We had an incredible experience during the sale of our home because he listened & understood our goals. He went over the home selling process with us, recommended a great painter and next thing you know we were on the market. 1st weekend- 37 showings, and by Tuesday we had 14 offers, three quarters of them over asking price. David researched each offer before presenting to us and explained all the buyer qualifications. We ended up selling our property in less than the usual 45 days. Everything went super smoothly with no hiccups. He is a positive person, has good energy and does the job efficiently. What is not to like about that?

I was not really looking forward to the whole process,…read moresince you hear all the horror stories that come from selling houses, but David made everything so easy! He is very prompt with responding to emails/texts/calls and always made sure that my questions were answered, and it was very much appreciated. He always showed up to meetings on time (if not a little early) and always had a great attitude. I think his recommendations on what to fix (and not fix) before putting the house on the market struck a good balance, as well as the use of staging and good photographer really helped make the house really shine. The house received multiple offers, and we were able to sell it for more than list price. He also had some really good suggestions when negotiating with multiple offers, since I had no idea what I was doing. The entire process was painless and made so much easier by David's experience and preparation. It seemed like he was always one step ahead of the game! I'm very grateful for all of his help, I couldn't have done it without him!

Joseph seemed to be very familiar with the area we were interested in and his reviews were very reassuring. Needless to say Joseph not only found us a home that we all absolutely love but he went over and beyond for us. He answered our endless questions all the time at any time of the day (we had a lot of questions all the time). Never ever did he make us feel obligated to do anything or go into something we weren't 100% sure on which I appreciated the most. There was even a property that he knew we weren't too convinced of and it also needed a lot of work. Joseph was willing to have a contractor come out and meet us at the property so we would know going into the home how much it would cost us to do the upgrades and repairs we wanted. I don't know of very many agents who go the extra step like Joseph does to make sure you are not getting into something you would end up regretting. Joseph was honest and upfront with us the entire time we were home shopping and always on top of things without overwhelming us or making us feel pressured in any way. Many know at times buying a home can be a nightmare but thankfully it was a smooth and reassuring process for us. We not only found a great realtor that we will highly recommend to all we know but we also gained a friend. The Vasquez Family and my mom cannot thank you enough for all you did! We've already started making memories in our beautiful home that we will cherish forever.

She recommended this home on Florinda Street in Pomona to do Joe a favor as they are friends. My husband has multiple sclerosis and has severe mobility issues. We moved from NC to get him better healthcare unaware of the anti black racism in housing in this area. Shortly after moving in,2 months, we were asked to relocate bc the owner wanted to sell the property. They even offered to pay moving expenses. Because we had just experienced a VERY stressful move,we declined. They however chose to have ppl coming in and out to see the property for about a month, which was very rude and inconvenient. We were advised we had to move when the years lease ended. Something we would never have agreed to. We have no help or family and friends here to help us. We recently moved and now they are withholding our deposit and took a 400 cleaning fee from it as well. We never used 2 of the bedrooms or completely unpacked bc we were asked to leave almost immediately. I was advised by Deanna Chavez to stay until this year (it was last June) until we could revisit the situation in May of this year. She chose to then tell us she had a family emergency and could not help us any longer. The undo stress has caused my husband's health to decline rapidly as stress exacerbates Multiple Sclerosis. At this time we have been advised we will not be given the proper prorated amount and that the owner can pay us back our money anytime he chooses within 21 days. Joe is very insincere and only cares about himself. He hides behind Christianity but has chosen to treat a handicapped person and his spouse with the utmost disrespect. He is misogynistic and doesn't respect women. My conversations with him were virtually ignored and I was given one word answers. I am obtaining legal counsel so if anyone knows anything about this situation please respond to this review. Joe and Deanna made this experience unbearable and were very dishonest about the property. Now our deposit is being held hostage and we were charged 400.00 just to have a stove cleaned, that was already clean. My husband is on disability so we need the money badly. We are in our 60's and this situation has severely impacted my mental health. The home had a broken outdoor screen leading into one of the bedrooms so I was constantly afraid of a break in bc it was in my opinion a not so nice street in Pomona also it was dirty and full of spiders & dust when we moved in, and no ventilation in the very hot kitchen. The home across the street is an eyesore as well as the property next door. Anyone who chooses to do business with these individuals please beware! They are NOT honest or kind people. No empathy and zero professionalism. If I could give him zero stars I would!!

My family and I lived in our home for almost 20 years. It was where we raised our kids and enjoyed all that life offered. So when we decided it was time to move it was an emotional time because our house was apart of our lives. Jonathan Perea was one of three realtors we interviewed. His professionalism, personality, industry knowledge and track record of success shined and we knew halfway through the interview he was the one we would trust to help us through the process. As soon as we signed the initial paperwork to contract Jonathan as our realtor he got right to work. He made sure to educate us on the process and explained in full detail every requirement and answered every question we had to ensure we were comfortable and understood the process. Jonathan met every commitment on time and made it seem as though we were his top priority. He is well organized and truly driven to exceed our expectations. Without exception, he put us first or at least it appeared that way. I suppose doing well in business is easy if you are, as he is, driven in equal measure by both quality and efficiency. Jon exceeded all our expectations in terms of service as a real estate professional. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and in my opinion, is the real estate agent you should choose based on these three things: 1) He has an extensive knowledge of the Big Bear real estate market especially as it pertains to short term rental properties. He understands the nature of each of the neighborhoods across Big Bear Lake, Big Bear City and Sugarloaf. Jon is on top of the trends of the market and provides sound guidance on what to expect throughout the process of purchasing a property. 2. Jon is a consummate professional and follows through on his commitments. Whether it's providing answers to your questions, meeting you for appointments or keeping you updated on the status of your purchase, he is both timely and thorough in his words and actions. 3. Most importantly, Jon listens to you as a client. He takes your input and guides you to properties which meet your needs. He does not try to oversell or push you towards properties which are either out of your price range or don't check the boxes of your requirements for a home. This enables both you and him to make the best use of your time when searching for a suitable property. On top of all this, Jon is a genuinely nice person. He is grounded and sincerely cares that you have a satisfactory outcome during the home buying process. I would recommend Jon's services to anyone looking to purchase a home in the Big Bear area.
