I've had no problems in the last two days with the new plug. I called to get a refund from grease monkey and they stated I was gonna have to bring the tire back to them. Why would bring a tire back to them to repair when they can't even put a plug in correctly? Obviously, this could've caused a bad accident. And this is not the way to do business.

Started off great - had my car towed to Greenville Transmission Clinic on a Monday and was told…read morethat the diagnostician was only in on Monday and Wednesday (why the person who can actually "diagnose" an issue is in 2 days a week is beyond me) but I was told that my car was going to be assessed that Wednesday. I didn't hear anything so I called at the end of the day on Wednesday (no one called me) and I was told that there was a back up and my car hadn't gotten on the lift. I then called on Thursday to get an update and was told that someone would get back to me. Someone finally called and said that I would have to pay an additional $100 for "more testing", and that they didn't "think" it was the transmission and was probably the catalytic converter. I agreed and then called back on Friday and was told that it hadn't happened yet and that someone would get back to me. The following Monday, I reached out to see what was happening and was told that the shop had just opened (it had been opened for almost an hour - and it's Monday, the day the 2 work-day-a-week diagnostician was supposed to be there, but whatever) and that someone would get back to me by the end of the day to give me an update. Once again, no update by the end of the day and no call on Tuesday morning. So I ended up going down, found out that the "additional" testing hadn't happened (they obviously didn't charge me for that). I ended up having the car towed somewhere else. The gentleman at the front desk explained that there was a back-up, etc., but the fact that there was almost zero communication is pretty unacceptable when you've had someone's car for a week. Communication is key and I honestly would have been happy with a text notification - the customer shouldn't be the one reaching out constantly for information. BTW, the new shop called me about 20 min after I dropped the car off and will have it ready at 2pm.

They refused to charge me for all the time they spent checking that problem out and all the time spent road testing the truck to determine the problem. Johnie and Bri at the front desk were courteous, insightful, and provided a detailed estimate of the cost. My Subaru Forester front lower control arm needed replacement (100K miles )and the repair was scheduled and performed promptly. The cost was reasonable and slightly lower than AI estimates. Out of the JAS parking lot, my car drove like it did when leaving the dealership 100K miles earlier. Amazing! Other services that I requested based on an assessment from another highly-rated repair shop were not deemed necessary. Let me repeat: Repairs deems necessary by another repair shop were not deemed necessary! I expected the car to be properly repaired after spending the money I did, not to leave the shop with additional problems. I also had an experience with the owner that I found to be racist and completely unacceptable. That alone is enough for me to say I will never do business here again.
