The Heavens Spa came across my FYP on TikTok. It is very close to me so I just had to visit. I had an appointment for a 90 minute massage on a Friday morning. My muscles have been in pain due to intent strength training for the past two weeks so I was in need of a relaxing full body massage. The location was very easy to find, and there was parking in front of the building. When I arrived. The staff were very friendly when I walk through the door. They checked me in very quickly and showed me to the waiting room. The waiting room was an amazing experience as all the chairs are full body massage chairs, which is a super nice touch. I was able to go ahead and relax my mind as I prepared for my massage. My massage was with Joshua and he was amazing! He asked me very thorough questions about the type of pressure I like and any problem areas I may have. It was the best massage I have had in a very long time. I had a very sore back coming into the massage and the pain was gone when I left. Joshua deserves 10 stars definitely recommend! When my massage was over, I went back to the front and checked out very easily. I definitely will be back here for my massage needs. I hope to try other services as well. 10 out of 10. I'd like to begin by saying that I wholeheartedly recommend The Heavens Spa to anyone seeking a truly luxurious experience. The spa is a shining example of Black excellence. As soon as you step inside and see Jai's welcoming smile and hear her calming voice, you know you're in for something truly special. I've been to the spa a few times over the years, and I've always had wonderful experiences. Last Christmas, I asked my husband for a spa membership, and he gifted me with a year-long membership that included a monthly 90-minute massage (highly recommend!). During my facial, I asked the esthetician, Angela (also wonderful), who she had received massages from. Sebene was on her list. While Angela assured me that all the providers are great and I couldn't go wrong with anyone, I decided to start with Sebene. And I've never looked back. Sebene is appropriately working at a spa with the word Heaven in the name!! Her skills are truly extraordinary. She is a miracle worker! I had bilateral total hip replacement in 2025, and I've been recovering slowly since February of 2025. Often, when I go to my appointments, my body is out of alignment and in some degree of pain. When I leave, I feel like I've left a transformative experience. While Sebene offers traditional massages, I've opted for a treatment focused on realignment and mobility. I'm 51 years old and have had massages throughout my adult life. I can honestly say, I have NEVER experienced massage therapy like this! Sebene is truly gifted! The only thing that tops her hands blessed by God is her calm, warm, intuitive demeanor. She walks in and you want to hug her. You feel safe and secure. I walk in the door, and she greets me with a warm smile, gentle hug, and asks if there is anything I would like her to focus on. And while I give her my concerns, being mindful that I only have 90 minutes, some weeks feel like my entire body is aching. She ensures she addresses all my concerns and intuitively navigates to body parts I have not mentioned but have been struggling with. And when she is done, she always says, "I hope I have made you feel a little better." After every visit, my husband asks how was my massage. Each month, my response is more detailed and glowing. I have told him for months that I owe this angel a review but want to keep her to myself. So after months, I am begrudgingly writing a review that cannot begin to accurately honor this exceptionally talented woman, in hopes it won't backfire and I can still get an appointment . read more

Amazing experience with Josh! I recently had a 60-minute deep tissue massage at Heavens Spa with Josh Audain, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the start, I loved that I could choose my own music--being a jazz fan, that was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for a relaxing experience. Josh was incredibly attentive and skilled. He took the time to focus on my problem areas and consistently checked in to make sure the pressure was just right, which I really appreciated. It's clear he knows exactly what he's doing--every movement felt intentional and effective. Not only did he work out the tension, but he also gave helpful recommendations for maintaining and improving those tight areas afterward. Honestly, part of me hesitated to even write this review because I know his schedule is going to fill up fast--but great service deserves to be recognized. I'll definitely be coming back monthly. 5 stars for the stretch therapy 0 stars for the massage PROS: Clean, quiet & comfortable facility. Calm vibe with soft 90s/2000s R&B playing--love that. Bathrooms are beautifully decorated & pristine. Clients are offered red or white wine at check-in (a nice touch, though glasses vs. plastic cups would elevate it). Massage chairs in the Ascension Room are amazing, though some are visibly worn & the digital touchpad on mine was wobbly. They also aren't intuitive--I couldn't figure out some functions. Filtered water machine in the Ascension Room. Skincare products--Epsom salts, masks, aromatherapy oils, lip treatments--available at the front desk. The stretch therapy was incredible. Intense but thorough. Tiara explained everything clearly, encouraged open communication, & I felt so much relief after just 30 minutes. Appreciated the ottoman at the table for belongings. CONS: The walls are very thin. I could hear conversations, laughter, and music coming from the hallway and nearby rooms. When I was called for my service, the staff member's voice was a bit louder than I would expect for a relaxing spa setting. It startled me because it was a dark and otherwise quiet room (except for the background music), and I was relaxing with my eyes closed. In the massage room, there was nowhere to put my clothes or purse. I had to hang my purse, clothes, and underwear on the back of the door... On full display. Didn't like that. The massage was...weird. One of the weirdest I've ever had in my life. It also seemed like the massage therapist, Mendel, wanted to do what SHE wanted to do instead of what I asked. Before the massage began, she asked me if there were any areas she would like me to focus on. I mentioned that my neck, back and shoulders were tight. She then looked dismayed and said "Well.. I do *full body* massages", emphasizing "full body" as if I was asking for a service that she didn't provide. I responded by informing her that I was simply responding to her question. I was also not prepared to answer so many questions prior to receiving my service... Especially questions that I had already responded to on the pre-appointment survey I completed before booking. I was even more frustrated that even though, during this Q&A I indicated that there were certain areas I didn't want massaged (i.e., my scalp), they were massaged anyway. She also forgot about my aromatherapy add-on. initially it wasn't a big deal, but she asked me about it after I was already undressed. It would have been much more appropriate and comfortable if she had stepped inside and closed the door to ask me about it. But instead she knocked on the door, stood in the open doorway (which faced the hallway, where anyone walking by could have seen me) to ask me about it. Although I was lying face down and covered, I still had to sit up (potentially exposing myself) to smell the different fragrances...all while the door remained wide open. It felt both uncomfortable and unprofessional so I told her to skip the aromatherapy altogether. When she came back in the room, I was laying face down on the table because that's standard practice.. When she returned and saw this, she grumbled, "I thought we were starting face up". Ma'am, if you want me to do something just say so. Just tell me to do so. The passive aggressive grumbling is not necessary. She also didn't have much in terms of bedside manner. Additionally, her touch was not relaxing at all--more jarring than anything. And Her "technique" was strange--I've never experienced anything like it. She would do things like lift my head off the table and just hold it there, lightly rub the tops of my shoulders in circular motions, pinch the base of my skull (for like 30 seconds), under my arms at the base of my rotator cuffs, and periodically mash her hands and fists into my skin--almost like she was pawing at me. She also attempted to massage my belly which was... weird. This was not a prenatal massage and that's also not a common place for someone who is not pregnant to be massaged. It was uncomfortable and weird. She was also not attentive. Even though I stated my problem areas, she completely ignored my neck. She also burned my back with the hot towel. Additionally, as I mentioned, she massaged my scalp even though I indicated that that's not one of the places I was interested in being massaged. "Awkward and uncomfortable" pretty much sums up this massage experience. One of the worst I've ever had. read more

