Excellent experience with staff during drop off, pickup, and communication. I feel my dog was well cared for and my dog's smile says it all. She had a blast at doggie daycare and I appreciate the ease of dropping her off and letting them handle the rest. The staff is very tentative and ready to put you at ease. These winter months are hard to get enough exercise in, so I recommend the doggy daycare for any active dog. They do offer multi-package discounts so that's nice. During boarding sessions, I love that they provide the food so I don't need to remember to bring food and everything. They get to play with the daycare doggies during the day and then sleep soundly in their rooms at night. The living quarters are very nice and they do offer different sizes for your dog's preference. I'm very happy with our stay and would highly recommend them. They do require an extra flu vaccine for your dog but that puts me at ease really, so that wasn't a problem: just something to make sure you have before going in. They offer a trial session for doggy daycare to make sure your dog is a good fit and I highly recommend using them for either daycare or for boarding. If your dog is a little nervous around other dogs, they do offer private play with a staff so no worries if they are not dog friendly, they just need to be 100% people friendly. Woof woof! read more

Bentley came back to visit K9 in September 2024 and stayed over for 4 days. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, he was jumping all over with excitement. Cleanest doggie daycare and boarding facility in the Cherry Hill area! The staff that work there are friendly and caring. Bentley can be anxious and shy at times. My dog is new to daycare and boarding. After an evaluation, we had the option to board him with private play sessions for 15 days. When I dropped him off for the very first time, I felt so relieved because I knew he would have fun and be well cared for and safe during his stay there. Bentley came back to us, happy, smelling nice, and looking healthy. Once we got him home, we could tell he wanted us to take him back to the Ritz. Lol Overall, I would highly recommend K9 Resorts to anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable boarding experience for their furry friend. My dog never seems upset to be taken there for boarding. The staff is so kind and pleasant and the fact they always remember his likes and dislikes is a plus. The facility is clean and inviting. My only request is some way we could see what's going on with cameras. Frankie loves going to daycare & that makes this busy working pet owner/parent happy. Unfortunately, there's been an incredible amount of turnover in staff in the last two years. & most recently I've heard about ten people left. I'm discouraged that leadership/owners are not communicating with Pet owners/clientele and not addressing that THEY may be the issue for losing great employees. I'm very comfortable leaving my dog under the care of staff at K9 Resort. My dog is always very happy when I pick her up.

At the end of 2018 I saw an article in the Courier Post about K-9 Luxury Resorts coming to Cherry Hill. So when they had their grand opening, I had to check it out. The place was AMAZING. Everything was beautiful and top of the line. I've been waiting for an occasion to send my two pups there. This past weekend, they finally had their first stay. Making a reservation was quick and easily done- the front desk helped me to make sure I had all the correct paperwork in order and eased any worries I might have. Drop off was simple and quick. My dogs stayed two nights in a Luxury Suite, which is an 8x8 room they had to themselves. This stay was priced per a dog- but over night fees are reduced to 50% for the second dog. Food was included, and the staff was happy to provide medicine to my older dog for $2 a night. The daycare and open play is part of the overnight stay. But when my one dog was uncomfortable and overly anxious they accommodated her and switched her to private play. After 2 nights at K-9 resorts, dogs are required to have a bath added to their stay. So when I picked them both up- they were soft and clean! My dogs will be back soon. read more

This one was tough. The place has a beautiful reception area and friendly staff. We brought our mastiff mix here for an evaluation to determine if he was a fit for regular daycare about once per week, so he could run and play with friends while my husband and I worked. We were challenged by a few things that just seemed a little off. Please keep in mind that we are new to this process, as it's our first time utilizing a service of this kind, so the below may be standard operating procedure...though to us, seemed a little off center. - while the lobby area is stunning - marble floors, big iron front door, incredibly clean, etc...there isn't an option to watch the dogs in the play area via webcam. It seems that no expense was spared on the first impression that the dog owners are meant to have when dropping off their pets, but why no (comparatively inexpensive) webcam viewing option? - the number of dogs taken in for daycare seemed very high to me. When our dog was dropped off, there were about 15 dogs in their care. When picking up about 6 hours later, there were 60. Just mixing that number of individual dog personalities alone seems risky? - Our dog did fine with the smaller group of 15 or so, but became very "hyper" when the crowd became much larger (about 60), and so he was removed from the group and situated in a private room until I came to pick him up later in the afternoon. The decision to separate him makes total sense to me - protecting his safety as well as the other dogs - though I wish that the team there was more proactive in contacting us to let us know he had been separated from the group. Since he was only there for an evaluation (the recommended time to leave him there was at least 4-6 hours) and he ended up being separated from the larger group relatively early on in that window, I could have come to pick him up much earlier as opposed to leaving him in a room alone for 4 hours. Overall, the facility was beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly and informative. Ultimately though, it was not a good fit for us and our dog. read more

