We simply asked to briefly clarify this obvious miscommunication with the therapist. Instead of helping, the front desk staff became rude and confrontational, accused us of being "disrespectful" to another patient, and refused to let us speak with the therapist. We had no intention of interrupting anyone--we were simply trying to clarify what we had just been told during my consultation. This is especially unacceptable for a pelvic floor clinic serving postpartum women, who may already be physically and emotionally vulnerable or experiencing postpartum depression. Compassion, patience, and respectful communication should be the bare minimum. If you are postpartum and looking for a supportive environment where you can focus on your recovery and well-being, I strongly recommend staying away from this place. No one seeking postpartum care should leave feeling worse than when they walked in.

Trying to find someone that can test adults and take's insurance is ridiculously hard. im still in shock I managed to find someone. So on one hand if you're an adult that needs to be tested for autism. I think this is your best-case scenario. based on the limited resources out there for adults. Unfortunately, she took my medical PTSD symptoms for something they were not and gave me an incorrect diagnosis that could have caused tremendous harm to me medically and did cause harm emotionally. Thankfully, I was able to get a professional to help get it corrected because I wouldn't have been successful on my own. The treatment suggestions she gives. are also One size fit all, copy and paste, and not tailored to each patient. so I would take them with a grain of salt. For instance, she told me to do vigorous exercise when I can't even shower without the risk of fainting. So obviously My disability's where not taken into account with her recommendations. If you're needing a diagnosis though. this is probably your place. just make sure to address any issues on the report after if they are not helpful. The more people point it out to her the better chance we have of her evolving in a positive direction. I don't regret going to her I just wish she had been more receptive to my input.
