I was recommended to this office by someone I truly trust, as I am not originally from NYC. The office itself is nice, and Corrie is typically friendly. For a basic teeth cleaning, this place is fine. However, if you need any significant dental work, I strongly urge you to reconsider. In 2022, my teeth had shifted due to Invisalign, and I wanted to have my front tooth (tooth #8), which had a crown from a childhood injury, redone so that it aligned properly. I initially considered finding a specialist but decided to go with Dr. Vasserman--something I deeply regret. Trust your intuition--if something feels off, it probably is. When I discussed my needs with Dr. Vasserman in April 2022, he assured me it would take only a few weeks. However, after many emails and back-and-forth conversations, I was informed that it would actually take eight weeks just for the lab in Chicago to begin my case. This was a complete contradiction to what I was initially told. When the crown finally arrived months later, I was shocked. This was supposed to be from the best of the best lab, yet the tooth looked nothing like the rest of my teeth. I don't understand why he didn't use a lab in NYC where I could have been directly involved in the process. It became increasingly clear that he didn't know what he was doing when it came to cosmetic dental work. After much back-and-forth, and clear frustration from Dr. Vasserman, we eventually landed on a tooth that was "acceptable"--but by this point, it was July. Between April and July, my temporary tooth fell out multiple times, I had to go back and forth to the office countless times, and I constantly questioned my decision to have him do the work. The worst part? Any time I called for an update or to get help, it often felt like the office was avoiding me. Calls would go unanswered, and I would have to follow up multiple times just to get basic information. The lack of communication and accountability was infuriating. Fast forward to November 2024--I started experiencing severe pain and discomfort in my front tooth. The pain was unbearable, keeping me up at night and even giving me headaches. I switched dentists due to my previous experience and didn't feel comfortable returning to Dr. Vasserman. Well, turns out my instincts were right--I now have a serious infection in the tooth. The crown wasn't even cemented properly, leaving it loose and unstable. The infection has become so severe that my tooth is now unsalvageable. I have to undergo major surgery, including tooth extraction and bone grafting, because the infection has eroded my bone. Here's the most frustrating part: I have had this tooth redone three times in my life, and never--not once--have I had an issue like this until this last procedure. The fact that I trusted a dentist who clearly lacked the skill and experience for this type of work is devastating. The moral of the story? If something feels off, trust yourself. Go to a specialist. If I had listened to my gut, I wouldn't be dealing with this nightmare now. If you only need a cleaning, this place is fine. But for any serious dental work, I cannot recommend this office and would strongly advise against going here.

The cleanup in Orlando Florida was about 45 alone. This guy only does 15-20 max cleanup! I know have other health complications that could've been avoided if he would've told me all the times I've gone to him. I've been bleeding from my mouth for almost 5 years!!! I've gotten CT scans from head to toe just for the doctors to tell me I'm healthy when the real underlying issues was my gums and teeth. Early stage periodontitis could've been avoided for sure if I were to take care of my mouth more yes, but to have a "professional" dentist that just wants to get paid by insurance or your hard earn money not telling you what's really going on is a disgrace to his field! Find better up to date dental offices unlike this man over here.

I now have a mouth that is healthy and my bite is good and I continue to enjoy minimal problems due to the work he has done and the tooth guard he made for me, being a grinder caused me lots of problems. Now his office and practice works for me on a number of levels 1. Great staff that has been with him for years, all professional and lovely to be around making the visits not only stress free but enjoyable. 2. He has a great list of referrals to send you to if you need specialized care or procedures, all his referrals have been top notch from root canals, braces and periodontal work, I have had them all. You have to have a great dentist but they have to have a great list of people for the other work as well. 3. He makes sure that his work is right and he is conscientious about making sure your overall dental health is right and stays right. 4. His work is impeccable to say the least, my teeth look better, fit better and are in better shape than they have been in years, not only his work but his hygienists are all top notch and have taught me much better habits. 5. Best of all Dr. Siegal or John is a really nice person who makes the visit so pleasant along with my evening favorite Deborah the two of them are always keeping me relaxed and happy. They wasted my time, showed zero accountability, and acted like it was somehow my fault for not agreeing to something I was never told about in the first place. If this is how they handle routine cleanings, I wouldn't trust them with anything more serious. They may care more about insurance billing than about actual patient care or informed consent. Avoid this practice unless you enjoy being blindsided and dismissed. NYC has better options--go find one.

This dentist performed nine root canals and a placed nine porcelain fused metal crowns in a patient with autism, the patient went in asking for dental sealant and implants, Pannu recommended 11 root canals and crowns. The doctor also refused to do the implants until his recommended treatment was complete, and after his recommended treatment was completed he abandoned the patient and refused to admit that he had put porcelain fused to metal crowns in the patient even though the patient tried to verify half a dozen times that the right material was used. The patient initially said no to root canals, then Pannu disguise that treatment and recommended nerve treatment with a protective coating. The dentist milk Medicaid for $27,000 fraudulently, and the reason he would not use full ceramic crowns which is what the patient consented to in the end, is because he discriminated against the form of payment which was Medicaid, because he was selling cubic zirconia crowns for $3,000 a tooth. Do not go here, do not take your children here, this man committed intentionally negligent torts putting the patient at risk to line his own pocket while submitting this claim to the government and getting paid after falsifying the x-rays that he sent to the insurance.

He is a true Dentist he encourages consistent healthy tooth hygiene, he holds you accountable to taking care of his great work. I have 2 new crowns on my 2 front teeth a year ago and I get tons of compliments, they are seamless no discoloration they are a perfect match. I trust him with my smile, he is gentle and explains all of his recommendations. He always says You Must Floss, brushing is only step one, he got me back using regular floss. No More floss picks for me. He's great and he even has Saturday appointments, the office is clean and neat right across from the Brooklyn museum.

Dr. Chokshi works with me directly. He is the one doing my check-ups, cleanings, and x-rays. He is thorough, communicates well, and is completely knowledgeable in his field. He has stepped me through what is going on with my teeth and then recommends products for a better result. I will continue to use Dr Chokshi Divakar -- I recommend you do the same. He is honest, skilled, and no-nonsense. Personal attention and not a "factory conveyor belt" office feel to it at all.
