But as a "courtesy" they'd deduct the initial $300 from when they didn't repair it first. After coming to completely rig and destroy my unit they harassed me for money and the unit went out AGAIN a week and a half later and will cost thousands to repair what they rigged together using zipties and leaving loose wires out. He never came back. He tried to blame it on us. As long as you do the research to ensure everything he needs is available he might do a good job. But-- if he needs a piece of equipment to finish the job--do not give him any money until he comes back and finishes the work. There is a chance he will lie and say he will come back, and he won't. Technician came out and determined that blower motor was faulty, and said that his office would write a quote and send it to me. They sent me the quote, which was priced quite high, but not necessarily out-of-bounds for this work. This is a commercial unit with a non-common fan motor, and it's ceiling-mounted so the labor to get it changed out would be difficult. So I approved the quote. After that, they wouldn't give me a repair schedule. No mention of whether they'd be out tomorrow, the next day, the next week, or the next month. Called them 3 times to get this information, they couldn't tell me anything each time. They then claimed that I'd get a call the following morning with the details. No call the next morning. Called them back, now they're ghosting me. Refused to answer the call, went to a voice mail box that wasn't set up. Called again, got a guy's personal cell phone who refused to acknowledge that he's with the company. Finally called enough times with their employees refusing to answer my call that their phone system rolled the call over to the owner. He answered, I proceeded to explain that in no uncertain terms that I was upset with the lack of communication and demanded the repair schedule. He claimed he would get with his field supervisor to figure out what was going on. Never heard back from him or anyone else. What happened here is that this company never wanted the job. They sent me a quote that was priced really high, expecting that I would turn it down. After I actually approved it, then they had no idea what to do and won't own up to their shady practices. Do not ever call this company. They don't know what they're doing, and they don't want to actually fix your A/C.

In a written and signed settlement contract, Skyline agreed to refund our deposit in four payments. Skyline made one payment and miss the next one that was due, thereby notifying the agreement.
