Terrible service. I bought a few items from this shop. Two Brighton watch bands and one pair of…read moreBrighton sunglasses. I had an issue with my sunglasses and was told at the point of sale that if I had any need of repairs I could bring them in. I did just that in November of 2024. I was told that it would take about a month to get them back. I called in January to check on the status and was told that someone would get back to me and no one did. I was later told that the owner was sick with the flu which is understandable and that someone would get back to me. No one did. I finally got a hold of the owner today after months of trying to get the status and she verbally accosted me stating that she ordered a ring for me that I didn't retrieve which is a BOLD faced LIE. She did not have the ring in stock and I wanted to see it in person BEFORE making the purchase. I also told her that it was fine and that I would try the Brighton store in Delaware. She volunteered to order it and told me that I could make my decision when I visited the store and that I was under no obligation to purchase it. Rightfully so as I did not make the request. Weeks later told me that the ring came in when I called to check on the status of my sunglasses the first time and I told her that I would take a look at it when I came to retrieve my glasses. This owner Kathy was very defensive despite my effort to emphasize with her for the brief 3 weeks that she was sick. She apologized for lying saying that she did in fact not tell me that the repair was a curtesy and she had to pay a total of $40 to send it for repair. While apologizing she simultaneously disrespected me saying "not to mess with her" and abruptly hung up on me while I was simply stating that it had been months and was empathizing with her situation. Of course she didn't hear that as she was screaming at me. She also accused me of being disrespectful in her shop which nothing could be further from the truth as I've had nothing but sweet encounters with her, her family and staff in addition to my husband and autistic child. What a disgrace. You should be ashamed of yourself for the way you treated me unnecessarily and your utter LIES. SPEAKING OVER your customers is not the right way to do business especially when they have legitimate questions and were being empathetic. I do not recommend this vendor and will be taking my business to the Brighton store going forward. I'm sure you're going to reply with UTTER lies but remember I also cannot believe that you JUST mailed the sunglasses out for repair. God sees and knows all things and will repay each one for wrongdoing. AS THEY SAY KARMA is no respecter of persons and you I'm sure won't be exempt. DO NOT BUY HERE!!

I got suckered in and was lasciviously eyeballing a string of miniature salt and pepper shakers with tiny lights when my sister hollered, "FOR GOD'S SAKE!" and just bought them for me so she didn't have to listen to me whine for the next 18 months about how I should've gotten them.

Oh how happy I am with my "new" wedding ring! Well, actually I have been wearing my ring for many…read moreyears, but because of my enlarged knuckle due to osteoarthritis, I had to stop wearing it. I just couldn't get it back on my finger. Alesia saved the day with her artistry and replaced the bottom half of my ring with a gold self-adjusting shank. My ring couldn't be more perfect! It looks beautiful and no longer causes me anxiety and pain when having to take it off. It slides easily over my knuckle and then adjusts to the much smaller base of my finger. I am so grateful to Alesia and her daughter Kaitlyn for their expertise and kindness in resolving my issue. I LOVE my ring and am so happy with it!!! Thank you, Adele Friedrich

BLATANT RACISM. After waiting over 4 weeks of waitingmy boyfriend and I (we are an interracial…read morecouple) went there to pick up a ring where a few small diamonds had fallen out. When we picked it up there was STILL a diamond missing, and the clerk said the technician didn't put it in tightly and it must of fallen out again..... I work in customer service myself, so I kept my cool and politely explained why I was NOT going to pay for the poor quality of the repair or AND pay more than the agreed price even with a diamond missing! Then tech came out she looked at us and immediately became rude and hostile. We decided to pay anyway just to get away from her... We put the credit card on the table to pay and the tech said " I'm tired of this shit!" And SNATCHED the ring out of my hand and told me she was TAKING ALL THE REPAIRED DIAMONDS OUT! (Keep in mind, neither of us yelled once.) We told her she cannot treat customers like this (she just seemed like an angry woman).... But she kept the ring, and CALLED THE POLICE on me and told her coworker she has no problem "cursing out a black girl". Im sure there have been people unhappy with the service, and we doubt she called the cops on customers...I made sure to stay calm the whole time so claiming I was "threatening" would be out the question. When the tech called the police and we heard the operator TELL her to keep the diamonds inside if we are willing to pay. But she still told the police to come. When the cop got there he sized me up, talked to the tech and then came out and told me to i had two choices: sign a statement saying that I decided to DENY PAYMENT or pay in full now..... But WE ALREADY GAVE her the credit card! At that point we didnt want to pay for anything for how horrible we were treated. Long story short... The officer stood there while we patiently waited for the tech to dismantle the ring and take out all of the repaired diamonds. Im sorry to say I was intimidated to speak up further. Especially with what goes on the news. That store should not be allowed to treat customers like this! And for a tech to SNATCH my own ring out and talk about my skin color? How is that relevant?

I immediately thought I would buy one for each of my friends (around 8 people). Then I saw the TokyoMilk display and got really excited; I've only ever tried the Dark collection, so naturally I was curious. During my time in the store, nobody approached me or asked if I needed anything; the cashier did her own thing. I heard my friend ask her a few questions and the answers were all similar: "back there," "no," "yes," "have a look." I'm a bloody tourist. I love spending money on unnecessary things. All you had to do was get up, ask if I needed anything, make a suggestion in regards to what I was looking at, and basically close the sale by nodding and telling me it's a good choice and I can only get it locally. Boom. Done. $$$. Ended up getting ONE mini soap. That's all. It was selfishly for myself because it smelled of bananas and I thought that was pretty novel. I walked the length of the store multiple times looking at bags, charms, etc. Not once did the cashier try to engage with me. She hardly wanted to speak to me when I paid. Oh well. That's bad business. I definitely think there are some unique items in this place, but without someone willing to show me around, there's no point in me digging for hidden gems. I'm on vacation--I don't want to work! Amp up your customer service bit and you'll have more sales. That's all there is to it.
