This place is DISGRACEFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL! The office staff of Jenny, Crystal and Rebecca are children working in a dental office. The dentist Linn is ok at best. The office staff is killing that office. Jenny and Crystal are horrible at their jobs. Neither one cares about the patients. Rebecca is new and just lost. I'm very upset! I had an appointment today at 9 a.m. for my deep cleaning and 10 a.m. for my fillings. I showed up 30 minutes early, and once I talked to the secretary about my procedures, I was told that on March 27th, 2024, I would pay a total of $288 for my deep cleaning and fillings. She explained there was a donation I needed to pay on top of the $288, which came out to $300 and something dollars, and I was not told this on March 27th, 2024. On top of that, one of the other secretary stated I would have to come back to get the other half done (my fillings), so I made an appointment with the other girl for 9 a.m. for my deep cleaning and 10 a.m. for my fillings. She stated that they do not do all that at once, but why schedule me to get it done the same day? I was confused, and I had to cancel and call my dental insurance and ask questions because there was too much miscommunication on their part. I'm very disappointed, and now I have to find someone else. I wish they communicated better within their office. If it was going to become a problem, why schedule me at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. only to tell me today that you only do half of the procedures, and I have to come back? Been going there for many years and now new dentists. The last 4 visits I am constantly being upsold on things I don't need. I feel bad for the hygienists as they are good, however the new Dentists is chasing off clients with their upsell scam. BEWARE they will make you feel like you must have extra work done and upsell constantly. Look for another dentist when you can. read more

please read for all Veterans: this dental clinic specifically just is a money grab for Veterans on TRICARE. They just want to do work on your teeth and build the highest amount. I was told that I had over 10 cavities and needed caps and crowns, which is odd because I always had great dental hygiene and have not had a cavity since I was a child. This place wanted to do six cavities caps and crowns all at once which to me did not sound correct. I allowed them to work on two of my teeth and when I questioned the other ones, they gave me the excuse of "We're gonna work on these teeth because we feel you need more room to floss". This is when I knew they were just telling me anything. You do not do extensive work for those reasons. I took it upon myself to go get a second opinion at a different clinic and was told I do not have one cavity and my gums are great condition, just as I felt it was. I do not have one cavity or any recommended care needed according to two other five star dental clinics. I wish that I could sue this place for the work that I allowed them to do, which I obviously did not even need. This is sad that they are taking advantage because they think we don't know what we need in our mouth. Excuses and lying about cavities, root canal's and needing extensive work. People need their license taken at this dental clinic. This is like an episode of American greed. Where they are just making money off of and billing TRICARE. please take note of how they will tell you you need done, and give you a "deep cleaning" and barely even clean your teeth. Dr.Lin it's very good at what she does. I hardly feel the shots when she gave them to me the first time I had a tooth capped Then I had another tooth pulled it hurt somewhat, but that is to be expected. I am getting partials they take a while to get, but I'm looking forward to it. I would recommend Dr. Lin and her staff. They are very kind and nice people and caring too. they also go the extra mile to help you understand the insurance part and my part of payments. My First ever review on yelp. I felt I had share my horrific experience with this purely sales oriented machine . My dental insurance is excellent. Provides me 2x per year Cleanings and covers all preventive care visits. After The efforts of the staff at Reception of trying to add on services (not covered by insurance ) ; and then again by the business office manager in the examination room; and then again by the hygienist; and again by the Dentist. Dr Jody Lin informed me that she would Not permit for the scheduled cleaning ; But Insisted that I and the insurance co pay for a DEEP Cleaning that would cost an additional $1200. This would cost me $600 out of pocket and then they could soak the insurance company for another $600.... For a cleaning! At that moment I informed the staff (Dentist, Hygienist, Biz Mgr) all in the room that I was leaving and would not want any of their services , nor subject myself to any more of their up selling efforts. This one does hurt to leave as I've been with this dentist over 10 years. I called on Friday about an infection I've had since before November 2023, and I've been extremely upset about how it has been handled. A prescription was forgotten to be put in on 4 different occasions by 4 different doctors, starting back in November when they had to redo a root canal. I was calling on Friday wondering if I should be concerned that I can taste the infection in my mouth. I was told a doctor would call back. When I called back hours later to follow up, I was put on hold so Jenny could get an update. Unfortunately, she didn't put me on hold, so I overheard the other girl say, "What's her issue now?". I just wanted to share my "issues" as I will no longer be a patient here. After an infection that doesn't seem to concern them, being charged double on another occasion (which they did refund) and now overhearing this when it's because of their incompetence that I have "issues", I'm done. read more

