It wasn't huge, but they had lots of great vendors including produce, art, baked goods, etc. It's just one small street that was blocked off, but it was bustling and you could tell it's a local favorite. This is a smaller roadside stand that is popular as I waited in line to buy some peaches and muffins. When it was finally my turn to order, I was given a choice of peaches ready to eat that day or peaches that will be prime for eating in 2-3 days. Being from the "want it now" generation, I chose the peaches ready for eating. The pic is what I bought for $6 ($1 per peach). I also selected a mix of Strawberry and Peach muffins - 4 pack container for $14 ($3.50 each). I made a healthy version of Peach, Blueberry, & Raspberry cobbler. The peaches were very good with a nice sweetness and quite juicy. Yay! The muffins were just ok, in my opinion. The ones I brought home were somewhat of a gooey consistency in the center toward the top of the muffin. Just not a fan. Sorry. I would definitely buy peaches from this Orchard again.

We got a gal of cider, lemon snap cookies, chia seeds, & a frozen icee... which was nice since it was like 86F out there & we picked for an hour. They have a wide variety of apples to pick, and tons of trees so no problem finding perfect specimens. Some were out of season but still plenty of ripe ones to get. We got Yellow Delicious, Jonathans, JonaGolds, Granny Smith, Empire & maybe Fugi. It was $20 for a half bushel. Which turned into 45 apples for us but I picked lotsa huge ones so really like 60 normal sized apples. You can just buy bagged apples instead of picking. Also they have Hay rides & play area for weekends plus pumpkins for sale.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I stole a loaf of bread from this store. It's true, folks, no lie…read more I was around 7 or 8 years old when the family went to Cheese Haven to buy some things for the picnic we had planned later that afternoon. I was told to hold onto a loaf of French bread as they looked around. As it were, I quickly got separated from my mother and father and so with bread in hand, I walked out the door looking for them. I found my father outside having a smoke, and when he saw that loaf of bread, well, he wasn't very happy about it, but then again, he didn't make me take it back in either. So, many decades later: * The statute of limitations has passed. * I've made peace with my guilty conscience. * I stopped in again, a few weeks ago What I found was the same fun, kitschy, touristy place that it used to be. It's full of some things you need and some things you'll just want. They've got an impressive deli with all kinds of smoked meats and cheeses. Of course, all that needs to be washed down with some of their eclectic selection of sodas. Looking for something more adult? They have a huge selection of local Ohio beers and wines. If you're into the sweet and salty, there's plenty of candy and snacks. If you like spice, you'll find a surprisingly good selection of hot sauces too. Their prices are tourist haunt reasonable, so the cash register tally shouldn't be much of a surprise. Cheese Haven is a solid locally owned business that promotes Ohio based products with some good local stuff from all over the area. It'll delight and excite the younger ones and give some nostalgic feelings to the older ones. In any case, it's a lot of fun and a delicious stop while you're in the area. For me? Easily, 5 stars.

They only have a few sweet wines the sweetest being the red dolce. It's fruity and sweet. We like it. They have semi sweet and dry as well. They have a porch/patio and inside are some chairs and tables. They also have a loft area. That's where we went. The place was hoping around 1p on a Sunday when we went. A book club was there and several couples. They also had a coffee tasting from a local grower. The smell of fresh coffee was very overwhelming so we had to try. The service is good. Staff is nice. Prices about average. They have some food and you can bring your own. The issue and unfortunately there was one, was that there were thousands of fruit flies invading the place. I guess they crushed grapes for harvest and the fruit flies are a thing that happens. It was very annoying and obnoxious. Wine, food, and you had to be covered because the flies were on every surface. It was rainy so no outdoor escape on the patio. There are ways to control the flies. Use that blue light to attract them or something. If you want people to sit and drink. Make it easy. Flies are not making it easy. We will go back. But I'll call to make sure flies are gone.
