I met with her 3 times and each time had to explain why I was pursuing DBT therapy. I went through my borderline issues that were exceptionally relevant to DBT. She kept asking me why I was pursuing DBT in each session. Each time I answered saying we talked about x, y, and z. Each time she asked me to reexplain these. She acted like she never heard them before. She was either not interested in me or truly can't remember from week to week. She likewise, told me on 3 occasions that she reached out to my Psychologist and that they "haven't been able to sync up their calendars yet." This was a flat out lie. I discovered this when I spoke directly to my Psychologist and asked her about Trish Beach. My psychologist confirmed that she has never been contacted by Trish Beach. My psychologist was finally sent a consent form after my last session with Trish Beach. Trish still didn't reach out. My psychologist had to reach out to Trish to have a conversation. Stay away from Trish Beach LPC. She can't remember prior discussions, seemed genuinely disinterested in me from the first meeting, and flat out lied to me 3 times. You can do better with just about any other therapist.

Tricia was my therapist for over 3 years and a teacher in the DBT skills group I attended. She got me to confide with her and gave me steps to help me, but then in a state of crisis I was in....dropped me in a cold and mean manner (told me that she no longer wanted to be my psychologist) I paid out of pocket somewhere close to $15,000 or more dollars seeing her and then she drops me after 3 years. Please know, that the only way to have sessions with her is virtually, which is another hindrance. PLEASE save yourself by not wasting your time with her and find someone who is more skilled and loyal as a psychologist!
