    So the service never lived up to the 'as advertised' 100mbps, to begin with. The equipment…read moreapparently was leased not owned and therefore needed to be returned in 2023 when we moved. As far as I can recall, I'm pretty certain it was taken to the office personally but they apparently never checked it in appropriately. For that I was charged $277 dollars for not returning their obsolete outdated equipment we used since 2012. Fast Forward 14 months later not a word from them until recently a collection agency has been relentless in calling to get their $277 dollars. I closed out the bill in April 2023 and it wasn't until this month 2024 that they decided to send me to a collection agency that is sure to ruin my great credit (800's). What a fantastic joke of a company to operate like this! Beware people! Companies like this aren't concerned with keeping a happy customer or even providing a good service. They just want your money and will destroy you with retaliatory fine print debt collections!!!

There's only 2 registers (customer service provider) open. They obviously take for ever maybe they are taking their sweet time .     Buyer BEWARE! My wife had an ADT system put in our home due to me working on the road. I have now…read moreretired, and we no longer need this service. When she called to cancel, she was answering many questions, told it was just part of the process, which was fine. In the end, the representative said "OK, that will be $3000 to close the account!!! WHAT!?! So basically, we are forced to keep this POS system until April 2029. What a rip off and scam. So please, make sure the "nice" person visiting your house to make you safe, explains to you the 5 YEAR CONTRACT!! Oh, well.....live and learn. Again, our stupidity, but please, BUYER BEWARE!!

She was recovering from surgery at the time so ADT was given my email address and phone number to contact. Installation went fine and following it being completed we asked that my contact information be replaced with that of our daughter. We have now been attempting for FOUR YEARS to have this completed. She calls ADT Customer Service constantly and is of course is told that it has been taken care of, which it NEVER is. Just last week I received a barrage of emails advising me that her alarm system needed a new battery. I have received calls that their alarm was sounding. Again, she has made the request every time to change the contact information and again she was advised it was taken care of. I just received a call on MY cell phone from ADT. It was the ADT "virtual" service tech calling to assist my son-in-law with a change that needed to be made to the keypad. I explained to the tech all that has gone on and that he would need to contact my daughter; I gave him her cell phone number and repeated it to him. He said he would call them. Rather than do that, they received a message that the appointment was cancelled and they were advised to make a new appointment. There is a wait time of 45 minutes to do so. My husband and I have been ADT customers for FIFTY-ONE years. That ends NOW. WHAT IF THERE WAS AN EMERGENCY???? ADT used to be the only game in town but it no longer is so we do not have to tolerate such shoddy customer service.
