It's very disappointing that I have to come back and change my review to one star, but I'm tired of supporting businesses that don't follow through on what they promise. I planned a spa day for my husband's birthday well in advance. The day before his appointment, I received a call informing me that the esthetician who performs the facials was sick, so that portion of his appointment would need to be rescheduled. Although I was annoyed, I chose to make the best of it and keep the remaining services. About an hour later, I received another call from the spa saying his appointment time had to occur at a later time than I booked. After multiple changes, inconvenience, and uncertainty, I decided to cancel the entire appointment. I requested a full refund. I spoke with the manager, and the owner personally called me to apologize and assured me that I would receive a full refund. I appreciated the apology, accepted it, and moved on. Imagine my surprise when I received my credit card statement and discovered that I had been charged the full amount for a spa day that never happened. I immediately contacted the spa and spoke with the manager, but the explanations I received for why the refund had not been processed were unconvincing and frustrating. After everything that happened, I should not have had to chase down money that I was already promised would be refunded. I'm now being told that I will actually receive my full refund. That remains to be seen. The entire experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Customer service isn't just about apologizing, it's about following through! Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be patronizing Sensory Sentiments again. To the owner, manager and staff...DO BETTER! read more

Visited today on a mental health day to try somewhere new and get a massage. Such a great place! I hurt me knee a few weeks back and am on crutches, the staff was attentive and accommodating, ensured I was okay at each step of our visit. We started in the lounge to relax, then they took us in the meditation garden to get mentally relaxed. I got the deep tissue massage, it was Soo great! My massuer even took the time to ask and pay special attention the muscles in my leg. She dug into all the muscles! I left feeling like a new person and my knee feels great. Then taken to the locker room but before entering we were reminded that each of us are meant to live in peace--truly a nice reminder. The lounge is very peaceful, offering lemon infused water, variety of teas & snacks. It's quiet and serene. I was totally impressed with the cleanliness and quality of services. I didn't realize until I checked the website, the CEO Mrs Nadine Vatel was the walking around with a beautiful smile, greeting everyone and taking our names. My masseuse was super friendly, offering words of affirmation and making me feel I deserved to be pampering myself. Thank you for bringing this luxury spa to PG County. Please don't waste your money. Treated my girlfriend for her birthday. They charge far to much money for a 60 minute massage. She said the customer service was horrible. Arrived on time and had to wait 45 minutes to receive service. Not sure why. She will NOT be going there anymore. It's disgusting that in PG County this is what we get. read more