This is the first time I used k9 resorts boarding services and found them extremely commercial. I booked executive boarding for my dog, which I was told is around 70$. I checked in my dog at around 2:30pm on Friday and checked out at 12:42pm Saturday(less than 22hrs) and got charged 123$ total!! I later checked the invoice and noticed they silently charged me 35$ fee(without warning) for "late checkout" because I was supposedly TWELVE minutes late!!! Also, when I dropped him off, I asked if I could see his room, they said No. I asked if they could send me any pictures of him in their care and they asked me to go check in Facebook where they "sometimes" post(which of course is for their own advertisement and not real concern of keeping owners posted). I kept checking Facebook almost every few hours, but they never posted. I will keep looking for different boarding for my pup but NEVER taking him back to K9 resorts again. read more

Our dog went in for the 4 hour evaluation and when they called they did he could stay the rest of the day. It happened to be his birthday so they gave him a special treat. He went back the next day and pretty much went right n. I liked how they have 2 people at the front desk so your dog doesn't have to wait for them to call back to come and get your dog. You go in and they immediately take your dog back while the other person checks you in. My only negative comment would be the price. read more

I left my Lucy in the care of the K9 Luxury Resorts team for a week earlier this month. For the first time in many years of boarding her, I actually picked up a happy dog! She was freshly bathed, too - which saved me a ton of time and energy on the back end of hours of international travel. The space is aesthetically very beautiful, immaculately clean and smells fantastic. Unlike other boarding facilities, it's also very, very quiet - which was extremely comforting for me as I have a sensitive, anxious dog who becomes extremely stressed whenever I have to leave her. The staff is friendly and from my interactions seem very organized, attentive and well-trained on appropriate dog handling. The pricing is competitive when compared to other facilities in the area - but I actually feel that I got much more value. And it was worth every penny to bring home a dog that wasn't consumed by stress from being away. This is a 5-star facility, but I am going to take a point away for a couple of things.. (1) Unlike other facilities, there is no early /late drop-off or pick-up. This can make things tricky if you're trying to coordinate your pet's stay with your own travel/ flight arrangements (2) Also unlike other facilities, 'house' food is free of charge, but bringing your own comes at a cost. I don't think it's worth upsetting a dog's normal dietary routine for even a couple of days away, especially when that stay likely comes with some stress. I happily paid the fees, but just thought it was worth noting. (3) Cancellation policy - losing a 50% deposit to a resort credit regardless of when or why you cancel is a bit stiff. It's a shame that this policy isn't more accommodating. Overall, it was a relief to pick up such a happy dog after a week away. I was really impressed by K9 Resorts. I can't imagine leaving her anywhere else and won't go back to relying on any other facility. read more

This is the third time my dogs have stayed here. The first two times I was pretty happy. This time however, I'm not so pleased. I understand that the dogs are to be bathe upon departure. My French Bulldog had a thick layer of crust in the creases his eyes. Not only are they red but swollen along this area. I asked the worker to please cleanse the facial folds at least once a day with his facial wipes. This obviously was never done. I understand that they might be short staffed but this was somewhat unacceptable. read more

The experience I had with the hotel wasn't the best for the amount money I had to pay for my dog. Initially I was going to use it for only 2 nights ended up to use it for 4 nights. My 1st reservation I was quoted correctly when I added the 2 extra nights I was quoted 2 different prices by 2 different people. Once I arrive to the location they quickly the dog away again unknowing if what I paid for my dog received it. On there website they state they upload pictures of the dog upon calling the place they stated they only upload pictures to Facebook only. The four nights my dog stay not one picture was upload. Again if they would allow you or even offer to take a tour of location would a huge help for newly parents of a puppy that we are leaving there. During our vacation we called 3 times 1st lady who help just stated he fine nothing else afterwards. 2nd time we call again different lady stated the same and we ask for his pictures she stated they will upload them soon. 3rd time we called there was a gentleman who answered and answered us all the questions inform us why we don't see any pictures. Finally upon picking my dog up they stated they took him a bath in which they did since he was still wet they did not dry him up. They gave us a sheet what to expect after our dog get home. Everything they said it happened he got the k9 flu for a couple days in which it suck but it what was expected. My whole experience coming from the hotel industry suck with them I don't see the value what I paid for I could had took him to petsmart hotel paid alot less and still got the same experience. I'm disappointed they are highly rated but I don't see why they are when they don't give the best experience. read more
