He wasn't friendly at all when we came in and seemed like he was too busy to talk to us but had to. 2. The prices were much higher than Icon Optical. At Icon, she told me my prescription lenses would be around $150-175 and the ray ban frames were around $150 - $200. The person here told me my lenses START at $200 and the frames would be $200-300 and up as well. He literally scoffed when I asked if it would be $150 for the ray bans (when I literally got this number from Icon) and he acted like it was the most ridiculous thing I could say. Peace out, bad businesses. I'll take my money elsewhere. Stay away if you can.

I went on the Black Friday sale and selected a board game to be delivered to a store. As it was a gift, I didn't want the recipient to accidentally open it when it arrived at my house. After hearing nothing on the supposed day of delivery, I called the store. They said it was in transit and would arrive in a couple days. I can only guess this was wishful thinking. 8 days later, I called online customer service. I waited on hold for 40 minutes. This is where the total gong-show begins: It was never even shipped. Supposedly, it's "in stock" online, but they just can't ship it. "Why?" you may ask. Well I suppose that's just one of the many mysteries of life. The cynic in me thinks they boosted their Black Friday sale with things they don't actually have. Which is illegal, by the way. It's against the Consumer Protection Act to have false sales. I tried navigating their website's "Chat With Us" feature to get some help. It's automated and entirely broken. It asks for your order number and your postal code and then just...quits. At least I know Indigo's AI will never contribute to the Skynet future from the Terminator movies. This thing is dumber than rope. It does literally nothing but waste your time. Which I'm realizing is probably the point. As to my experience on the phone with a real human after all that holding time: The CSR online assured me the issue would escalated. She said I would get an email in 2 hours confirming this was being dealt with. 48 hours after that, I still hadn't been contacted. I called back. I waited on hold for an hour and then they closed and I was disconnected. So, I woke up early and called them as soon as they opened on their time. 6 am my time. 20 min of hold. Then I was told that the issue was escalated, but that escalating it means I'll be contacted in 7 to 10 business days!!! Will they ship the thing they supposedly have? God only knows. Will it go out of stock while I wait? Probably. They are still selling it on their online store despite being unable to actually send it to one of their stores. This isn't a new product that is hard to get. It's been around for years. Will I get it before Christmas? Lol. Unlikely. I think what IS likely is that they'll try and refund me and they won't honour their sale. Just a giant waste of my time and energy. It's back up to $70 and I supposedly got 30% off. I can't stress enough that this isn't the fault of the people at this store. This is on Indigo's terrible online portal, pathetic customer service, and seemingly fraudulent business practices.

It shows that one has in this store, actually I can't find it with the help of the server. I don't know what wrong with this. Finally, I just bought another one instead. A little bit disappointed. I was here to meet a dear friend. Our midpoint is Oshawa. I suggested that we meet here. She had a gift card to use. I just love books and gift items. The magazine section is massive. There is so much selection that I barely got through reading half the magazine titles. I love the cookbooks. I want them all! From keto to vegan, there's something for you. I still don't understand the need to wear reading socks. You can buy those here, too. My friend did manage to buy something. We waited in line a bit before she got to pay. All was well. There were plenty of Christmas items on sale. They were at least 30% off the regular price. Although it was busy on a Saturday, I can see it being a good place to unwind and read. It has a built-in Starbucks. Surprisingly, I did not go in. I will next time. Parking is crazy by this bookstore. However, it's not impossible to get a decent parking spot. So she approached one of the persons working and mentioned she hadn't received a call about the order yet but wanted to check in since it was so close to xmas. The person was sharp and unfriendly with her stating we called you 3 times. My wife asked did you leave any messages, he stated we always leave messages. So she was quick to realize that they most likely errored in recording her phone number... not a big deal in and of itself it was about the attitude and cold sharp tones when it didn't have to be such. Unfortunately I've seen this attitude myself when seeing an interaction in the past with an unknown customer. This isn't a case of the customer is always right it's about being friendly and maybe just plain nice. We all have things to improve upon in life please work on this in your store Now and Then Records... thank you have a great holiday!

A newly opened record store in the Oshawa Mall occupying the site of the former HMV store…read more My first impressions are that this is going to be a good store. It focuses on music, both in vinyl and CD formats, with far less gimmicky novelty items that were HMV's downfall. The selection is vast, with many back-catalogue albums as well as newer material and "greatest hits." Prices generally are fair, with many CDs listed as "2-for-$15" or "2-for-$20". I did note that latest releases are a couple of dollars more than you might find elsewhere, and some of the box-sets were rather pricey, but otherwise I'm very happy that this store is now open. Besides music, there are some racks of DVDs/Blu-rays, but overall I get the impression that this will be a good place to come to boost your music collection.
