I knew I wanted to have a destination wedding, and if she could keep all of these people organized, she could surely handle my wedding! We set up an initial meet and greet phone call to go over expectations and discuss needs. From there Cari hit the ground running and came back to us with various options for a destination wedding. We looked at multiple countries and resorts in the Caribbean that worked within our budget. We ended up choosing Secrets Akumal in Riviera Maya, Mexico because it seemed to have the best bang for your buck while offering an easier travel arrangement for our guests. Cari handled all of the communications with the resort for the wedding guests and all of the communications with the wedding coordinators to confirm our date. She handled every stressful aspect of planning without a single complaint, and since I know our guests well, it was shocking! True Rockstar! When we flew to Mexico for the wedding, we were greeted by our driver who had chilled champagne waiting for us in the car. When we got the resort, we had more special gifts waiting for us in the room. I felt like a celebrity all due to Cari's personal touches. We ended up having 97 people attend our wedding, Cari managed everyone's hotel reservation and their airport transfers. I never heard about any issues and every went according to plan. I can't imagine what this experience would've been like if I didn't work with Cari. She made everything seem easy and carefree. There comes a time in girl's life when she finally gets to go on her dream trip....some say their…read moredream is go to Paris...Milan...Barcelona...insert cool European city here. Since I have been to 2 out of the 3...my ultimate trip came to me when I saw my first Bollywood film at the age of 15....INDIA!!! I had dreams of falling in love...then of course singing and dancing with the one I love with random strangers. I am going to finally go on my dream trip for New Years Eve....but as citizen of the great USA...I need a visa. I looked at local visa services...they were going to cost like 3 times as much Travisa. I took a leap of faith...filled out all my paperwork...and sent my passport along with everything the consulate needed. My paperwork arrived the next day in Houston. They looked through my paperwork and emailed me every step of the way. The emailed to tell they have recieved it...then to tell that they are taking my paperwork to the consulate. As a US citizen....its was pretty seamless...until they had to ship off my passport with my visa. I sent an airbill with my credit card number on it and Travisa emailed me saying that the Fed Ex guy wouldnt take my package because my credit card number was written on the airbill. I called Fed Ex...they said that was BS...as long as the airbill had some form of payment...whether it was a credit card or Fed Ex account number...it would ship. I was concerned because when they emailed me...they said the airbill was unacceptable. I thought something was wrong with my credit card...but it wasnt. So I had to send a credit card authorization via fax with my info for them to release the package. That was a pain in the ass....then I check my credit card statement...and of course it was Travisa that charged me...not Fed Ex. I guess they used their Fed Ex number versus my credit card. Other than the credit card snafu...Travisa was extremely fast...and everything you ever wanted to know about how to get an Indian visa was on their website...whether you were an Indian national living stateside...a US citizen or other national...they had you covered. I cant really complain...but I know someone would have freaked out about the credit card thing. If anything bad happened...they would be calling you or emailing you. Thank you Travisa for taking care of my Indian visa needs....and they also do visas for other countries too :D. I will use them in the future...just next time...using a Fed Ex account number instead of my credit card.

But I should warn you, do your homework make sure you do everything exactly right. I saw a number of people leave disappointed and empty handed.

Just finished a four day visit to Montreal Canada. Kristen is my go to person. The Fairmont was…read morewonderful and the downtown location couldn't have been better. Close to everything. Absolutely no issues at check in despite it being a very busy weekend. The staff recognized we were virtuoso travelers and made sure we knew what we received with our reservation. Breakfast for two each morning, a $100 food and beverage credit which we used in the bar to warm up after a cold bike tour of the city. Kristen sent us a list of restaurants to try out and the concierge service was wonderful and able to book a couple for us. We will return to Montreal at some point but right now we are anxiously awaiting our South American trip which Kristen also planned. Africa in 2020!
