I scheduled an appointment with Hello-Tech. They sent me an email, canceling the appointment and to reschedule. They again canceled the second appointment, rescheduling for the 3rd appointment. I grew weary and canceled the 3 rd appointmen. Hello-Tech still wants to charge me $50.00 for canceling my appointment. this is not proper after they canceled twice. Rip offs! read more

I requested ethernet run from the box in the basement to a second floor bedroom. The technician arrived and said he could not do it, so I requested a refund (as I paid for the service well in advance of the appointment). A gentleman in customer service offered to send out another technician instead, to which I agreed. Roughly 24 hours later, they cancelled the new appointment and gave me a refund, less the cancelation fee. -__- read more

I had an appointment scheduled for Hello Tech to hook an HDMI cable from the TV to the cable box. The TV is high up and I can't do it myself. The hole in the wall was already there. The tech called me and said I needed to increase my order because I needed an electrician. I called the home office to change the order but they told me he was wrong and the appointment time would be the same.. I took off from work for the appointment. The tech did not show up. No email no phone call. I still had his phone number in my phone so I called and he said he "released the order" because I had not called to change it. I think these are independent contractors and this guy thought $72 was not worth his time to come. He literally had to poke the cable, not the power cord, just the cable through an existing hole in the wall. But I was totally willing to pay the extra $50 just to get this off my plate and I tried to do that. He cancelled the appointment. No phone call. No email. Find someone else - don't use these people. read more