I moved to Vegas about a year ago, and I am so glad to have discovered Henderson Dental! I've been seeing Dr. Bae, and he is one of the best dentists I've ever had. The staff are friendly and comforting. I get really anxious when visiting the dentist, and basic procedures (eg. cleanings, xrays, etc) can be quite challenging for me. Dr. Bae ensures that the experience will be positive and of quality. Before my first visit, he spent 10 minutes with me to create rapport before heading into the chair, to calm my nerves. Stay away from this business especially Sarah Pham. New graduates from Dental school do not have the knowledge or experience to make a diagnosis. She removed a crown that I had for 3 years and replaced it because she thought the xrays showed decay under the crown. This caused me pain for 2 months where I kept going back and complaining and she seemed lost as to what to do so I went to a very experienced Dentist who I highly recommend. Dr Le at the Comprehensive Dental Group on W Horizon Ridge who told me that my problem was not with the crown and it did not need to be removed but it was the tooth next to it that was cracked. She put a crown on it and I also had a deep cleaning. I had never had a more positive painless experience. My son is 18. He gets his teeth cleaned every 6 months. He brushes his teeth twice a day. He doesn't smoke. He had a few baby cavities when he was 11 that all got treated and have never been an issue since. He had to switch dentists only because he doesn't have insurance now, and his kid dentist would cost $112 and this place is $59 for the first cleaning. They intentionally tried to cause pain on 1 tooth. They lied and said he had some 5s They said his old fillings needed redone, and that he needed a DEEP cleaning. Watch out for these scammers. Don't waste your $59 like we did. Bunch of Used car sales people trying to come up with Christmas bonuses off my.sons mouth. Run from this place. New patient! I was looking for a new dentist since I had a change of insurance and my old dentist doesn't take my insurance. I was also having extreme tooth pain. So I booked an appointment asap. They took X-rays and said it was my wisdom teeth and scheduled me to have them removed Friday 2/9. The night before the surgery they called and cancelled. The specialist had an emergency and my appointment had to be rescheduled. I was told I would get a call the following week with an update. Well the week passed an no update and no reschedule. I called the office and was told the specialist needed to post their schedule and once that was posted they'd call me. It's now been a MONTH and no one has called me with any update and my appointment was never rescheduled. I was also told I would get an email with other dental group offices that could possibly get me scheduled. They lied. I never got that email. read more

I had a crown done that will cost $1600. is because I requested a Full Noble Metal, They said it will cost me $600 to order and have it made to an outside lab. because they only make ceramic crown. So I agreed to it. The crown arrive and received a call to come in. When I came in I found out it was infused metal to ceramic. So I asked the dentist for the Monolithic metal crown. He told they only make this in solid gold. He does not know of Nobel metal crown. He suggested to have one made in house ceramic crown. the crown was poorly made. it has sharp edge not happy on the outcome.. the dentist told me that I was gonna get reimbursed for the lab fee. but they never did. My dentist was unavailable so they sent me here last minute. My tooth chipped off and I needed it fixed before heading out of state the next day. They got me in almost immediately. They were very friendly and courteous about the whole thing. It's a pretty big place and clean for the most part. My daughter liked watching Charlie and the chocolate factory on the tv. The Dentist didn't have to give me any shots to numb my mouth and was able to fix up my tooth in less than 30 minutes. She told me everything she was gonna do before she did it. I'm so happy with my spur of the moment appointment here. I would highly recommend them to others! They also have coffee and water in the waiting room. read more

