I loved the sleek designs and the dark green accents. We were escorted to the upstairs dining room. It was cozy and quiet and boasted nice views of the Gulf. They have plenty of outside and inside seating options for groups of many sizes. I tried a glass a wine and my companion went with the winter old fashioned. For our entrees I had the pesto penne which was delectable and he had the lasagna which was delicious as well. The portions were perfect. Service was excellent. We wanted for nothing during our visit. I would say this is on the pricier end so we won't be coming regularly but it will be great for special occasions.

We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation and walked into a crowded but well decorated entrance. The hostess was less than super-friendly, she seemed a bit put off that she needed to look up a reservation and check to see if tables were ready. She sat us a a small 2-top at the entrance while she checked on our table. My husband had requested an upstairs outside table when he made the reservation. We waited about 15 minutes before they finally took us upstairs. They did not seat us where he requested, but put us at a very small bistro table against a wall across from the bar. It was fine, but not the ambiance he was hoping for. Food was just ok, my husband is a bit of a foodie so he was not impressed at all and actually disappointed in our meals. Cocktails were good and the Tiramisu for dessert was great. We decided that the next visit might just be for cocktails and dessert only... if we make it back.

I went with chicken and beef. The chicken was my favorite. We complemented our meal with the chips and guac and it was an excellent choice!!! My fiance went with the pork and beef tacos and he loved them. The kids quesadilla was a hit with our young ones. They loved the chips and cheese dip as well. We enjoyed sitting outside on their spacious patio. Next time we may even have to bring the dogs! The server was very friendly and attentive and made our experience that much better. My friend who ordered the shrimp quesadilla picked the shrimp out. My chicken quesadilla was a mush of shredded chicken and bell peppers. I think I found one bite of mozzarella cheese in it. The bill? Well that's interesting and impossible to understand since the prices on the menu don't match the prices on the receipt and all the prices are higher than the menu. When we asked the waitress she said something about rounding up, which didn't make sense since the drink was marked on the menu as 3 dollars and it was 3.12 on the receipt. Yes, a small amount but nonsensical. Our watress was MIA for most of our visit. I don't recommend this place for anything other than a lesson in what not to do when you have prime real estate for a restaurant with plenty of competition a few steps away.
