I used to go to the Hemali's in canton but I moved. Luckily I found that Hemali's had a location in Troy that wasn't too far away. I come here just for eyebrow threading so that's all I can comment on. But everytime I come I only wait 5-10 minutes at most (sometimes there is no wait). My eyebrows are perfect every time. Dropped by the salon one fine evening for a face wax and eyebrow threading. While the salon itself is very good and the lady who took care of me very sweet as a person - this is what my face looks like 2 days later! The prob I believe was that after waxing she started threading portions of my face where hair was left behind. Clearly shouldn't have been done! I did reach out to the business wanting to know how to take care of my skin. The owner responded promptly with an apology and suggestions for a cream that would help. I want to start off by saying I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 10+ years and I have NEVER been hurt this badly by a eyebrow tech. I went to the Hemalis in canton for years but recently moved out to Troy so they suggested this location. Not only did the tech go painfully slow so I could feel every eyebrow hair being ripped out she also cut me badly and drew blood. After a terrible service she then didn't clean my eyebrows and slapped aloe on them which just caused all the loose eyebrow hairs to get Stuck in the gel to my face. This was the absolute worst experience of my life and I will be making the 50 minute drive back to canton Hemalis going forward. read more

Not a place to go to get your nails done. They have cheap $1 nail paint that wont even last an hour and top of that dont even have the tools to do a manicure or pedicure. I made an appointment for mani pedi and it was like 30 mins job for both, obviously coz they dint have the tools. I wont even pay $10 for what was offered but ended up paying their full price. Oh yeah i did not get any nail paint on my hand nails but only toes. She didn't even file them uniformly. The guy at the reception was rude, the staff was very friendly though and mentioned they are more into eyebrows waxing etc and rarely do nails. May be the guy at desk should have mentioned about it while i called to make an appointment. read more

Needed to get my eyebrows/face threaded for a wedding last minute. I walked into Hemali's and was greeted by Rita. She took me to her chair right away and listened to what I wanted. I am always scared to go to new places tor my eyebrows so I showed her a picture to make sure sure she understood. Rita did exactly what I wanted and my eyebrows look great. She was very fast and I left with minimal cuts. Prices are very reasonable and the space is clean. Will definitely be back! read more

Exceptional service and friendly atmosphere. I am so happy we found this wonderful studio and it was completely by chance. I love when that happens! This studio was absolutely spotless and so nice. I was taken to a private room in the back and given a coverup to put on. Since this was my first time getting a facial I asked what they recommended and was told the "glow" was a good one to have. I have to add this was one of the least expensive ones. So no pressure to up sell or anything which I appreciate. My glorious facial lasted a full hour and it was absolute heaven. I was so excited that there was a place that did Eyebrow threading near Royal Oak that didn't charge so much - until I found this place, I'd be trekking to West Bloomfield. This place is super clean and charges $6 for eyebrows. I also got an herbal facial which lasted a full hour which was great for $35. As someone in a previous review commented, there was no upsell when I was trying to decide between the herbal ($35) and glow ($40) which I really appreciated. The aesthetician explained both to me and recommended the herbal because she said the glow was better if you have an event to go to. The facial was very relaxing and my skin felt awesome after, and I was glad that she told me to put my phone on silent before she started.
