I emailed them, asking how they would handle our dog who can be a bit anxious. They responded quickly and set him up with an appointment time when it was quiet in the salon. I felt at ease with their responses and how they were so accommodating to make sure he had a great first visit. The salon is clean and the staff are so friendly! I knew my dog was in good hands. The price was affordable when compared to what we normally paid at PetSmart but included much more! His package included a trim, nail grinding and brushing his teeth. They're always running specials too. Plus it was quick service! It took an hour when compared to the past we usually had to wait over 3-4 hours to get him back. Our dog did wonderful and the staff were so great to him. Definitely taking my dog back here! Highly recommend this for your dog's grooming needs!

I have had my animals seen there for over 10 years. Both my animals received care that was below my expectations. One surgery they promised a 2 inch incision, she was cut from the top of her shoulder to her underbelly. She looked like Frankenstein.the same pup had chronic ear infections ( all the time). Medication just for that was close to $500 each time I left there and went to an animal hospital in Philly within 2 weeks it was done. Outrageous. Unfortunately after all this I lost both of my girl. 14 yo and 15yo I vacillated if I should write this but it still haunts me how we were treated. Whenever I get fur babies I certainly won't go back.

He lost weight and they thought maybe it was a mass or infection. After she left, my normal hamster couldn't walk or breathe after the exam . They wound up putting him on oxygen and he died ten minutes later . I am not blaming them for his death but they definitely contributed. Working in the medical field as a nurse for 20 years he prob aspirated or maybe the tumor perforated when pressed (there was blood coming out his private areas). I do think it was the deep pressing . I know you have to do that to examine him but I think if I never brought him there , yea he may have passed in a few months peacefully in his home from a tumor - not traumatically after an exam. That morning he was running in his cage, eating , etc - they say this couldn't been avoided . Yea it could - if you didn't press so hard on my hamsters he would be alive. It happened immediately after he was examined. Now I'm devastated I blame myself for bringing him there. He prob would have passed at home in a few months, but peacefully with me. I won't ever go there again. She was nice but not that empathetic, I got him cremated and got charged 400 to leave without my hamster. Least they could do is pay for that. I'm sorry they def contributed to his death. I never write reviews I never complain, but when I feel something is a miss I have to say something esp with my medical knowledge. My poor Humphrey.

They were wonderful. Dr. Cobb got back to email questions-- and I wasn't even a client, not at that point. So anyone complaining about not getting a call back-- did you check the number you were calling? Whenever I've called Ace of Spays over the last 2 months, if I left a message, I got a call back. The only time the phone rang without anyone picking up was this past Friday when I was dropping off my cat for a neuter; I had a quick question, but I was in the parking lot, so I just went inside, figuring worst case scenario I could drive the 3 minutes back home to get the paperwork I had forgotten. First, I want to note how amazing everyone on staff that I had contact with has been-- both before bringing my kitty for his surgery and since. As I said, I first contacted them about advice for a female cat I had rescued. I was trying to find her a longer-term rescue. I had taken her in during the cold snap we had at the beginning of December. I was hitting brick walls wherever I turned; no organizations within 100 miles of where I live would help. And when the cat started to go into heat, with an intact male in the house awaiting his neuter appointment, that wasn't a good mix. I needed help, and Ace of Spays put me in touch with a rescue that actually helped. They gave me a list of different organizations that I could reach out to, but stressed one in particular, which wound up being the group that helped get the cat the care she needed. Second, Ace of Spays offers the highest quality care. Don't let the lower costs scare you away. Several years ago I had another pet neutered at a different vet. I received little to no instructions beyond the appointment time. No options for pain meds. Not even instructions on whether or not kitty should be confined after his surgery. Nothing. So I was pretty surprised to see the detailed instructions on what to know before the surgery, what to know after the surgery, and about pain meds as an option when I made my current kitty's appointment. I was actually upset, thinking about it, especially since the other vet charged just a few dollars shy of $500 for the exact same surgery which Ace of Spays charged, with 3-days of pain meds, only $185. With the other vet, I was told more than half the cost went to anesthesia. With Ace of Spays, my cat got the same kind of care, but I think with their specialization in spay and neuter, they have more expertise than a regular vet. Also, with the pain meds were a liquid (meant to be given orally), they gave me pre-measured syringes. So there was no guesswork about how to get a pill into a cat who refuses pills (even in the little pill pocket thingies or rolled into a churu treat). And everything was easy to schedule online, easy to pay the deposit, and easy to pay the balance. And, if I had questions-- they were either a phonecall or an email away. Highly recommend. They do good work, necessary work and are literally life savers.

But the 2nd time, I had to wait until payday to order another bag, and there was plenty of time to get the food to me before I ran out. I ended up running out and had NOTHING to feed my dog for several days. I had to give him plain crackers and potatoes just to tie him over, and he was starving. Worst of all, I couldn't explain WHY I wasn't feeding him enough, and he thought he was being punished for something. Not only that, but they completely ignored me when I contacted them about taking so long to send it. Customer service, indeed. (Shaking my head.)
