Great place to stop in the fall! I've been craving apple cider donuts and saw they had them on FB! Grabbed 6 donuts, tried one while there, and sampled the Redhead Hard Cider on tap too. Nice treat! The donuts were still hot...very fresh! Cute store, bought a few items. Besides donuts, they also have pies, coffee cakes, cookies. Lots of apples of all varieties. Pumpkins available outside. And they had a selection of salsas, sauces, dressings, Apple cider, etc. Highly recommended! read more

we went to pick honeycrisp apples. They have several rows of them. We were easil able to fill our bags (about 3 dozen apples). They have a store with other varieties of apples, peaches and ciders. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Apple picking Took the family to pick apples. The honey crisp were in season. First we went in and checked out the market. Lots to offer from fruits and vegetables to hard cider. The market even has a bakery area with fresh donuts and pastries. You pay in store and receive a bag to fill with apples. They provide metal wagons for going to the orchard. Kids can ride in them or you can haul the apples around to make it easy. The honey crisp trees were a short walk on the other side of the parking lot. read more

We come from out of state in October. We always make sure we stop. Donuts are home made. They're so good.

Decided to try this place out this year. There was plenty of parking and people directing cars. Unfortunately figuring out the Apple picking process was not clear. We didn't see any signs outside with instructions for Apple picking and we had our own bags, so decided to just go pick. We had been to ones like that before so didn't think anything of it. This is incorrect though - you are supposed to go inside and buy a sized bag to put your apples in. Whoops. Staff was really nice and accommodating once we went to pay and they realized what happened. They have a bakery and a little tap room style thing for hard Apple cider. They're hard cider is pretty good - we got a bottle to go. As far as apples and selection, it seemed like a smaller selection than at Pattersons but didn't have any problem getting apples. Probably prefer Pattersons for the land space and variety of apples but i also live closer to there so that does influence things towards them too. read more

It's that time of the year again! I'm going to sound like a total shill, but we have a lot of fun here and it's 100% authentic! Get here early, because the place gets packed by early afternoon, late morning. On your way in, make sure you check out the pumpkin launcher! One can buy a bag for apples ($16 for a half bushel), and pick your own Jonathans, Red Delicious, Early Fuji, Jonagold, Golden Delicious, and some other delicious type not listed on the map. This is the same place you'll weigh your pumpkin if you pick your own, $.40 a pound. Keep going and you'll find the food trucks, the honey stands, goat petting and feeding, the mini maze (big one is across the street near parking), and all the other children's events. Full list in pictures. Although they are open all year, the festival is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, 1100-1700. No four legged friends allowed in, and be wary of bees. We encountered a lot, but they didn't bother us- they were there for the apples, too! read more

Christmas Trees we're $90+. We ended up leaving that's over our price range for a tree. They were nice looking trees.

Stopped by today to buy a couple bottles of their cider that I have tried at some local establishments. I noticed they had some flavors I hadn't tried. I went and had some samples and decided I would purchase another bottle. The cider is crisp, tasty, not overly sweet like the National brands, and they have creative flavors. There is lot more things to purchase there but my main motivation was the "hard" cider. The people were nice and I really like everything I've had so far. read more

Have been going to this orchard for years. Went this past sunday 10/9/2022 and was suprised by the charge $10.00 for an adult. Even if you just want the pumpkin patch and don't want to do any of there activities . Emailed with know response. I guess they can care less if your unsatisfied. read more

This review is for REDHEAD CIDERHOUSE located at Burnham Orchards: We went to the Redhead Ciderhouse yesterday and it was a lovely little surprise! I had read the reviews and I was excited to go out there and try the hard cider. They had 6 varieties, some sweet and some dry. I prefer dry, so my favorite was the "smooth hoperator." I wouldn't consider it super hoppy, but it was smooth and dry. It would be a hard cider I could drink all day in the summer. My second favorite was the "Black Apple" which seemed to be a cider mixed with a stout style beer. It had an interesting maple finish. I will be back this summer for sure! Make sure if you come out for a visit to arrive before 4pm so you can sit and enjoy, since they do close at 5:30pm normally. But that works fine for me since my preference on weekends is day drinking ;) read more

