Took Red today to Floss' Grooming. He's never been to a groomer. We bath him and clip nails but with the ice snow, he needed the claws for grip. They were too long for me. My dog's first appointment here went great and few months ago. Yesterday he came home from his second appointment exhibiting behavior I've never seen from him. He was was shaking and constantly nervous & afraid the remainder of the day, even snapping at me which he's NEVER done. The groomer he had was not the same person from his 1st visit, and she did say he bit her hand. I honestly believe they did something to him that left him traumatized. I have been coming here for over a year, appointment times are not really appointment times. I make different times to get my dog in and out like they suggest, but it still takes 3-4 or more hours to do my 6 lb dog, even after you schedule a time. Most of the time my dog is in a crate for hours as they overbook. Even after expressing my concern and others have as well, nothing changes. Do not waste your time. After paying $90 for a miniature poodle and getting different groomers and haircuts each time, its a definite never coming back. Owners clearly doesn't care. read more

Went here based off of the reviews. At first it seemed an ok place to go to. The last appointment I had for my senior dog was terrible. His feet and genital area were still over grown. He came home smelling like he was not even bath. When I reached out to the groomers they checked his records from that day and offered to do 20% off and have him come in to be fixed. I told them he is a senior dog and hates being groomed and I am not putting him through the stress and will fix the problems my self. She could give no reason to why my dogs cut was only partially done. My dog does not bit but can squirm. So there was no reason for the lack of grooming. She said she would do a grooming for free but I will never take him back there. She should have given me a refund. If your dog has any issues with skin that you would hope an experienced groomer would notice definitely do not go here. They also charged extra for one of my dogs based off her breed which they don't seem to do anything different then my other dogs. They just shave them and stick a bow on them and think it looks good. My vet recommended Floss's Grooming because my yorkiepoo, Eli, had terrible greasy fur and skin. She did the bubble treatment on him and it helped. It was worth the 30 minute drive to have him looking so handsome. Floss and her team were the only groomers who gave him the perfect cut. I now bring my new furbaby, Flynn. Flynn does not have the skin issues that Eli had, but I trusted Floss and her staff to give him the perfect cut as well. He is definitely not the best behaved when getting groomed, but Floss and her staff have great patience and have him looking beautiful. I don't mind paying extra because he is difficult. If i could have left no stars i would have. Their website says walk in services available for nail trimming. So i went in one day to try with my small dog. Wanted to give a local business some business. Went in up to the counter holding my dog. Two women were at the tables with dogs, she looked right at me so i said hi how are you. And she promptly turned around and ignored me. I was really shocked, a simple I'll be there in a minute would have been a proper response. Then went on to chat with her co worker not even working on the dog on her table. I waited a few more minutes and no one could be bothered. I turned around and left, shocked and mad. Took a foster dog with behavioral issues in to see floss today. I was so worried that he would hurt her. He'd tried to bite her a few times but she assured me it would be fine so I left him with her. Can't recommend this place enough. We used to go to a place in Glendora where the hours were strange and terrible and the customer service was rough. So a few years ago we needed somewhere new and found Floss'. We have always had exceptional experiences and our dogs look wonderful. Our cockapoo is 14 years old and we are always nervous with him, but here they go the extra mile to make sure he is comfortable. We came to pick them up and they had him outside to go potty. My first visit yesterday and I've found my new groomer. I was crushed that my former groomer who I loved, stopped grooming and I was forced to find a new one. I went to Floss on a referral and hands down, it was the BEST grooming my dog has ever had from head to paw. I had no idea a groomer could do an even better job than my former groomer, but their attention to detail (around the paws, and blending the top of my dog's head towards his ears and neck went beyond my expectations). My dog is a mini labradoodle and has lots of hair and curls and in the past, has come back sometimes looking like a pure poodle which he's not.