I am so very impressed with this dentist office. The customer service level is on point! Not sure why they have a mediocre rating on here because this was by far the best dental experience I had. As a new patient anywhere it can be tedious filling out paperwork, getting the insurance straightened out and such. The ladies at the front desk made it so easy and smooth, they all had friendly demeanors. The paperwork is by iPad, but they offer a paper printout too for the less tech savvy. Dr. Shyu was amazing and patient with all my quirky questions. I like how the dentist does the cleaning too, he was very thorough which I appreciate. I'm picky with my cleanings because I want my teeth squeaky clean! And he delivered that. The assistants are thorough and friendly as well, not overly chatty and unfocused on the task at hand like some others I've encountered. The billing is discussed before any procedures are done, but again, I prefer that than to be surprised after. Yes, it does take more time than the usual appointment. For example, my appointment was at 10am and I'm out at 12pm. That was for exam, x ray and regular cleaning. I don't mind that at all, I prefer more focused attention than most medical practices offer nowadays. Just set a little extra time aside and enjoy the ride as much as you can. read more

I had been going to this dentist for years, thought they could be trusted! Every time I go I need root canal, and crown, never mention, just a filling! This time it was two crowns and root canal, and my out of pocket was going to be $1300, in the past I have just went with it. This time however I did not, because in the past there was a mention of one of my front teeth needing a crown, this time no mention of that. And also in the past, I was told they had choice of two crowns, one cheaper, and one expensive, no mention of that either! Also a deep cleaning, which my insurance does not pay for! So...I went to hopefully get my crown re-cemented just as a temp fix until I came back from out of town next week. The dentist told me to go to CVS and do it myself. I'm sure they have dental cement there. Now I have to re-cement my crown every 2-3 days from the CVS temp cement. Been a patient for years. Will never go back. Too corporate now. As of lately the only thing I'm disappointed in is that I am always let in to my appointments 20 minutes late. Also - I've had brackets pop off and I have tried to get emergency appointments in to no avail. It's aggravating wanting to fix these issues as soon as possible to continue with my treatment without issue just to find out there is no possibility of getting an urgent appointment in. Oh, but KENNY at the front desk tells my insurance agent ON THE PHONE that they have "no record" of asking for a copay. What a load of crock! Also, tell me why they demanded a deep cleaning only and refused a regular cleaning for a patient in their 30s with healthy gums (2/3 on their assessment)?! First let me say! I get nervous, just thinking about the dentist. I hate the x-rays, and I hate the exams. But they made me feel as comfortable as they could. They realized I "had" to have something for my future visit to relax me. So I had to get a root canal, and a crown. I was nervous for over a week before I went in. So I took my relaxation pills before I left. By the time I got to the dentist office, I needed more! So I took some more, and they let me get my relaxation on. And they got started. And you know it wasn't as bad as I expected for the root canal. The crown, now that was a different story. And I had no idea, I was going to get a crown. But that was more intense than the root canal. I would recommend Henderson Dental to friends and family. read more

They also revealed to me my on only wisdom tooth that I have which none of my other dental assistants have ever told me that I hardly have any wisdom teeth at 20 (which is awesome). I went to Dr. Lin at Henderson Dental Group several times and each one of my experiences there was exceptional! The office is very new, modern and clean and has the most innovative technology and machines I have ever seen. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make me feel at home. I got a few fillings and crowns done here and even had my teeth bleached! All of these procedures were very long, grueling and nerve-racking, but Dr. Lin was very patient and explained each step thoroughly to me to make sure I felt comfortable with everything. She even played a movie for me to watch during waiting periods right on the dental chair! Going to the dentist is never fun, but Dr. Lin and her staff really make the experience much more pleasant than any other dental office I have ever been to.
