The 5-day Costa Rica trip I took with Here & Now Travel was AMAZING. Everything was planned out and lined up for us. We did not have to worry about a thing besides the flight! We stayed at the utterly gorgeous Finca 360 (a beautiful home located right on the edge of Juan Castro Blanco National Park). I am telling you this house is magical. The woman who owns this property is incredibly friendly and fun! On the trip we got a swimming hole and a waterfall to ourselves (two separate activities), hiked the rain forest next to the property we stayed at, zip-lined, learned how to make tortillas, toured a coffee plantation, explored the town of Venecia, and ate traditional Costa Rican cuisines. These off-the-grid activities were definitely not something I could have put together on my own. The days were perfectly planned to where I felt like I got to do a lot, but also did not feel rushed and had time to wind down. The owners of Here & Now travel joined us on this trip. Alex and Elise are both very down-to-Earth, organized, and easy to talk to. It was also great to meet and travel with the people in our group! Found this company through Instagram and decided to book their trip to Mexico City. The entire booking process was smooth and easy. The trip itself was a mix of solo travelers and friends/significant others. It was a small group of 10-15 travelers which made for an intimate experience. Alex and Elise the cofounders were on the trip and were welcoming and friendly to all travelers. From the beginning of the trip when we were met at the airport I was so impressed with Alex and Elise's passion and dedication for travel. The hotel we stayed at was clean and comfortable and all of the restaurants were top notch. Amazing trip, far exceeded our expectations! We went to the mother daughter trip to Costa Rica in May of 2025. The hosts were very friendly, professional, on time, organized, and relaxed and fun to be with, very cool vibe. We traveled to Finca 360 and its a trek to get there but WOW! We were met with pina coladas, and a very friendly staff that would cook for us and care for us for the next several days. Stunning views from our room, and almost every room. Very clean. Trip to the coffee farm was fantastic the authentic lunch, made with love from locals, was so delicious and the views incredible, only topped by watching the coffee being roasted and hand dripped pour over style by Aron his mother Irene. The zip lines the next day lots off fun, followed by another amazing lunch. The waterfall hike and swim was breathtaking followed by a relaxing massage and yoga sound bath from the most beautiful yoga studio with panoramic views. Saw sloths, iguana, spider monkeys, tucans, ant eaters, and more. The other mothers and daughters were wonderful to be with , made lots of new friends. Every meal delicious. My experience with Here & Now Travel was incredible! I would recommend this trip to anyone that wants to make the most of their vacation days. I was hesitant to book the Tulum trip because I had been to Tulum before, and I really enjoyed my first trip. But this experience flew miles above! From the moment I landed in Mexico, everything was taken care of: transportation, cozy boutique hotel, activities, breakfast/lunch. I didn't spend hours researching where to go and what to eat; even if I had, I wouldn't have found the incredible off-the-grid activities. This was my first time booking group travel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the number of activities on the itinerary. They also allotted a perfect amount of free time each day to explore or relax. As for the group that I was traveling with, by the first night, it felt like I was traveling with friends. I went on the trip to Bogota, Colombia and it was unforgettable! Here & Now had everything planned out for us and lead us through such an incredible trip. We were guided through the city by a local guide group that Here & Now partnered with and that gave us the opportunity to see the city through the eyes of the locals! They lead us to neighborhoods covered in beautiful murals and artisan markets. They showed us where to get the best food and drinks in the city. So I went on one of the first trips I could with Here & Now Travel and it was amazing!! I went to Costa Rica with 6 other young professionals. All I had to worry about was getting myself to the airport here and then once I was on my plan and landed in Costa Rica, the rest was thought out for us, it was so awesome! We had the chance to do some hiking, try so many amazing foods, and I even conquered my fear of heights by going zip lining in the jungle! The best part of the trip was all the people I got to meet, both local, and as part of our group. The accommodations made me feel like I was a local, and was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed - better than a resort style hotel in my opinion. The trip was planned around a holiday weekend, so I didn't have to use much vacation time at work, which was a huge plus to me. I'm so excited to be able to go on another trip with them soon. I give it 6 out of 5 stars. We just returned from the Costa Rica trip and had an absolute blast down there. The scenery, waterfalls, people we met, and the food was all worth going back for a another trip. The trip itself was very well orchestrated by the founder, Alex Coleman. Here & Now Travel was very transparent with prices too. It wasn't like a cruise where they surprise you with a gut wrenching bill at the end of the trip. Prices included all transportation, hotels, excursions, breakfast & lunch.
