The price is better than most big box stores for a marked increase in freshness and quality. they always have "sampling apples" available and usually have cider tastings as well. They only have a few sweet wines the sweetest being the red dolce. It's fruity and sweet. We like it. They have semi sweet and dry as well. They have a porch/patio and inside are some chairs and tables. They also have a loft area. That's where we went. The place was hoping around 1p on a Sunday when we went. A book club was there and several couples. They also had a coffee tasting from a local grower. The smell of fresh coffee was very overwhelming so we had to try. The service is good. Staff is nice. Prices about average. They have some food and you can bring your own. The issue and unfortunately there was one, was that there were thousands of fruit flies invading the place. I guess they crushed grapes for harvest and the fruit flies are a thing that happens. It was very annoying and obnoxious. Wine, food, and you had to be covered because the flies were on every surface. It was rainy so no outdoor escape on the patio. There are ways to control the flies. Use that blue light to attract them or something. If you want people to sit and drink. Make it easy. Flies are not making it easy. We will go back. But I'll call to make sure flies are gone.

If you are looking for something that you forgot to pick up at the grocery store, but don't feel like heading back into that large store I would definitely give Convenient a try! They are also great if you need to pick up some odds and ends for a get together. They sell beer and wine-cooler type drinks, chips and dip and a limited amount of fruits and veggies. Convenient also has a pretty nice deli full of fresh meats and cheeses. You can also pick up some chicken and Jo-Jos to take home for dinner! Not necessarily the healthiest dinner, but a good thing to splurge on once-in-awhile. If you are looking to pick up a few odds and ends or don't feel like running into that big grocery store for just a few things I would give them a try. Their prices are a little bit higher than the prices at those big box grocery stores, but if you are like me it's safer to come into Convenient to grab a few things then try to head into GIant Eagle and end up with a cart of groceries instead of just a few things.

Like cider, dried goods, grains, snacks, chocolates, drinks, novelties & merchandise. We got a gal of cider, lemon snap cookies, chia seeds, & a frozen icee... which was nice since it was like 86F out there & we picked for an hour. They have a wide variety of apples to pick, and tons of trees so no problem finding perfect specimens. Some were out of season but still plenty of ripe ones to get. We got Yellow Delicious, Jonathans, JonaGolds, Granny Smith, Empire & maybe Fugi. It was $20 for a half bushel. Which turned into 45 apples for us but I picked lotsa huge ones so really like 60 normal sized apples. You can just buy bagged apples instead of picking. Also they have Hay rides & play area for weekends plus pumpkins for sale.
