We did 4 nights in Turks and Caicos, 5 nights in the Bahamas and then another 4 nights in Jamaica. Let me start off by saying traveling during covid is no joke. There are requirements before entering every country and Visas and health forms you need to fill out. Phyllis made it so easy for my husband and I to know exactly what is required and when to start the process of applying for visas and when to take our required covid tests. She not only booked and organized the hotel and excursions but checked up on us frequently to make sure everything was running smoothly and to double check that we started the process to get to the next location. His customer service is beyond 5 stars - trust me on that, and that alone is worth every penny spent. So let me explain why I know it is better to use a travel agent versus doing it yourself. The biggest pro is that if there is any problem, your travel agent can handle the resolution or at least do the fighting for you. Travel agents speak the language so they can get things done quicker and more efficiently than the "non-speaking" do-it-yourselvers. They have access to programs and sites that most of us novices don't even know about. It's as if they are shopping at the Mall of America versus the general public's Dollar General version. My husband and I took our daughter and her husband to NYC for a fun, gourmet focused trip, (daughter is a chef), and it was even better than we'd all expected.
