I wish I would've known it's reservation only. Or at least that's how I interpreted (might have been bc it was Valentine's Day or on a Friday) who knows! But the guy at the front said he'd be able to only seat us for an hour, so from 7pm-8pm which I was fine with because I was starving and wanted food ASAP. Nice trendy ambience, most spoke English. Took a minute to come and take our order but once they did the drinks and food came out fairly fast. My husband had the beer and he said it was really good! We both had burgers (he completely finished his). I ordered their cheeseburger medium rare and it was mostly just rare on the inside but grilled a thin layer on the outside. According to my friends, the burgers were great. Only one didn't care for the pickled sauce that was on hers. I tried a chicken dish with some slaw on the side and I would go back just for the slaw salad. They had quite a few choices for beer and some craft beers. The ones we tried were great. I had the Duchesse. My only issue was at the end of the night we couldn't pay as couples. It is normal in Italy to be able to pay at the register and just list what you ate. So, this was a little uncomforatable for our group to figure out and in the end one person paid and we worked out the bill later. read more

So I was stationed in Italy and I was looking for a good burger. Coming from the US there's nothing like a good beer and a burger. So after many failed attempts I came across this place from a coworker. I am glad he told me about this place. When I seen the big lopsided burger I knew then that it wasn't some factory made burger that was all made by a hand and boy oh boy just to see the grease dripping off the buns I knew this place was doing it right. One of my favorite spots thus far in Vicenza. If you want a good hamburger with a nice cold beer than this is your spot. Ive been three times in the past few months and I'm never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Besides the hamburger being so awesome the atmosphere is really cool. Its a tucked away restaurant along the outside of downtown Vicenza. It has a modern industrial look and kind of small. And an array of beers on draft! A great place for a date or evening with your friends. Awesome price for the big portions you get. If you've been to drunken duck it is very similar, it may be a chain, but the atmosphere is completely different (nothing against drunking duck, they're great too). They don't start serving food till about 7:30 (call and verify that) but they serve drinks an hour or 30mins before they open. Its also best to call and make a reservation especially if you have a bit of people. Usually two people can find a place at the bar but this place gets packed, so either go super early or make that reservation. read more
