I have known Hennashoppe for a few years now, and I have always loved the shop and its energy. I have bought a few crystals for my home in the past, and recently I stopped in to pick out a birthday dress for my wife. Perfect timing, because they were running a big sale every clothing item for $20. Choosing a dress was a bit of a challenge for me, but I met a lovely lady named Shirley (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly). She was incredibly kind and helped me pick not only a beautiful dress, but also some great jewelry with their buy 3, get 3 free deal. On 08/07/26 I went to Henna Shoppe and they had a great promotion: each item of clothing was only $20 no matter the price. I wasn't originally planning to even get anything but then decided to buy 2 dresses. The ladies working then were very pleasant to shop with. After I got home and laid out the dresses I noticed one of them was slightly damaged (the scrunchy stretchy string part was coming undone). I went back in the next day 08/08/26 wondering if I could exchange because the receipt does not say anything about promotional items being final sale. When I went into the store no one was upfront. There was no sign that any one was taking a break or anything like that. The doors were open and unlocked someone could've came in and taken things with how long the woman took to come help us because I had to call her for help because at the register for so long. I politely said excuse me and hello towards the back area just wanting assistance. I wasn't even upset at the time just confused where the employees are and wanting help with my damaged dress. Finally a woman with purple hair comes out no greeting and a stale face. I'm politely explaining my situation and she flatly says "I can't accept that because it's damaged and we have to try to sell it." Well as a customer I didn't sign up buy a damaged product either. The dress still has tags and everything and I try to politely explain and ask again cause again the receipt doesn't say anything about promotional items and it also says that I actually can return things before 15 days and it's been 1 day. She says nothing after I ask again then proceeds to walks over to a sign that's you can't even see well when praying at the register and flips the sign towards us and it says "Discounted Items are Final Sale" I understood then and immediately just left the store. But I'm never going back there again cause I don't want to ever see that rude woman again. She was so unpleasant that I decided to write this because I wasn't even upset much about the dress it was disappointing but oh well I plan to take it to a tailor. But that lady should not be in charge of customer service she leaves a bad taste in your mouth. And if I ever do decide to purchase clothing from here I will throughly look at the piece before I buy to make sure it's not damaged. I honestly don't know how I missed it when initially buying the dress. read more

They carry incense, candles, deities, sage, small minerals, and gemstones, jewelry, and clothing. There was a special area in the back that was a big sale. Staff were friendly and informative. I immediately felt like I walked onto that store from the movie the Craft. Those sensitive to smells be warned because the incense smell was storing upon entering. Actually negative 5 stars. Worst henna art ever. My teen daughter and her two friends had some henna "designs" put on the backs of their hands. They chose from the $10 selection. I thought my daughter was kidding me when she showed me her design that she paid $10 for. I understand it wasn't an involved piece but are you joking me? Horrible of this business to take advantage of children or anyone else that chooses these options and asking them to pay?! All 3 of the girls tattoos were worse than a kindergartener could do and that's pretty awful for an adult artist and for $10. Unbelievable business. They may wish to remove the farcical art options from their choices of tattoos. We will obviously not recommend this business. read more

We stopped here per my sister's request! She loved it! She walked out with 3 different crystals. They put them in the cutest pink bag! I'm not familiar with typical prices for this kind of thing, but they had some good deals that seemed to make it worth it! My other sister said she got a salt lamp from here too. My 16-year-old niece loves this shop and comes often for the selection of incense (they have some from the wildly popular Wildberry store from my college town in Oxford, Ohio,) and jewelry. They have a wide selection of crystals, gemstones, casual and fine jewelry, incense and burners, sage, clothing and some candles. I wished they had a larger collection of candles. Until I looked at pictures on Yelp, I had no idea they did henna. I thought they just had henna tattoos. It needs to be better advertised in the store. For those that can't get to the store, you can buy henna supplies and a henna party kit online. read more

