I've also not been too impressed with their tagliere (meat and cheese) appetizer. Because their beer selection is pretty good and they have a huge menu though, we decided to give them a 2nd chance. I ordered a pizza this time around and enjoyed it! We've been back several times since and now that I stick with the pizzas (any of their pies with buffala are great!), I never go wrong. Because they have such a big menu, it's a good spot to take visitors as there's literally something for everyone -- vegetarians, meat eaters, Italian food lovers, German food lovers... They even have a couple dishes with basmati rice and curry sauce. What puts Kofler over the top for me is the fact they have Franziskaner Hefeweizen, my favorite beer, on draft all the time!

SL was a tiny place, but thankfully mostly empty; we plopped ourselves down and ordered some cold beers (pilsner for me, it being a hot afternoon). They had a decent beer list here - several standard styles from the British isles. I noted they also had some locally made brews (I didn't try them) plus Guinness (a necessity for such a place). The vibe wasn't very Irish beyond the decor and dark interior. The bartender was playing some euro pop on the sound system. Snacks were offered - mostly bread rolls, small sandwiches, and cuts off some oblong pizzas. We sampled a few of the latter to go with our beers. (They were OK.) As for the volleyball, the USA got spanked. Thankfully no celebration from the other side; most of the other patrons were either Americans or Brits. And the Italian bartender didn't seem to care. It's not clear why so many previous patrons have awarded a full 5 stars for SL. (Vacation glee?) For us it met a basic need but was priced high for tourists. I'll give them three stars, plus one extra for offering the game.

Played nothing but American music while we were here. Mostly 90s grunge and classic rock. Right up my alley! They have a full bar and can make pretty much anything you want. The taps are flowing with authentic Italian beers! Overall, I had fun and would recommend it.

The vegan patties were RAW!!!!! Like very much so raw and pink!!! I have had numerous of vegan burgers so I know what is cooked raw & thrown on the bun. We ordered around 5:30pm and they opened at 6:30pm which gave them enough time to prepare the food. My husband ordered a beef burger he said it was OK. But the vegan option is pure disgusting and I WOULD never eat from there again. If you want a vegan option order magnolia blues their burgers are fully cooked and even warm by the time you receive which is only a 10 minute walk tbecause we all know for the people who first arrive who do not have vehicles we have to walk to the chapel gate to receive our order from burgerbam. I had so much hopes from this place by the reviews but NEVER WILL I EVER!!!!!! *UPDATE I was told they would ONLY give me a giftcard of 20 euros to come back to their establishment. My hubby and I were at the Christmas market with are youngest when we spotted a booth for Bamburger. We'd heard they had good burgers and all decided we'd give them a shot. They took our reservation for 7 and we proceeded to walk around enjoying the cold, fresh air until our dinner time. The shop is tucked just around the corner and off one of the main walking streets in Vicenza. The atmosphere was a cross between a Sonic and Five Guys with reservations needed on the weekend. :) I ordered the traditional Bamburger and was not disappointed. It was great. Artisan style bun and handmade beef pattie were great. My husband tried one of their specialty burgers and thought it was alright, but upon tasting mine he said he would definitely get mine if we come again. It's always nice to find something a little different in the area!
