Title: Suggestions for a More Inviting Greyhound Bus Experience…read more My recent ride on a Greyhound bus left me with mixed impressions. While the service was efficient, improvements could enhance the overall experience and make it feel more luxurious and comforting for passengers. Firstly, the bus's color scheme--primarily gray--was somewhat dull and uninspiring. While I understand the practicality of this choice, a brighter, more inviting color palette could significantly improve the atmosphere. Warm colors or cheerful accents could create a sense of comfort and make the journey feel less monotonous. A more vibrant interior would uplift the mood and resonate with the idea of embarking on an adventure. Additionally, enhancing the seating experience could go a long way in making passengers feel more at home. Comfortable, cushioned seats with more legroom would be a fantastic upgrade. Adding footrests or adjustable headrests could provide extra comfort during long journeys. Another suggestion would be to improve the onboard environment. Soft lighting and calming music could create a more relaxing atmosphere, allowing passengers to unwind or even enjoy a nap. Offering complimentary refreshments, like water or light snacks, would also add a touch of hospitality that many travelers would appreciate. in conclusion, this was my first time, but I was not very impressed. I'm not sure if it was because it was in the pick up stop was at downtown Dallas which was not the cleanest Bus Station.

I had to pay for a hotel and food just to keep up with their changes. Even after arriving an hour early today, the bus still left without me, and there was no Greyhound bus in sight. I like poor people more than I like rich people, but try telling yourself that when you're being aggressively followed by panhandlers around this station, including outside in the dark.

He felt very unsafe due to the other passengers as well. My brother has disabilities and this is how he was treated! Absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. Never use greyhound. Ive been battling them for two weeks now and their solution was a $84 voucher once again was only by email. Never use greyhound

The tray in front of me (and several other seats I noticed) were broken off and the power outlet was torn out. The toilet would not flush, as well. To add insult to injury, our bus broke down about an hour out of town, in the middle of the highway. We were told another bus would get us, then told that that bus was full and they weren't sure what was happening. Everyone was trying to get rideshares, but no one was picking up on the side of the highway to go to Dallas. Finally, the bus driver started it up again and headed to Dallas - we arrived at the first Dallas stop to find some passengers stranded because they missed the connecting bus. I will never trust Greyhound/Flixbus again - it was unsafe (already reported to state authorities) and buses that apparently were not properly maintained for our safety and schedule. BEWARE!

This time they tried to leave 30 people stranded in Johnson Kansas at 3:00am in the morning. The bus driver tried to turn into El patron dos, and ran the bus into the ground. Flix said basically find your own way to Denver. They sent a tow truck, pulled the bus out the ditch and brought the same bus back later. Beware taking Greyhound or Flix. By the way Flix owns Greyhound and Flix is a German company. Don't take either.

The only complaint was all the stops made in between Fort Worth and Houston and the actual length of time for the trip. At least someone else was driving, and I could sleep the time away or read. Don't take if you're looking for a quick way to get anywhere; however, using the service is very economical.

So I IMMEDIATELY call to move the reservation to a late night Sat bus that is cheaper. I am told I have to pay $35. I don't have that currently. There are apparently no exceptions. There are no corporate office to call. There are no offices in the U.S. I explained that my son was barley 18 and it was his first time away from home, and that I couldn't leave him without a safe place alone in Indianapolis all night. I asked my options. I was told I had none. I said you and your company are not concerned about the safety of a young person? He answered"that's right". I was appalled. I asked again. "Greyhound doesn't care about the safety of a kid traveling? He repeated..."that's right". The said they couldn't help. They can't control the computer. That I could cancel if I wanted. But that still would cost the same amount. Absolutely NO concern or customer service. I have never in 40 years been blatantly told that the customer does not matter. Please do not book with Greyhound. And DEFINITELY do not trust them to ensure your children's safe travel. I called immediately after booking. And was shook down for $40 I didn't have at the expense of my son's safety. Shame on this company EDIT- Supervisor Himae took it up on himself to reach out and solve my son's travel issue. I understand that they have policies but he took the time to listen and help me get my son home safe. It's employees like this that make the corporate world still run. Without a personal touch customer service would be gone. I appreciate his help and as long as people like this work for greyhound, they may keep my business

The driver was VERY good, I wasn't nervous or agitated which says a lot since I'm a nervous passenger. I was able to watch movies on my phone and just relax. My trip took us to downtown Dallas' Fuel City for pick up of more passengers, then a straight shot to Conroe, a park and ride, literally under the bridge of I-45. It's a little shocking that there isn't staff or a building, but I made sure my ride would be there so I wasn't scared. I WOULD have been anxious as an older woman if I had to stand under that bridge, which is not near anything within walking distance, as an older woman. I will definitely take advantage of the Mega bus again, my ticket was only around $40 all in, which driving would have cost me that much in gas. My brother however, the one that picked me up, a former Cop, was less than pleased about the lack of safety, so keep that in mind. The internet didn't work for the first hour or so, but eventually when I tried it was available. Weirdly there are no USB outlets, you have to have a standard 110v wall brick to charge your phone, and the outlet on my row was very loose, so I had to prop my bag against it to charge my phone. But again, the bus was clean enough, and I would use the service again, I found it very comfortable.
