My husband remembered Joseph from an open house we had went to almost a year ago and after working briefly with another agent we decided to go ahead and contact Joseph. Joseph seemed to be very familiar with the area we were interested in and his reviews were very reassuring. Needless to say Joseph not only found us a home that we all absolutely love but he went over and beyond for us. He answered our endless questions all the time at any time of the day (we had a lot of questions all the time). Never ever did he make us feel obligated to do anything or go into something we weren't 100% sure on which I appreciated the most. There was even a property that he knew we weren't too convinced of and it also needed a lot of work. Joseph was willing to have a contractor come out and meet us at the property so we would know going into the home how much it would cost us to do the upgrades and repairs we wanted. I don't know of very many agents who go the extra step like Joseph does to make sure you are not getting into something you would end up regretting. Joseph was honest and upfront with us the entire time we were home shopping and always on top of things without overwhelming us or making us feel pressured in any way. Many know at times buying a home can be a nightmare but thankfully it was a smooth and reassuring process for us. We not only found a great realtor that we will highly recommend to all we know but we also gained a friend. The Vasquez Family and my mom cannot thank you enough for all you did! We've already started making memories in our beautiful home that we will cherish forever. read more

I have had and am still having a nightmare experience with this company and Joe Trujillo. My husband and I were looking for a home with a realtor but the name of Deanna Chavez. She recommended this home on Florinda Street in Pomona to do Joe a favor as they are friends. My husband has multiple sclerosis and has severe mobility issues. We moved from NC to get him better healthcare unaware of the anti black racism in housing in this area. Shortly after moving in,2 months, we were asked to relocate bc the owner wanted to sell the property. They even offered to pay moving expenses. Because we had just experienced a VERY stressful move,we declined. They however chose to have ppl coming in and out to see the property for about a month, which was very rude and inconvenient. We were advised we had to move when the years lease ended. Something we would never have agreed to. We have no help or family and friends here to help us. We recently moved and now they are withholding our deposit and took a 400 cleaning fee from it as well. We never used 2 of the bedrooms or completely unpacked bc we were asked to leave almost immediately. I was advised by Deanna Chavez to stay until this year (it was last June) until we could revisit the situation in May of this year. She chose to then tell us she had a family emergency and could not help us any longer. The undo stress has caused my husband's health to decline rapidly as stress exacerbates Multiple Sclerosis. At this time we have been advised we will not be given the proper prorated amount and that the owner can pay us back our money anytime he chooses within 21 days. Joe is very insincere and only cares about himself. He hides behind Christianity but has chosen to treat a handicapped person and his spouse with the utmost disrespect. He is misogynistic and doesn't respect women. My conversations with him were virtually ignored and I was given one word answers. I am obtaining legal counsel so if anyone knows anything about this situation please respond to this review. Joe and Deanna made this experience unbearable and were very dishonest about the property. Now our deposit is being held hostage and we were charged 400.00 just to have a stove cleaned, that was already clean. My husband is on disability so we need the money badly. We are in our 60's and this situation has severely impacted my mental health. The home had a broken outdoor screen leading into one of the bedrooms so I was constantly afraid of a break in bc it was in my opinion a not so nice street in Pomona also it was dirty and full of spiders & dust when we moved in, and no ventilation in the very hot kitchen. The home across the street is an eyesore as well as the property next door. Anyone who chooses to do business with these individuals please beware! They are NOT honest or kind people. No empathy and zero professionalism. If I could give him zero stars I would!! read more

I've experienced Mr. Trujillo's business ethics through selling a property and they were the worse! This man not only has horrible ethics, he's a liar and a blackmailer. I can't believe how anyone would stand to work with him or even hire him as an agent. Not only did he stall from having my house selling for a month, I also lost a month's worth of mortgage payments. And now that my house has to go back on the market, who knows how much more money I'm going to lose in the waiting process plus I also lost my deposit. I will be reporting this issue with Mr. Trujillo to Better Business Bureau. read more

