I have been getting my lashes done by Evelyn for over 2 years now and I would follow her anywhere she would go.

I hadn't seen Claudia in awhile because of my job as a math teacher. After dealing with the death of a student, I wanted to finally get my eyebrows done. I do not recommend her or the other lady. After making a complaint with the other woman's work, things seem to have gone downhill.

Claudia checks all of boxes: 1…read more Brows are her baby 1st and foremost: I mean, you could go to a nail shop who also will wax your brows but do they really know brows? Claudia at Immaculate Brows knows brows! 2. Claudia is a real artist and doesn't rely on a stencil: This one is huge. I have been to brow people who put a stencil on your brows and try to make your brows "fit" into this one size fits all stencil then they proceed to tell me about how my brows don't really work but if I buy these products and fill them in to match the stencil then they will look good. Claudia is not like this at all. She sees how your individual brows grow(yes there are 2 brows and they are close sisters but not identical), chats with you about your brow goals and will work with your personal growth patterns to shape and groom them so they can look good both with or without makeup. 3. Online scheduling for appointments: Because don't we all just randomly remember to schedule our brow appointments while laying in bed at 6am or 10pm or is that just me!? :-) 4. Appointments are on time: I never have to wait past my appointment time and if I ever do, it's less than 5 minutes, which is basically nothing. With that being said... your appointment duration is your appointment duration. If you show up 15 minutes late to your 30 minute appointment then you have to understand you are gonna get whatever can be done in that remaining 15 minutes. It's not a punishment, it's just reality because Claudia is respectful of all of her clients time and her next clients shouldn't have to wait or have their appointments rushed because someone else was late. 5. Great quality wax and waxing technique: I guess my skin is sensitive because lots of waxes make my skin break out. I have not broken out once since seeing Claudia. 6. She is super cool and kinda has the best playlist in the shop!

    Lashes By Denise - Microblading

I was really skeptical about microblading but went ahead and gave it a try after seeing the…read morepromotion Denise was offering and talking with her about what she could do to help my thin and shapeless brows. When I went in for my appt, the process was rather quick, from using the stencil to get the shape, to the actual microblading until finished. Only took 45 minutes. It was very painful but she claimed she didn't like to use numbing cream because it can affect the color. Since I had no experience before, I went with it. Now that I've spoken with tons of other women, they were shocked that's how I got mine done. Sadly, there was a lot of bleeding and over the course of the two weeks my brows were supposed to heal, the color completely finished and my brows were red. I told her what happened, and she said to come back in and we would do them again. I was hesitant but again really wanted them done so I went again. This time, she offered the cream but it still didn't help. The color lasted slightly longer this time, with a couple "hairlike" marks staying towards the nose but were rather thick and smudgy looking. After letting them heal for quite awhile, they were still red and scarred looking and the color or "hairs" did not stay. This was over 6 months ago now and I have had the worst time with breakouts and irritations right in the exact area. I have so much redness and scarring STILL. I told her what happened and how I felt about it and that I wouldn't be back despite her offering to keep doing it until it worked. That shouldn't have to happen. And I never heard back from her. Even though it was a "deal" I'm so bummed that I was left with worse brows that I had before and spent money that I could have applied to a better artist with more experience who took the time to do it correctly. The technique used on mine was harsh and very fast, not slow and steady and fine tuned to make each individual hair. It was really scratchy and quick. Would love to get my money back after this experience. But who knows.

I have a lash lady that I always go to but she does a very volumized look and this time I just…read morewanted something more "natural" compared to before so I came to Denise asking for a more "natural" style, showed her a pic of what I wanted (see photos) she said she has a good understanding of what I wanted so I let her do her thing. I first lay down on her bed, she kept saying I was so tiny and to keep scooting up towards her and in the beginning the "pillow" where you lay your head didn't move or adjust so I just laid in a very uncomfortable position(which is fine, not everyone's set up and bed is the same) During application, I felt her pushing the lash down to my eyelid & immediately thought to myself I don't think she's suppose to be glueing the lash to the skin of my eyelid.. maybe it's just the first one. she continued to do it for EVERY single one she'd rest her hand on my forehead &would hold the lash down while it pokes my eyelid for a good 5-7 seconds each then she would scramble to reach for other stuff& I would hear snippets of her cutting diff things.I could feel the cold liquid glue on the skin of my lid! I wanted to say something.. but I don't want to come off rude! While waiting for her to take about 30-40 seconds all together to get one lash on (includes time scrambling and glueing) I'm trying to hold my position for her but it started really cramping my neck. Another 20 mins pass by, my neck really started cramping and she did tried to readjust me so I could be more comfortable but turns out the thing below my neck wasn't really a pillow I'm not sure what it was but she offered me a towel to put under my neck but still she wanted me to lift my chin up a whole lot and my neck was cramping especially now it's been well over an hour! Fast forward, she asked me to take a look at my lashes and by now it's been 1 1/2 hours long she said they look "good" but if I want more volume she can do more.. I thought to myself she's already got glue on my skin, lash looks bad, it hasn't been a relaxing process lashes poking my eyelid and my neck is cramping id rather not! I politely told her it's okay, thanked her, left her $150 for a full set and left. Oh boy I left very unhappy with how it turned out. THe amount of time spent improperly putting each lash on and for 1 1/2 hr this is all she could do.. she's not efficient. Not only that but because it's stuck to my skin when I look up the lashes go in diff direction! I understand it's not the "full" look because I ended it right at the 1 1/2 hour mark but there was no excuse for the glue to be on the skin!As soon as I walked t my car, i was calling around professional eyelash studio to see if I can come in to have them remove my lashes same day because it looks bad & its irritating my eyes. I was able to get in Amazing lash studio and the lash tech was shocked the lashes are glued to my skin & there's no way she can put the remover on my eyelids.. she said they are only suppose to be on my lash,I think she said a few cm or mm(I forgot) away from the skin! She told me I should've said something & shouldn't had paid for it and that I was too nice! They told me I will have to wait until the lash grows and glue to detach from the skin and come in and she will take it off for me. I was so upset.. I'm going to have to deal with this for who knows how many more days when I had just spent $150 And total of 1 1/2 hrs commute back and forth to this terrible place! I then texted Denise telling her what happened along with pictures and she denies putting glue on my skin and blames it on my "short thin lashes broken from previous and removal" and "sliding up and down".I have Asian lashes they're short & straight & not "broken", especially not from previous because I had my lashes on for a good 3 weeks and removed them professionally at a lash studio few days prior to this appt. i was not "sliding" down and moving while she was applying lashes. I held out and as soon as she was not applying lashes I made movements to readjust myself as gently while she's scrambling because my neck was cramping, but NEVER was I "sliding" down as she was APPLYING lashes.I adjustd myself 3 times during the 1 1/2 hour and shed stop a few sec so I can adjust. Also, even with pictures she hits me with her 12 yr experience and because she has a big clientele she didn't apply the lashes to my skin. She Refuses partial refund and offer to take off lashes but why would I come back tosomeone that glued lashes to my skin and if offering to take them off while they're still glued to my eyelids??? I wouldn't had even asked for a refund if I could've taken off my lash the same day elsewhere. But it was so badly done to the extent I have to deal with the uncomfort until the glue detached from my eyes that is where I made a point to reach out. But she want to keep all the money for her bad work. SAVE your money and go elsewhere!! **Even at 3 weeks my old lashes looked better than this! Look at pics!
