But I did love that they had a media room to relax and watch TV, have an amazing pool upstairs which was the most crowded of all the places, and different places to just relax. So I was definitely relaxed! We enjoyed the main level pool the most and I loved that they served alcohol! So we had the option for drink or two. There were no kids either! When I first call to get information about the business, I was on travel for work but that did not stop Pamela from telling me everything that I needed to know to make my visit a great experience. She scheduled my visit, told me when she would call me to confirm, and talked about my diet to ensure I was ready to go. When I arrived, I was greeted by Pamela and she toured the space with me. As she concluded I asked more questions about the heated sauna treatment to dissolve my curiosity! I mean that alone made me understand just how dedicated to this work she is! She gifted me an over $70 treatment as a new customer. I was elated. During the sauna treatment, she came to check in on me and supported me with just anything I needed. She let me know that she was preparing my colonic treatment and once I was done, she would walk to the space and get me settled with my next treatment. Once my first treatment was over, Pamela gave me towels and water to make me feel comfortable. ( She even offered me a robe and footies) When we got to the colonic room, she introduced me to the equipment in the room, told me how to work each component and explicitly told me how she would help me through it all. She made me feel so comfortable and kept checking on me. She consistently asked for my comfort level and if there was anything that she could do. When my session was over, Pamela came and told me how to end my session. She walked me through how to clean up and told me do not worry about the machine, she would clean it all up. I was so ashamed but she insisted by saying that "this is what I love to do! I do not mind at all" Her spirit and affect was so naturing and loving I could not think of anyone not walking away from this experience full of happiness and less of weight! Pamela and her assistant are so loving and so customer service driven, kind, attentive and so overly accommodating. I have been back to for services every two weeks and I am dedicated to supporting any business that thrives on always putting customers first! As I began browsing their website, I noticed one service I always wanted to try, the ionic foot detox (scheduled a colonic for another time). An ionic foot detox is said to work by pulling the toxins out of your body through your feet. I texted the number on the website and sent an email requesting an appointment for two and luckily, the business had a dual machine and was able to do a couple's detox. Response was quick and a few hours after my initial contact. The owner is very accommodating and helps to work around your schedule. As you walk in, you're asked to complete paper work, a quick two/three page doc. We were then escorted to the back room, sat on a comfy sofa and advised of the purpose of each device we were being connected to.... a wrist wrap, foot basin w/ sea salt, and warm waist wrap (for comfort). She started the machine and checked on us a few times throughout the process allowing us to relax and enjoy the soft music and aromatherapy smells in the air. During and after the treatment she explained what toxins was being release based on a color chart. Once done, our foots were removed from the tub and placed in a regular soaking basin to clean off followed by the owner drying our feet off and providing a quick oil rub massage. I highly recommend these and the many other ways to detox the body (cleanses/colonics). Our systems are overloaded with high levels of toxicity from the harmful chemicals in our hygiene products, cleaning products, foods we eat, and natural airborne toxins. I was looking forward to surprising her with a nice spa day and was prepared to spend several hundred dollars. Unfortunately, the way I was treated over the phone was unbelievable. The woman I spoke with was rude and abrupt almost from the beginning. She repeatedly reminded me about their 100% cancellation fee. I told her several times that I understood the policy and had absolutely no problem with it, but she just kept bringing it up. She then asked if we were new customers. I told her yes and mentioned the 15% new-client discount advertised on their website. I was literally reading the promotion directly from their website while speaking with her. It clearly explains that the discount applies to one full-priced service and cannot be combined with other offers. Nowhere on that page does it say the discount is only available Tuesday through Thursday. She told me that restriction was listed somewhere else on their website. When I questioned why it wasn't clearly stated with the advertised promotion, she acknowledged that their website needed to be corrected. I simply asked if they would honor what was advertised. She flat-out refused. What bothered me most wasn't even the discount. It was her attitude. She became increasingly rude, kept cutting me off, and acted like I was wasting her time just by asking questions. Then she snapped at me, basically asking, "Are you going to book it or not?" I remained polite and respectful throughout the entire conversation. I never raised my voice, never became disrespectful, and wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. When I finally told her I wasn't comfortable booking an appointment after being treated that way, she abruptly hung up on me. Seriously? That's how you treat someone calling to spend several hundred dollars at your business? I have no idea whether I was speaking with the owner, manager, or receptionist, but whoever it was should not be handling customers that way. I was simply trying to plan something special for my girlfriend's birthday. Instead, I got an unpleasant phone call with someone who seemed more concerned about cancellation fees and collecting money than providing decent customer service. I'm not reviewing their actual spa treatments because we never got that far. I'm reviewing how I was treated as a first-time customer trying to make a reservation. Businesses can have whatever policies they choose, but they should clearly communicate them and treat customers with respect. And if your own website has incorrect promotional information, don't take that frustration out on the customer asking about it. Fountains Day Spa didn't lose my business over a 15% discount. They lost it because of how I was treated. I certainly wouldn't recommend booking a special occasion here based on my experience. I had my first hydrotherapy / colonic with Dr. Vicky yesterday. This was my second colonic experience. The first was with an open colonic system...basically I was put in a room by myself with the colonic machine, I received a block of instruction on how to operate the machine, and everything from that point was up to me. With the open systems you are one with nature, smells and everything, and it can get a bit messy. Although that procedure was helpful I would not recommend it to anyone. My session with Vicky, yesterday, was my first experience with a closed colonic system. Wow....this was wonderful! Everything is contained, no smells, and I didn't feel so alone during the process. Vicky knows her shit...literally. She administered the colonic for about 30-45 minutes. She explained the colon and its operation to me, talked with me about my diet, and ways to improve my constipation problem while she massaged my abdomen along the path of my colon. Additionally, she had plenty informational pictures and broachers for me to take home. I had such a successful first session with Dr Vicky that I went in for a second session today. This is because I deal with severe constipation due to years of pain meds and other meds doctors prescribed to treat the side effects of the pain meds. During this session I found out that I have parasites in my colon which are more than likely the culprit of all my blockage. I saw the parasites with my own eyes leaving my body!! Yes...very gross, but they looked exactly like the parasite pictures on the walls and the ones that I researched online. There were 2 long worms that also came out...thinking about it still gives me the creeps and sorry if that was too much information. Overall, I had a great experience and I'm feeling so much better now that I'm no longer full of shit. I'm doing some follow up sessions with Vicky for the next few weeks to make sure everything is clear. I'm also considering scheduling a colonoscopy with my regular doctor to make sure there isn't a more serious issue going on with me. If anything changes with my follow up sessions I'll be sure to update!
