Previous grooming trips to other groomers were not always positive. She used to go happily but now fights to be left. Something happened somewhere (not here) and we're always watching to make sure she has a positive experience. Judy made us feel comfortable from the very beginning, talking through our concerns and providing advice and guidance. The day of her grooming Judy again listened to our wishes and we left feeling positive and hoping for the best. Picking up our little fur ball a few hours later, she not only looked great, but seemed happy and comfortable. Knowing from past experience that time would tell, we brought her home and observed. She ate and drank, she played and seemed totally comfortable and at ease. She didn't scratch or bother any areas from her grooming, so it seemed the grooming was done very well. During the initial meeting Steve met my dog, took the time to discuss my concerns with her aggression, and explained his training practices. We decided to go with his unlimited onsite training. Since hiring Steve, we've worked with him at our house once a week. Steve has worked great with us & our dog and has been super flexible with scheduling around us. We've been able to combat some of my dog's aggression and I believe that with more of Steve's training we'll have the perfect dog in no time. Floss herself was so kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring I followed her recommendation to have them shaved into the lion cut without hesitation. It was a great decision! When I got them home I could immediately tell how much more comfortable they were. They once again we're running around and jumping on their kitty condo which they had stopped doing. I realized that was because they were so uncomfortable with the mats pulling at their skin. Atlas and Apollo are much happier and I will definitely be taking them for regular grooming's with Floss.

I had my doubts that they would be able to get everything done, even with him being on anxiety medication. They quoted me 3-4 hours. In about 2 and a half hours, I received a text that he was already done. They said he did great and Teddy was in hood spirits afterward. The course and teaching of agility was VERY repetitive and boring, my poodle was over it and wanted something new, so did other dogs. I felt like the dogs needed a good exercise and run first and then maybe this course next. The course seemed mindless and quite dull for these dogs in her class. I was hoping for a more stimulating class for my poodle. I tried to set her up for a better class to keep her active but the times that are offered are HORRIBLE at this place and the classes are not stimulating or offer enough enrichment for my smart and active poodle.