So I love places that are conveniently located for me. Not only conveniently located, but with good service. This place has an amazing ambiance and after my second visit, I decided to subscribe to their monthly membership. I book an hour stretch massage once a month with Victoria Smith. I love that they have a user friendly app available. You can check your last service, service provider, and more. I use this to rebook with ease. Rescheduling is also pretty easy as well. This place gives you options when booking from all the basic add-ons to even allowing you to pick the type of music you want to listen to. It feels curated for you. The only thing I don't love is that there are no regular chairs in the waiting room. They are all massage chairs and if you don't turn them on they are uncomfortable. I feel awkward sitting in them every time. Since I bought the membership, I think it goes without saying I will be back and I highly recommend this place. read more

I really like it here, and have been a few times. Some of the services are amazing! Love the aesthetic and the fact that you can choose R&B or classic music option. Clean, peaceful, relatively priced. Three star rating is based on depending on your service provider or who's at the front desk, it may or may not be a pleasant experience. Ya'll know I'm all about my customer service. While no one has been flat out rude, sometimes they operate borderline. Definitely worth checking out though. read more

Wow! I've found my new addiction. There's something magical about this man's hands. A friend recommended a massage here and I am elated to have treated myself. I love walking in and being embraced by aromas that instantly whisk you into healing and relaxation. My body started to relax as soon as I opened the door. In conversation with Mr. Saunders, the owner and one of many massage therapists at The Heavens Spa, he spoke on his vision of bringing healing to our community especially for our men who are still struggling with stigmas surrounding mental health and self care. Being the only minority and male owned full service spa in the area, he is leading the way by advocating self care for the community. What's different about this full service spa? They offer individual sauna pods as well as Angel V-Steamers so there's no need to share a sauna with other clients. Let me also not forget to mention the vibrating tables during the massage and cleanliness of the spa. In all of my years of receiving massages, I have never been on a vibrating table. This is something that definitely stood out during my visit as well. Book your session online using Vagaro and select from an array of services offered that include add- ons such as back scrubs, cupping, and hot stones during your massage just to name a few. Mr. Saunders has visions to extend more to the community and I'll eagerly await to see what he tempts with me next. The entire experience at this spa was so pleasant and relaxing. The decor and aesthetic are so calming and comfortable. The owner and staff have done a great job creating a soothing experience without any overwhelming aromas. The waiting room has large massage chairs and fresh water. The bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. I've visited the spa twice now in the past month, each time getting a 45-minute massage with Juan. I've been dealing with tight muscles and sciatica pain on my left side for quite some time and Juan was very intentional with his massages. He had no issue using the whole 45 minutes to focus on my problem areas. He also showed me several videos with stretches that I've actively been doing since he showed me and they seem to be effective. I will definitely be back. I love the location. Parking isn't a problem. The spa is clean, quiet and soothing. If you get there early, you can u utilize their antigravity, massage chairs, and get a nice cup of water. The bathrooms are brightly lit and clean. I've been there three times and each masseuse was great. read more
