    Our furbaby!

Bentley came back to visit K9 in September 2024 and stayed over for 4 days. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, he was jumping all over with excitement. He could not wait to get out of the vehicle and go in. We are so happy we found a second home for Bentley. He loves K9, the staff, and so do we. Thank you to you all for always taking good care of him! This review below was written 4 months ago in May of 2024. Outstanding! K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel is a fantastic place for our Bentley! Cleanest doggie daycare and boarding facility in the Cherry Hill area! The staff that work there are friendly and caring. Bentley can be anxious and shy at times. My dog is new to daycare and boarding. After an evaluation, we had the option to board him with private play sessions for 15 days. When I dropped him off for the very first time, I felt so relieved because I knew he would have fun and be well cared for and safe during his stay there. Bentley came back to us, happy, smelling nice, and looking healthy. Once we got him home, we could tell he wanted us to take him back to the Ritz. Lol Overall, I would highly recommend K9 Resorts to anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable boarding experience for their furry friend. The staff truly care about the well-being of the animals in their care, and it shows in the quality of their services. Thank you, K9 Resorts, for giving my dog such a great time! We will be back!

Daisy loves to play at daycare at K9 resortswith all her dog friends playing inside and outside gets really excited when driving there

    Reagan just loves the staff!

Reagan just LOVES his human and dog friends at K9 Resorts - and so do I! I am a stage 5 clinger helicopter dog mom and I can confidently drop my boy off there for a full 10 hour day at daycare without worrying about him at all. The staff is incredible and they go out of their way to make Reagan feel special.

Frankie loves going to daycare & that makes this busy working pet owner/parent happy. Unfortunately, there's been an incredible amount of turnover in staff in the last two years. & most recently I've heard about ten people left. I'm discouraged that leadership/owners are not communicating with Pet owners/clientele and not addressing that THEY may be the issue for losing great employees. I'm sad (as is Frankie) to no longer see familiar faces that I trust including Aspen, Brian, & Jen. Thank goodness for Kyrie & Brandy. Fingers crossed they stick around!

Kobe after his vacation! Can tell he had a blast just from how exhausted he is! Facility is beautiful, staff is super friendly. We were weary to leave Kobe after having a dog bite him at the dog park a month ago. We just got Kobe back and he is so happy, without a scratch& exhausted. K9 Resorts is the only facility we will bring Kobe to. We are very very happy with their services!

    Camp Bow Wow

I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at Camp Bow Wow in Cherry…read moreHill, NJ. As a dog owner, I was expecting a fun and safe environment for my pup to socialize and get some exercise. Unfortunately, my expectations were shattered. We scheduled and were accepted for an interview which our fur baby met expectations. The staff was friendly and professional. When I dropped off my dog, I was greeted with enthusiasm. The staff seemed very interested in caring for my dog's needs. I was then advised that I needed to pay for a two-day stay at a discounted rate before they would agree to accept her for boarding. No problem, I did that with much excitement because we believed we had found a wonderful place for our baby. On the first day of her stay, I was informed by the owner that our baby got into a scuffle with another dog but that it was ok. She then advised me of their three strikes and you're out policy. Our baby came home that day tired and a little unlike herself, but we assumed it was because she played so much and had a fun day. The second day, I received a call that our baby had attacked a sleeping dog, and it was captured on video. I was then advised we would discuss her ability to be boarded once I picked her up that day. I was in disbelief because that didn't even sound like our baby, but there was video proof, so it must be accurate. I mean, the owner of a reputable establishment would not lie. Well, in my opinion, that is exactly what she did. I arrived with my 10-year-old daughter to pick up our baby and was eager to see the video. We witnessed a dog who was not asleep as led to believe and our dog being startled and therefore defending herself by barking and then attempting to fight back after being sprayed with a water hose. We were then informed in a sheepish and unprofessional manner that this facility would not be able to board our dog as previously agreed upon. The reason we were given was that our dog starred at a geriatric dog (the sleeping dog she allegedly attacked) in a suspicious way and that because our rescue dog was not with us for at least three months they could not board her. Now, in full disclosure, I wanted to write this review because I was very upset that I felt that Camp Bow Wow, wasted my time and just wanted me to pay for a two-day stay. I find that I was upset because they did not diligently review our intake paperwork, wasted my time, and scammed me for a two-day stay. If they do not board rescue dogs who haven't been with their owners for less than three months, why was our baby interviewed in the first place as this appears to go against Camp Bow Wow's policy? I clearly stated on the intake paperwork that we had only had her since March. After this stressful day, I was now faced with finding another facility to house our baby because we were going out of town for my graduation. I eventually did find a wonderful place and could not be happier with how they are caring for our baby, more about them in another post!!! I would not recommend Camp Bow Wow in Cherry Hill to anyone. The facility has too many dogs which is ripe for aggression. This experience has taught me that my dog needs fewer dogs, a more loving environment, and an attentive staff who understands that while dogs are our family members they are still dogs. I appreciate having a negative experience with Camp Bow Wow because it allowed me to see what my dog needed. It allowed me to find her home away from home. I have found such a place, again more about that in a post to follow. I hope my review helps.

