most Counselors are just glorified over paid listeners. Not this amazing intern Arima Williams on her 3rd counseling session she was able to help me to come to a revelation that made me cry!!! Her weekly homework assignments are life changing! I've never had luck finding a therapist that'll want to get to know the root of the problem and where many problems of my life stemmed from. A wounded inner child is a real thing and not many professionals will tend to focus on this when they should. She made me feel very comfortable whenever I became emotional as well. Their billing department can't get their billing codes right. With the office being in network w/ my insurance still left me with a $650 bill. They I brought to their attention and still a $250 bill. And had the nerve to call me w/ a demand to pay call. Called my insurance and once again they are billing my insurance for a type of treatment we never received. Been back and forth with them since Feb. Sent them the insurance invoice that I received from my insurance company saying all of it was paid. They are still harassing me about the out stand balance of $200. Keep in my copay is only $10; which I paid and have the receipts for that too. You're better off find a more organized and professional office. It's a shame because my son actually liked his therapist.

Clearly shes not empathetic to new patients and much too much busy for new appointments for non-patients. I requested her specifically due to the form of therapy she does. But her receptionist, appointment scheduler just turned me away. I was referred to other 'clinical' therapists that i did not care for because they do not do the kind of therapy that Lyndee does. Lyndee's form of therapy from her website states: "Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). Empath. Do any of these words sound familiar to you? Have you ever felt or have been told that you are "too sensitive"? Maybe you have felt empathy for others on such a deep level that is hard to explain. You may feel as if you actually begin to take on the mental and emotional state of another and find yourself dealing with added anxiety, depression." Clinical Psychologist don't connect this way which was why i asked for her. But she's too booked up for new patients. So when professionals are too busy, too booked up WHY would they be open to new patients? She should perhaps CHANGE the notes in her profile that shes NOT open to new patients. She was referred by IEHP, i am only 8 min. away from her office. Her consultations dont take more than 1 hour. Yet Lyndee is too busy to squeeze in an hour of her busy schedule to take a new patient TO HELP. Perhaps her empathic ability doesn't connect to new patients that need her. Very disappointment. Yelpers, I Do Not recommend this therapist. Lyndee is too booked. RESPONSE TO LYNDEE'S RESPONSE: You told your office what to tell me. Your office didn't say what i was told. You told the lady in your office to tell me that a clinical therapist could be referred. You told your office you were too booked. Be more accountable of what you told your office what to say to me. The website gave me the option of in person or video appointment. I picked the in person option and a couple days later I received my confirmation email confirming my in person appointment with the address of the facility. I also received some documentation that I completed prior to the appointment. On the day of my scheduled appointment I arrived 15 minutes early and was informed right at my appt time that there was a confusion and my consultation was over the phone. So unfortunately I did not get to see anyone even though I drove down there. Their location is very pretty and calming though.

My grandfather passed away and was the first family member I had lost in life, and I've always been uncomfortable and confused when dealing with loss, let alone death. The counselors at Central Counseling Services really helped me work through my grief and helped me learn how to process it. Without them, I'm not sure if I would have been ok. I might not have processed it or even accepted it as quickly as I did. I owe a great deal to Central Counseling and the counselors there. I've been using their online counseling services for several months now, and I am so pleased with the quality of therapy I receive. I was scared to even look for counseling/therapy because I don't have health insurance and I know it can be so expensive. I looked at betterhelp (which is unaffordable for your average person) talkspace, growtherapy etc and none of them were offering what I was looking for, which was counseling that is effective and affordable. The best part is I get to do therapy from my couch so I never even have to leave the house because I am chronically late to almost everything. (I'm working on that lol) My therapist, Miss Sukhai Kah, always makes me feel heard and understood. I am incredibly grateful for her and Life Source. I'm learning to communicate and overcome past traumas with her help. I don't always look forward to therapy, because let's be real, therapy is difficult and learning about yourself isn't easy. But even after the toughest sessions with my therapist, I always feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and I can't thank these people enough.
