I had the distinct honor and privilege to patronize Sensory Sentiments Spa, a Black/Family Owned Spa. Located in Gorgeous Prince George's County, and nestled behind the Bowie Town Center in a strip of stores, sits an upscale and absolutely beautiful, brand spanking new spa! This spa oozes class and demands your attention! Believe me, I paid attention! To celebrate my birthday, I was gifted 2 spa services by my lovely in-laws. A facial and 90-minute massage, to be exact. As soon as you step through the doors, your stress just seems to melt away and you're transformed into the ultimate spa experience. I met both the husband and wife that owns this beautiful spa and they were delightfully pleasant and helpful. The aesthetics of this spa are phenomenal! You can tell the design and decor of this spa was intentional and well thought out. Every single room and area was meticulously designed and decorated for the comfort of the customer. Since this is a fairly new spa, the printed menu of all of their services is forthcoming but all services and offerings can be located on their website. I had my facial with Crystal and my massage with Dee-Dee. They both gave recommendations, made suggestions and gave me tips for the future. These two ladies were extremely knowledgeable and clearly take pride in their crafts. My 90-minute massage hit every single kink and coil my body had. Dee-Dee is THE BEST!! I left out feeling like a new woman! I was thoroughly impressed with Sensory Sentiments Spa. Sure, they have a few very minor kinks to work out, but those will be resolved with time. The aesthetics were perfect, the service was remarkable, but most importantly, Gorgeous Prince George's County finally has the upscale spa we deserve. We work hard for our money (even if thousands of us are furloughed at the present time) and often times have to spend it outside of our county. I urge everyone to give this spa a chance the next time you need a well deserved break, a special gift for someone, a girls day out (they offer a private room that would be perfect for a bridal party) or to just try something different. First time here and so glad I came. I was welcomed, asked to take a seat and given paperwork to fill out. Then taken to the locker room but before entering we were reminded that each of us are meant to live in peace--truly a nice reminder. The lounge is very peaceful, offering lemon infused water, variety of teas & snacks. It's quiet and serene. I was totally impressed with the cleanliness and quality of services. I didn't realize until I checked the website, the CEO Mrs Nadine Vatel was the walking around with a beautiful smile, greeting everyone and taking our names. My masseuse was super friendly, offering words of affirmation and making me feel I deserved to be pampering myself. Thank you for bringing this luxury spa to PG County. Arrived on time and had to wait 45 minutes to receive service. Not sure why. She will NOT be going there anymore. It's disgusting that in PG County this is what we get. read more