My dog Chewy loves coming here! We're still new (2weeks!) so can't give quite the perfect 5 stars…read moreyet as I've only tried the doggy daycare services.. but so far so good! We just moved to New Jersey from Hawaii and we had loved our previous doggy daycare! So of course i want what's best for my fur baby! He's the kind of dog that has lots of energy and just constantly wants to play. With both me and my husband working, and plus the Jersey weathers where we can't always fulfill his needs.. this was is the perfect place for him! He gets to socialize, run around and play with other dogs all day! And we travel a lot so they also take care of boarding him too. Plus the services such as baths and nail trims etc are a plus. Be prepared to go through a little doggy interview first which takes about 3 hours. Within this time, you can tour the facility and ask any questions you have. They put together a folder too for you to take with. Then your fur baby goes through the interview process where they just introduce him/her to a dog, then another dog and then a few more dogs to introduce them slowly to see how they interact. How they interact with and without toys just to see if they will tolerate being in a group. I wasn't worried because he used to go to a previous doggy daycare before. But it's just standard procedure and for the safety of the dogs. A big plus for the interview, is your doggy can take full advantage of the daycare for free that first day! You can view your dogs through their cameras through either their website or through their app. So it's very convenient. Only thing I miss is when compared to the last doggy daycare we went too.. they had more obstacles and things to play with to keep them busy. But my dog has always come back tired.. so I'm not really complaining haha! So far so good and all the staff has been really nice! Will continue bringing Chewy!

I am from Pittsburgh and was traveling to Cherry Hill, NJ for an event and our dog could not stay…read morewith us in our hotel. I scrambled to find boarding in Pittsburgh and nothing was available. I decided to look at options in the NJ/Philadelphia area. I have never boarded my pup before and was very nervous about it, for multiple reasons. 1) I don't think it's ever easy for anyone to leave their fur baby, 2) our pitbull is leash reactive and barks at other dogs on a leash- we are actively getting him training, but it's something he is still working on. I was nervous to take him to a boarding place in fear that they wouldn't be understanding with my dog. I heavily researched boarding options in NJ/Philly and found Lakeside. I inquired on their website about the dates I needed boarding and heard back quickly that those dates were available. I gave them a call and they were SO kind and answered all of my questions and expressed an understanding about my pup and his behavior- they said something along the lines of "we are very used to barking dogs- it's not something we are worried about at all", which made me feel relieved. Our pup, Axel, doesn't bark at dogs unless they are on a leash, but I was still worried. We had to leave a deposit in order to reserve our stay, which was no problem. Dropping him off was a breeze. I just called and let them know I was here and we took him to the drop-off/pick-up area. I gave them Axel's prepacked food, his blanket, and some toys. They encouraged us to give them a call whenever we wanted to check-in on him and they let us know they would post on Facebook the next day with some photos. Keep in mind... this was my first time dropping off my pup at a boarding place. So I was nervous. I called MULTIPLE times, and they NEVER made me feel bad about calling and always took the time to go check on him and give me the most up-to-date information on how he was doing. This eased my mind so much. I love that this kennel offers the pup their own outdoor spot, in addition to their indoor space. I also love that they offer one-on-one time with staff for an additional charge. Axel is a rescue dog and he spent a lot of time in a kennel situation in the past- so I wanted to make sure he got some one-on-one lovin' and attention. I was able to schedule Axel to get 3 walks with staff over the weekend, which I am sure he loved. Picking him up was a breeze and Axel clearly had relaxed a lot since his initial arrival- he was jumping all over the staff, giving them kisses- he clearly loved them :) The prices here are SUPER reasonable. It was under $100 for two nights and multiple walks. I am so glad we went with Lakeside :) If I find myself needing boarding in NJ again, I know exactly where I will go!

Staff is friendly and patient, facility and grounds always are clean and they're open 7 days a week. Even when we move further away, we will keep going to Lakeside for our boarding needs.
