Boy are we glad we did! Rick worked with us to find homes suitable for our unusual needs on a rushed schedule and arranged viewings for those we liked. He pointed out possible issues where they were found during walkthroughs as well as offering great advice along the way. Once we settled on a house he was quick to get our offer in with all of our paperwork in order, causing the owners to accept ours over others who were less prepared. Our escrow was complicated for reasons outside our control but Rick stuck with us throughout, always keeping us updated on status of things, preparing needed documents before they were required, arranging necessary inspections and schedules, and prodding our lender to act faster to accommodate our urgent situation. He also kept the sellers calm as we were forced to extend the escrow when we switched lenders midstream. Even the seller's agent mentioned that we had a very good agent when he came by to pick up the For Sale sign in front of our new home! Immediately after she contacted Adult Protective Services to report me for Elderly Abuse of my Mother. This type of retaliation is called malicious prosecution and is very illegal. Adult protective services went to my mother's house and my mother told them that it was a complete lie and then called Nancy herself to ask her why she made up this malicious lie. This type of lie is defamatory and slander. We decided not to prosecute Nancy because i believed she have had a lapse of judgment; however, we now believe she is continuing to spread this lie, defamation and slander to other agencies. No agent should be this malicious towards a client. We notified her broker about the incident, but we are still continuing to have problems with this agent Nancy Ramirez. This is unbecoming of the moral conduct of a agent who holds a realtors license, and she should be disciplined.