Such a great experience, I wish I could have taken him with me to Seattle. I was extremely nervous in selling my condo mostly because I was leaving the state before the sale would be complete. Joseph made me feel at ease and made everything hassle free. When we first met he was well prepared and had already done his research about my condo and the surrounding area. He already had a great plan in place to sell my condo quickly. I put everything in his hands and let him do his work. Best decision ever. He kept me updated on the progress of the sale and helped move things along since I was out of state. Joseph and his team are great communicators, ethical, and hard working. read more

When we first went with Joseph we were selling our home & within a week we were already in escrow. Since our selling experience was great, we figured our buying would be too. Joseph put us in contact w/ Ana & let me tell you I was not happy w/ her customer service. Everytime we wanted to look at houses there was always an excuse. It felt like we were an inconvenience.. so because of that I originally gave 1 star but after speaking w/Joe he got us in contact w/Gladys & not even a week we are once again in escrow on another property. More affordable & it was EXACTLY what we were going for. Very happy w/ Gladys she's very informative of the whole process, Something we didn't have before. So if you get stuck w/Ana then good luck! read more

It's taken me 4Years to write this review. This man sold my moms property, for us. During the sale my mother was diagnosed with stage four cancer and died. All he cared about was the "kill," making with sale and getting his money. It was a large 5 bedroom, 4 bath, property almost half an acre in the hills of HLP. First, he didn't advocate for me as his client and sided with the buyer. Had my selling price drop I believe 25k, maybe more. Then, I asked for his help to slow down the sale and he refused so I had to take matters into my own hands and contact the escrow company directly, to place a pause on the sale. I had to request a pause while my siblings and I figured out some court issues. Last, he had me install fire alarms early in the process and after the sale concluded, he had me pay for them to get re-Installed bc he had made a mistake. He did apologize for the mistake, but I was grieving and the least he could have done was pay for that out of his pocket for being his mistake. I don't recommend him. I made a huge judgment call. He was not what he perceived to be. I want y'all to know all of this before you contract him, so this doesn't happen to you. If there was a zero star for yelp, that's what I rate him. read more

will take incorrect photos when asked he correct them multiple times did not correct them. also not communicative or informative about the sale process, was completely in the dark as regards to what all was required which even created legal issues for me. also after the sale will completely ignore your texts or calls.... read more

I've had the pleasure working with Joseph Trujillo. He provided the necessary guidance every step of the way. His local knowledge of the market has helped me seal the deal quickly in a high demand, seller's market. His recommendations for home inspection, mortgage officer, etc have also been spot on. All in all, there's not enough words to express my gratitude, but my wife and I are super appreciative that Joseph has helped us found our first beautiful home. His experience and calm demeanor have also made the process fairly stress-free. I highly recommend working with him! read more

Joseph was the embodiment of professionalism and customer service for our home selling and buying experience. He and his team were able to properly assess the market conditions to know exactly the price point we wanted to reach and used his resources to get us above market for our house. He and his team worked well with our needs as well as our buyers and their realtor to come to a quick and suitable agreement with fair stipulations. The purchase of our home afterward was just as smooth as Joseph easily showed us the properties we desired while suggesting a few pointers and homes we found attractive. Their knowledge of the area and process is heads and shoulders above their peers in the industry. This is my second time working with Joseph and I can't wait to recommend him to my friends, colleagues, and family for their needs. read more

So it is with my humble pleasure to write a review for my realtor Mr. Joseph Trujillo. Mr. Trujillo was a timely and energetic realtor who literally walked me through step by step for the whole house buying process. I am a single young woman and I honestly did not know anything about buying a house or Escrow, or those that fight for you and those that just want a sell period. Mr. Trujillo is a realtor who will fight for you every single step of the way, he always answered all my phone calls, even when he was on the plane and I called him a lot lol. Mr. Trujillo treated me like I was one of his daughters calling their dad for advice on everything lol. I felt so comfortable to put my trust in him. He fought hard for me to achieve the home my son and I are in now. Even when I became unsure about what to do, and was no longer sure about anything, he encouraged me. He also did not push me into anything I could not afford, he kept my budget in mind always. I would not have a home without his assistance. read more
