Best Buy - Entrance. It still looks like a Future Shop.

Last month, I was meeting up with my friend in Oshawa on a Saturday afternoon. I had some time to…read morespare. I spotted this Best Buy and decided to check it out. There was lots of parking in this plaza of box stores. I parked in front of the store and looked at its exterior. It screamed Future Shop. I walked in. I saw a sign to the washrooms. It seemed like a good suggestion. They were on the left when you first walk in, by the appliances. The women's washroom was nicely maintained. No complaints here. I looked at all things Google Pixel. There were Pixel watches, both 1 and 2. There was a sale on fabric bands. The nice thing about these watches is that the bands fit both models. I then looked at Google Pixel phones and accessories. The selection was better than I had expected. I hit the phone accessories section, including car mounts. There was so much to take in. It was enjoyable. The wearable section was cool. I don't know why Garmin watches are so expensive, but it was nice to look at the various models. I'm glad these watches have round faces. The small appliances were cool. I saw everything from an Instant Pot air fryer to tea kettles that heat up in no time. I didn't buy anything. I had a nice time perusing. It's a good store where associates let you browse without aggressively asking if you need anything within the first thirty seconds that you have set foot into the store. I dig it. I'd return when I'm in the area again. (336)

I came to this store to fix the problem with the speaker on my MacBook Air 2018. I have a Best Buy…read morewarranty for 3 years, and also the Apple warranty has not expired yet. But in this store they refused to fix the problem with the speaker and sent me to Apple, which I will have to get about 2 hours. In conclusion, I want to tell you not to buy a warranty on laptops or anything from this store, since you will spend your money on nothing, because they simply refuse to repair your thing.

We bought a 75" Samsung tv about 18 months ago. The Tv started flashing so Samsung said…read moreto contact Holdcroft Electronics for repairs. There was no more warrantee on the tv. I got a call about the repair for the powering. Note when the tv stayed on the picture was beautiful. Going forward I was told the repair cost will be about $300.00 by Mark. The tv was brought back and left in the dinning room until I could get help to remount it on the wall. So a couple of days latter it was put back on the wall. Turned it on and half the tv is really dark. I called Mark at Holdcroft and he told me that sometimes these things happen in transporting the tv from his shop to the customers home. Then he asked for a picture so I sent it. He told me that some lamps are out and I would need to pay him another 300 to get it fixed!!! Any lawyers out there???

Called them about my Samsung HL67A750, said it was a $70 service call just to come out and have a…read morelook ( fine ) Showed up told him i thought it was the vertical/horizontal adjustment. He said he had never seen this before and it couldn't be that. Told me he doesn't know what the problem is but if you replace the light engine that would fix the problem. Well there are 3 major components to the TV and the light eng. is $800 the others around $200... I wasn't going to blow $800 on a 5yr old TV. I was fine with the $70 service call but he charged me $30 labor fee for taking off 3 screws on the top right corner to peer inside. ( took 10 secs ) BS SO i waited a bit, finally got pissed off at the screen. Did some more goggling and found out it was the vertical/horizontal adjustment and just did it my fucking self. ( Perfect Picture ) I would not use them again....
