She is the only person I trust with my eyebrows. Maya is incredibly professional, gentle, and precise. Every time she threads my brows, they come out perfectly shaped -- clean, natural, and never over-thinned. She always takes off just the right amount of hair to keep them full while still looking polished. Her facials are equally amazing. She has such a soothing touch, and my skin always feels refreshed, glowing, and deeply clean afterward. I got greeted by Sapana (spelling?) who was working on someone else's eyebrows (good job, btw) and I signed in and sat down. A lady was relaxed & asleep in front of me on one of the booth chairs! Good sign, I guess. lol! After she finished with the young teen, I got a waxed by her and she did a great job! I already forgot if it was painful! She's that good. Not sugar wax but strips. It was very warm so brace yourselves. She did such a good job, she didn't have to tweeze anything. I exfoliated, yesterday, before coming so I guess that's good. Finished in less than 30 min. And I was considering getting my eyelashes done for the first time... the ladies convinced me it was worth it and so I got it done with Aysha (spelling?) and she was pleasant and we carried on great conversation. I am well pleased with how it turned out! Yay! No more mascara! Saves so much time! Highly recommended! Cute spot upstairs from the restaurant.

Because of this, I struggle to draw them darker when I want to appear a lil fancier. I need good lines to guide me. Sabi understands. That woman takes her thread to them like she's spent her life with my brows specifically, and suddenly they're sisters. I could never. She's mentioned tinting, but says I don't necessarily need it because they're nice as they are too. I can respect that. She'll even get rid of all those little hairs around your lip that make makeup application less smooth.

I've also had my hair braided by Michelle. She knows her stuff and has the best technique for braids and twists. She also does full service hair, cut and color. Always call first to check for availability and make your appointment ahead of time as all the stylists are good and get booked quickly. Tip: street parking and in the lot next to salon.
