Very unprofessional and disrespectful experience at Help Car Tire Shop. I returned because a tire they previously worked on had lug nuts tightened so excessively that AAA couldn't remove it. When I explained this to the manager, Giovanni, he was immediately rude, dismissive, and argumentative. When I asked the cost to put on a spare tire ($20), I briefly checked my purse for cash. Before I could respond, he walked away, then later accused me of trying to get free service and began yelling at me. He made an offensive comment saying, "You people always want something for free," and also told me I "didn't look like I had money." This was completely inappropriate and felt discriminatory. When I returned to get his name, he told me "F*** you" and then pretended not to speak English. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

DISHONEST BUSINESS! Photos included. This a shop was open outside of business hours, and I was in dire need of help. I was desperate having got my gear stuck in park 75 miles from home with no budging for over an hour. AAA offered towing to a 5 mile radius and it was 3.8 miles from where I got stranded. The owner/manager Jovani(stay away from this man!) did not review any quotes with me when he accepted the tow, I thought he would look at it then give me suggestions. He said it was already too late for the day, took my name and phone number on a note pad and my keys and asked me to call in the AM. After our interactions, he told me there too many issues with my very old car. Oil change $60 - no discussions on the type of oil etc After I called, he quotes $600 (cash only) first thing, no breakdown of parts or labor. Additional $60 for oil change - $660, He seemed annoyed "lady that's the price" Always get a quote please! Re: cost of parts or the name of parts I need "I don't know until I call them" " I cannot get it until Tuesday," " I cannot tell you the name in English." Or, I could come get it and pay him $120 for diagnostics. Whether the parts cost $50 or $500 really helps me to plan because this car is older. In any case no breakdown on labor, except to say that it will take 2 business days including the weekend. He did make sure to ask me for again $120 ( in cash only). I did not want to argue I just needed to be able to go back to work. I had no choice and I was wrong for not asking beforehand. The worst part was he BROKE the gear box ( no wonder he wanted me to pay for the entire thing, instead of the lever which was the only issue I towed the car for). He did not admit to it, held out his hand and with a straight face took my money for no service rendered! I only round out as I was cleaning the mess he left me. The entire front passenger seat was smeared in ketchup and what I now know to be Elmer's glue. He broke the frame around the gear, and attempted to reset it using using water based Elmer's glue. This man did not admit to a single thing and collected $120, from me with a straight face. It is so frustratingly sad that you can operate a business like this and sustain it. I asked for a receipt of payment, and on closer inspection, he made a receipt with my name, the amount I paid, for a totally unrelated care! P.S. I do not drive a 2004 Honda with 188k miles. We were from out of town and had tire damage from road debris late Saturday afternoon. No tire stores were willing to stay to assist us as it was close to closing time. As headding there at 8ish in the morning on my spare tire now somewhat flat (the spare got a flat smh) hit a pothole and literally pop it. Now my spare got a flat. Driving for 5 minutes on 10 mph, had to change back to the flat tire and drive 5 mph for another few minutes just to get to here. That was the most horrible and excruciating sound I've ever heard from my car. I think the whole neighborhood heard it too. I told them (Giovanni) that I may need a new tire and a spare tire for my spare. I was laughing as i said it out loud. The spare tire is a special order that will cost $100 to $150 for a 2015 Yaris, which I don't mind. I just wanted done. Less than an hour, my one tire and spare are fix for $100. The first time I brought my car here was a mistake , the second time I brought my car here was a disaster. He cracked my rim then tried to act like he didn't know what was going on. It also happened to my aunts suv and she confronted him. Then he let me know that they fixed rims for 500 plus dollars. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I return back to his shop and let him know that the tire he gave me was also a used tire that was bad. He wouldn't exchange it or refund it, all he had to say was there was no insurance on his used tires. He said I should have brought it back sooner, but how could I when it never worked on my car. We even brought the tire back the next next day , just for them to give us all information. They break things on peoples cares and try to help fix it so they can get more money. This tire shop is dishonest, they're all about the money and they don't care about their customer's safety. I would like to give 0 star but there's no option for that. There's no customer service whatsoever. I called in and asked for a " run flat tire" the owner said that he had just one used for $100, so I went there to have a tire replaced, remember this is a RUN FLAT TIRE so I can drive even if there's no air in the tire, when I got there he asked his employee to replace it but he didn't even check the tire that he was selling me, which he should, so the guy removed my tire from the wheel than few minutes later he told the owner the the tire that he as selling me had I big hole in it, so then put my tire back but in way that I couldn't drive any more the tire was falling off the wheel and he even said that I could drive that way, then he charged me to put my spare tire on my car, I told him that when I got there as able to drive that he should had checked the tire that he was selling first, that I was going to pay but it wasn't my fault, and he got aggressive and didn't even want to pay attention to me. The point he is not just about the money is about poor business practice. Because he returned me a car that wasn't safe to driver anymore, he didn't care, and he also put to other customers ahead of me before finishing my car. I don't recommend this business because how can a business owner return a car to a customer with a tire falling of the wheel saying that is safe to driver and didn't even offer to replace with a spare, I had to ask he to put the spare, and he didn't even recognized his mistake " bad business practice. read more

I wish there was a way to give negative stars! If you are a woman and a single woman, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They will mess your car up intentionally just to get you to come back and spend more money! My cousin too her vehicle here, trusting these people with a simple check because she was hearing a noise on the front side of her car when she turned and her AWD light kept coming on. My cousin trusted these people and kept taking her car to them for the same issue over six times! She felt since they started the work and she had already spent so much money that they were going to fix it! Low and behold her car was supposed to be fixed after the 7th time and she was on the freeway her car broke down on her! At this point we all advised her to take it to another shop. Come to find out Help Car was using incorrect used parts! Had she not taken her vehicle to another shop when it broke down, she would have been needing to put a whole new Tranny in her vehicle! Her car is a 2011 Nissan SUV with less than 50k miles on it!
