The cause was misdiagnosed by another company as necessitating clearing the vent from the roof. No company would touch this repair for that reason. But Jason properly diagnosed the problem which was blockages and roots in the sewer line as well as the curbside vent and clean out being blocked. It had actually been completely covered over by dirt at some point over the century. He got me an appointment, asked if it was an emergency if he needed to move an appointment or two around, but luckily it was handled. Holly NJ. I took his call because he was recommended by someone who has done some work for me in the past at the same location. Sean informed me that he was licensed and insured and would be able to work on my plumbing sewer line problem. He informed me to send him a deposit for half payment of $1,500 so he can begin on the work. I initially sent him $500 and then he insisted that he would start the work but needed the remaining balance of $1000 for materials and to pay his workers. I normally would not have sent the remaining balance if not for the fact he came from a recommendation to do the work. After I sent him the money ($1500) I asked to meet with him at the job location at 9am so that we can go over the specifics of the work. He ensured me that he was on his way but after two hours of waiting and no calls or show I called him back and text to no avail. I tried reaching him all day and did not hear back. After several attempts he finally blocked my number, and all calls went directly to voicemail. I tried calling from a different number but no answer as well. Sean is dishonest and he lied to me and stole my money; moreover, he not only did this to me but to the person who referred him.