This use to be best Henna place ever! After Ali left it went downhill. Some of the girls can't even do close to what Ali did. I ended up with a smeared tattoo, it was embarrassing I couldn't wait for it to fade. Ali I miss you a lot and your talent, I'm so sorry that your store isn't doing quality Hennas and this coming from a girl who got a lot. I'm enclosing what you can expect to get now, a very bad poor Henna tattoo. I miss you. I will never come here again. Just not the same. By the way the new girls did none of the awesome artwork I showed. I'm letting people see what they get now. I came into the Henna store a couple of weeks ago and had a very uncomfortable experience! I always come into the henna store when I am at the mall shopping for the grandkids. I just love the style and comfort of the environment! This time, when I came in, I was immediately given a dirty look from the employee. I don't remember her name, but she had red hair. There was another man in there with her, who also never greeted me. How rude! When I started to browse, the employees kept staring at me and even following me around. I felt so uncomfortable and intruded on. The red-headed girl would not stop glaring at my purse. Especially when I went to look at the jewelry, she continued to stare and follow me. I made eye contact with her a few times, but she just pretended to be looking at whatever was in front of her. She must have thought I was stealing!! I am 63 years old, girl! I left without purchasing out of discomfort. I will not be coming back. P.S, I have bought 2 rings from this location previously. They both started to turn a copper-like color within a week! Cheap material for an expensive price. Very disappointed. read more

Ok I don't remember her name but the store manager that helped me yesterday was amazing. I was really thinking about getting Moldavite because I've been feeling a calling towards it but have never used crystals before. She explained I should go small first. Got me citrine, Amethyst, taurine, and rose quarts to start off with as well as a hematite ring! I got an evil eye for me ( and my 4 month old daughter and she was amazing for helping me find my daughter one that fit!) as well so I can start my cleansing and add protection, luck etc. she was absolutely amazing trying to work with my budget but finding me what I needed! Once these do what I need them to do for me I'll definitely be back for the moldavite! I appreciate her looking out for me knowing moldavite can bring extreme change into one's life and giving me what I needed first! read more

The staff was very helpful. I bought a few shawls on sale. The amount of South Asian and Southeast Asian wares is impressive.

Not sure what has happened to this location, but it is terrible now. I have been a customer for years. I was in this past weekend celebrating my moms birthday and was not impressed yet again. We used to be greeted by friendly employees that smiled and clearly were professional. It is obvious that the new staff are immature kids that are more interested in standing around gossiping than helping customers. I've only seen one one familiar face the past few times I have shopped this location and that gal was not working this weekend while I was there. I asked (whom I was told) the store manager a few product questions and her knowledge was not there. I understand if she is new, but telling a customer-"I don't know" is not professional. She was more worried about watching shoplifters than assisting paying customers. My mother and I have spent a lot of money in this location and have never been treated so unwelcomed. My suggestion would be to get a new staff, bring back the old staff or you will run off your existing customers. I was not the only upset customer that day. I am sad to say I will not be spending another dollar in this store and will not be recommending it ever again. For being a spiritual store you have really dropped the ball. read more

Awesome store! I stumbled into this shop one day and now make it a definite stop whenever I am in the area. The shop looks fantastic, the staff are lovely, and the items in the shop are always so much fun to look at. They sell these amazing bath bombs that I adore. I have not gotten any henna done here, but these girls do seem to know what they are doing. I've seen them working on others and it makes me consider getting something small next time I am in. I come to this store quite often and have never had a problem before but this time it was not a good experience. I came in today and I was being followed around the store by one of the employees. He never asked if I needed help he only followed and if I looked he would just act like he was looking at the rocks. I don't appreciate this at all and won't tolerate it. I know he thought I was trying to steal something I was carrying around this small bundle of sage but very openly I wasn't trying to hide or anything either and out of all the people that entered that store not one did he make take a basket like me. I am a Mexican women and I do in fact have a darker complexion while this employee was a white tall male. Walked by this shop in the mall, was intrigued by the free word of the day "love". So we asked and was explained what henna was and that you could try this simple word anywhere on you for free to test. Took just a minute but it dried over several minutes and is still beautifully visible. Lasts days to weeks. Didn't get a chance to go completely into the shop as many clients were being worked on. All beautiful work. And all the artists looked up and acknowledged us at the door willing to help. Will be back :-) read more

I ended up leaving without getting henna because manager Casandra was abrasive, hostile and very confrontational. My husband was with me and he couldn't believe how we were treated.. This seems to be an issue at this store based on previous reviews and my own experiences...Henna isn't cheap and is usually done for a spiritual journey. If that is the experience you are looking for, this isn't the place to go.
