Excellent Generator Installation Service - Highly Recommend A&A Genpro…read more Since we had a few storms back to back in Houston I decided to shop for a whole house generator. The last 2 storms all generator company's has been busy servicing and selling generators. After getting some quotes I decided on working with A&A Genpro the entire process was great and exceeded my expectations. The installers are very professional and hassle-free. The install team arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable. They explained every step of the installation process, answered all my question. Quality of Work: The installation was done efficiently, with attention to detail. The wiring and setup were neatly done, and they made sure the system integrated seamlessly with my home's power supply. They also took care of any permits and ensured that everything was up to code. The customer service was excellent. Pricing: I found their pricing to be competitive, especially for the quality of service I received. Overall Experience: I'm very happy with my new generator, and I feel much more secure knowing that I won't lose power during an outage. I highly recommend A&A Genpro for anyone looking for a reliable and professional generator installation service.

We were quoted a fair price for a Cummins whole‑house generator, and the installation itself was…read moresmooth and professionally executed. However, several issues arose afterward that raised concerns about the company's approach to responsibility and customer care. A few days after installation, I noticed a strong smell of natural gas on the side of the residence. Upon inspection, the odor was clearly coming from the point where the installers had tied into the natural gas meter. It appeared they had connected to a section of the gas line that showed signs of material fatigue and corrosion, a portion of pipe that was structurally compromised. When I contacted the company, they came out promptly but stated that the failure of the existing line was not their responsibility. When I asked whether verifying the integrity of the line they were tapping into was a reasonable expectation, I was told that assessing the condition of existing infrastructure was "not their job." Approximately six months later, the concrete slab we purchased through them--installed specifically to support the generator--began to settle significantly. The slab had shifted to the point of being visibly tilted and no longer level, indicating inadequate soil preparation or compaction beneath the pad. When I asked if they could reset or relevel the slab, I was told that once a slab is placed, any future settling is not their responsibility. When I asked about their protocol for ensuring the substrate was properly prepared before pouring or placing the slab, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. After our service warranty expired, I called to renew the service plan. I was informed that they would not continue servicing our account because they did not believe they could "make us happy." This was surprising, as our concerns were specific, reasonable, and directly related to workmanship and installation practices. Overall, while the initial installation was smooth and the generator itself functions well, the company's unwillingness to take accountability for issues directly connected to their work--and their decision to discontinue service rather than address those concerns--was disappointing. My experience suggests that prospective customers should be aware of the limitations in their post‑installation support and their stance on responsibility for related infrastructure issues.