I'm only 90% sure that this is the peach orchard we went to over the summer ... if I find out that it was a different one I'll move the review. This was such a cool experience. First of all, it's in the middle of NOWHERE about an hour out west. We almost couldn't find the place but had to turn up a narrow driveway and saw the storefront/market. The woman was really nice and explained how to get to the peach trees. Basically we had to go out, turn left, and then turn into the grass at the sign. Yep, into the grass! Good thing I don't have my dinky little '02 Focus anymore or I wouldn't have been able to make it. We picked a boatload of peaches and we were (think Rob Lowe's character from Parks & Rec) LIT-RA-LLY? the only ones there. It was so cool, as if someone just let us pick stuff from their backyard. Which, technically, is exactly what we did. The ONLY complaint I have, and it's not really a big deal because nothing came of it, is that the woman happened to mention that "she hoped that the baby didn't step in any poison ivy." EXCUSE me? This was after we had tromped around brush for about an hour. I was itching like crazy and thought for sure we all had it. But we didn't. I'd go back again! *No cards - cash or check only. read more

I love stopping here each fall to pick up the goods--honeycrisp apples, pumpkins, squash, and cider! Can't forget the apple fritters! My only complaint is this: the bakery is my favorite stop in this little farm shop, but I haaaate seeing bees sitting and hovering atop my beloved pastries. There is a sign posted that states they aren't unsanitary, etc, but it just grosses me out when bugs touch my food (attribute that to fat girl problems). When I was here on Saturday, I picked up some pumpkin and apple butter, along with a pumpkin to carve. Pumpkins are 34 cents per pound. Prices are reasonable, considering most items here are strictly seasonal. It's a staple in my happy fall memories! read more

Get ready for apple picking! Burnham is a cute orchard outside of Cleve with apples, pumpkins, air-filled amusements for children and lots of fair food. The food and some produce were pretty reasonably priced, and you can walk away from the place with a jug of cider, a sizable pumpkin and a belly full of apple doughnuts for $20. It's fun, and fall-y, and nice on an October afternoon. There are drawbacks, of course. You can pick apples, but not pumpkins--those you can select from a row of pre-cut gourds in an open grass field. There are a fair amount of bees, due to it being a working orchard, so use caution if you have allergies. And if the shrieking cries of the pre-adolescent set your teeth on edge, maybe you should come as early as possible. It only gets worse through the day. read more

Love burnhams! Always been a great staple to fall season and there in house made apple cider is to die for

I have been going to Burnham Orchards for, well, ever since I moved to Ohio (years and years ago) My exes mom used to go there when she lived in Berlin Heights and I would tag along. The best peaches, apples, plums and produce! I make the hour drive from Cleveland multiple times each summer in prep for canning season. Always reliable and an experience just like what our parents and grandparents would have had. And their prices are reasonable. Fun to check out the ild firetrucks and farm equipment they have on display outside as well as the toys on display inside. Def worth the trip! read more

I think I went to this orchard expecting more because of visiting numerous other orchards over the years. The apples we bought are crisp and delicious and the kettle corn on site is delicious as well. The downfall was that I found everything to be picked over by the time I visited on a Sunday mid-afternoon. My trip was quick once I realized this orchard is geared more towards young children. I think it would be more worth the trip to come here in the beginning season as opposed to the middle. read more

Berlin Heights is shot through with orchards. My parents' place used to be the old Weaver place, which was a peach orchard. Every time you put a spade in the earth, you are sure to turn up a peach pit. My first job was in the Phillip's cherry orchard, picking cherries. later we had our own apple and peach trees, cherry trees, grapevines, and raspberry bushes. I have never had an apple as fresh and crisp and tasty as the apples I ate in my boyhood in Berlin Heights Ohio. You can still get those apples, never mealy like Washington apples, but you need to come to Berlin Heights, and Burnham's is the best orchard and store for apples and produce treats. read more

A great place to stop in the fall. They have delish baked goods, cider, apples, and you can even get hard cider, which is new for this year I think. On the weekends they have other family events going on but we were there midweek. It's a pretty drive in the country to get there. read more
