He then checked the sink and immediately knew he had to snake it so he got his tools from his truck and ran the hot water + snake at the same time and ran the entire length all the way to the street just to make sure it all got cleared and voila! It was cleared and when he pulled out it he showed me there was dried up grease clogging up the pipe at the very end which a little bit came back out when he pulled the snake out. Overall my experience was extremely professional and extremely kind. I cannot possibly expect a better service from any company. I am very happy with the service I received!! That was Josh's response when I asked when he would send the air balance report holding up my restaurant inspection. Hiring Delo Air was one of the biggest mistakes I made while preparing to open my restaurant. Appointments were unreliable. Josh initially scheduled a morning visit, then denied agreeing to that time and changed it to the afternoon when I called. On another occasion, he said he would come after a job in another city. We waited all day, but he never showed up, gave us no update, and did not answer our calls. The initial inspection did not seem thorough. I was first told the bearings needed repair and that we would receive the report once the makeup air unit was working. My husband completed that repair right away, but communication remained poor. Three days later, they returned and told us the pulley was also broken. We then waited another 3-4 days for the pulley to be ordered, while the report remained on hold. I repeatedly explained how urgently we needed the report. Instead of receiving clear updates or a reliable timeline, I felt our urgency was being dismissed. I had also texted Josh on Friday to let him know we had completed the repair we discussed. He did not read that update, yet later blamed the delay on our repair decisions and charged approximately $300 for Saturday's trip. I had communicated the repair status in advance, so I felt it was unfair to blame us and charge us when he had missed my message. Josh's attitude throughout the process was dismissive and unprofessional. It felt as though he knew we had limited options and acted like he owned the whole air balance report world. We were paying customers, yet we were expected to wait around, chase him for updates, and rearrange our schedules on his terms. When Josh finally said the report was finished, he told me he would only email it after payment of a Zelle request that included the Saturday trip charge. We finally received the report after repeated follow-ups. Receiving the report did not erase the missed appointments, poor communication, or stress this caused during our restaurant opening process. I would not hire Delo Air again or recommend them to another restaurant owner working toward an inspection deadline.
