I booked this company to come fix my parents' smart television. They gave us a 9-11 a.m. window when the technician would arrive, so i took off work to wait for the tech. At 10:35, the company cancelled saying that the tech was unavailable. I tried to reschedule, but decided that it was too risky to take off work again given their last minute cancellation. The company then charged me a $50 cancellation fee. So they cancelled during the scheduled service window, and then they charged me a cancellation fee. I tried to contest it, but the company just kept passing me from one department to another, finally saying that it was handled by their billing department, which does not have a telephone number so I couldn't talk to them. I honestly think this company is a scam. Or something close to it. read more

Joselito showed up for the appointment (to install a Ring video doorbell) on time (Actually early) and was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Also, he was wearing a mask, which made me feel safe. I was asked about placement of the device and did not feel rushed at all while trying to make the decision. After the installation was complete, he helped me set up my device in the Ring app as well as explained how to connect it to my Echo Show. I will definitely contact your company next time I need a tech guy to help install and connect new devices. Hopefully I will be able to request Joselito, since he did such a great job today. There is not one thing I would change about my experience with this company. I found them online when trying to figure out who would install my ring doorbell on the masonry. From their website, I was able to choose a number of time slots I'd be available for an installation. I was contacted via text right away and had the installer here the same day. Think carefully before you call this company. On August 25,2021 Xfinity/Comcast came to my home to repair a poor cable/streaming connection in my bedroom. The technician was here for over 45 minutes and claimed that the problem was with the original wiring inside the wall. He recommended I contact Hello Tech. I called the company and was told that they could set up an appointment but that I had to give them a credit card to put on file. I asked why and they assured me that I would not be charged until the technician visited my home and completed the service call. That evening my TV service was restored and I proceeded to cancel the appointment with Hello Tech. I spoke to a live body and told them that my television was now working and that I would like to cancel the appointment. To my surprise when I received my bank statement I saw that Hello Tech proceeded to charge me $224. I immediately called my bank to let them know that it was not a real charge because no service was ever accomplished. Evidently Hello Tech responded to my bank with the statement: "We are a tech support marketplace matching providers and consumers. We charge customers once they elect to have service". This was unacceptable and a lie. Because of my reluctance in giving them a credit card number, they had assured me repeatedly that no charge will be made until the service call was completed, I attempted to call the company; I was strangely disconnected when they hear about my concerns. I also attempted to contact their partner Xfinity/Comcast but they were not interested in my problem with their third party vendor. You would think that Xfinity/Comcast which recently emailed customers a letter from the Office of Tom Karinshak, their Customer Service guru would be concerned about how a partner is conducting business. They did not care. Last year, my HOA made the decision to go with Xfinity/Comcast. I certainly will not be recommending them or their partner, Hello Tech moving forward. They know nothing about customer care. Be careful. It may be okay if you keep an appointment but remember that they will charge you even if you cancel. A most important lesson learned for me - do not give any company a credit card number until they complete the work. read more

The tech was very professional but not trained or qualified to mount a TV and sound bar on the wall. He was at my house for 5 1/2 hours and the TV nor the sound bar was mounting correctly. The TV was mount in the drywall and is falling off the wall. Sound bar fell off the wall soon after he left. Multiple holes in the wall and the wall plates are not installed correctly. read more

Terrible, shoddy service. Tech never asked where/how mounts should be placed. Were placed uneven and crooked. Claimed his job was just to install the mounts and TV's but not to connect them and make sure the TV's and accessories (sound bar) were working. DO NOT USE!!!!! read more
