I hate needles, with a passion, so it was a major event just to get to the facility and not cancel. I can now say that there was nothing to be afraid of. It was not painful, especially compared to the way others have gently massaged my pressure points causing me to think I might pass out from the pain. My PP's are pretty bad. I went to the Care Now on University in Prosper 12/4, with a horrible cough and had lost my voice…read more They were nice, but doctor gave me the wrong type of medication. They said my chest was highly congested with ton of mucus and prescribed me 2 medications. They didn't work and cough continued to increase and I started having sounds gurgling from my chest...so I called back the next day... sent in a new prescription... didn't work and gurgling and heavy/painful coughing continued and I lost my voice more. 3 days later I Went on Ask A Doc through my insurance.. the doctor said that they gave me prescriptions that had Dextromethorphan and that doesn't help clear out my lungs, but instead hold it in and mask the cough a bit. The AAN doctor prescribed me 2 new medications WITHOUT Dextromethorphan, and almost immediately my coughs were more productive and I felt so much better. I think that if they had given me medication that helped my coughs be more productive instead of masking it, I would have been feeling better several days ago!

I paid a $50 co-pay which was fine. I saw the doctor had two x-rays done and that was the end of it. Dr told me that it would take time to heal my shoulder, but nothing was broken and nothing was sprained. My complaint is that two weeks after my visit, without authorization, they charge me $180 out of my bank account. When I called, I was told that the claim was not processed at all by the receptionist. It's been 3 1/2 weeks since I called to see what the problem was and why the money was taken out of my account. I was told today that I probably won't get the entire $180 and she can't tell me why. They took the money without authorization and they took the money because the young lady did not process the claim. At this time I was told to wait three more weeks because it was "in process". Just know that this place was not very efficient and for somebody that's on a fixed income, $180 is a lot. I go someplace else if I were you. I also see that there are other negative reviews for this facility
