Booked with JT for a refill and paid $75 upfront. my lash tech spoke no English but was helped by owner in translating when I had questions. Tech pulled and yanked lashes so hard that I am missing natural lashes now. I said "ow!" several times and finally said "enough!" and got up, removed tape and asked to see certificate/licenses. Owner could not show me proof. I was not offered a refund and my lashes are now sparse from being pulled out. Awful experience that I paid for. Check licenses! Save your lashes. read more

When I got my lashes done the first time, she was very clear and made sure to explain everything she was doing. This is my 3rd time getting my lashes done by Jeanne! Horrible full set of lashes received in May of 2023. Thick clumpy glue everywhere, lashes stuck together and painfully twisted. Almost all my natural lashes fell out. Had to get a removal and new set elsewhere. Horrible!! read more

Amazing experience! She got my meager stubby eyelashes exactly how I want them. I was able to choose the thickness, length and style I wanted. They look natural and beautiful. My coworkers commented that I looked great, but couldn't pinpoint the difference. Which is EXACTLY what I wanted. To look good, to look better but not have it look obvious that I have eyelash extensions. She is quick, efficient and the lashes last forever. One of the hardest parts about moving is having to find a new beauty team. I had hoped JT Lash Studio would be my new lash extension spot. I called in advance to ask about pricing and whether they had the type (size and curl) of extensions that my previous aesthetician used. They assured me they had the correct type. The day of the appointment, Natalie and I discussed the volume and shape I wanted and again, the size and curl (the same as I previously confirmed over the phone). Then I was on the day bed for over 2 hours which is significantly long for a fill. She removed all the previous extensions and added a different type which was not at all what we had discussed. You need to trust the lash tech as your eyes are closed and you cannot oversee the process. Unfortunately, she damaged my natural lashes! It was painful. I have never had pain before in all the years I've been getting lash extensions. I am extremely adverse to leaving negative reviews but this experience was so horrific that I must forewarn others. read more

I wish I could say something great about this place. Sadly, they are very inconsiderate and rude. Twice I booked a morning appt. The fist appt they were 15 mins late. The second one I had a 9am and they were a complete NO SHOW! I called and texted after 10 mins of waiting and nothing. Over an hour later...nothing. No apologies or calls. I love the style Jeanne achieves as it is exactly the gorgeous, natural, feathery look I seek. The customer service is great and the vibe here is very welcoming and personable. I'm so glad I switched to JT because Jeanne made me realize how much better the experience could be. The space is lovely and inviting. When Jeanne starts on your lashes she makes sure you are comfortable. She gives you a pillow for under your knees and a blanket if you want to be extra cozy. When Jeanne does the lash application she is very gentle; sometimes I can barely feel her working. I never thought I'd be able to fall asleep but I have definitely drifted off. I would recommend Jeanne to anyone interested in lash extensions. Her pricing is very fair--she only charges me for a re-fill even if she has to remove a lot of old lashes due to growth. I got my lashes done 1 week ago at a different lash place. I noticed that after about 3 days my eyelashes were almost completely gone on one side. I came in here because the reviews are so great and I was not disappointed! JT did my lashes and she explained that the lash extensions had pretty much all gone and ash she brushed though them with her spoolie they really just came out. She spent time doing my lashes and what really stood out was her attention to detail. She made sure to get every single lash perfect and took the time to brush though them and replaced any lashes that came out. I couldn't even brush though the previous extensions. I went to JT lash studio for the first time yesterday 5/15/18. I am new to Laguna Beach and was struggling to find a new lash studio. This place is AMAZING. They have a really neat set up with comfy beds and warm fuzzy blankets and soothing music. Pretty much they set you up for nap time ;) When you arrive you sign in and JT shows you an iPad with the different lash options which means when you're all done you get what you expected! I was searching for a lash studio that does long full lashes that actually stay on and I thought I found it. I've been happy with my lashes but there's a catch. The owner Jeanne is a good lash artist but her policy about coming in exactly two weeks for a fill is bs or she wants to charge you an extra $50 dollars if you come in for a fill at 2 1/2 weeks or 3 weeks. Says she's has to "work harder". She's only doing an hour fill and feels she should charge you more. I've been getting my lashes done for many years and have never heard of such a ridiculous policy. She's obviously just trying to make as much money as possible off you which is unfair and a ripoff in my opinion. Sadly I will not be returning because I don't appreciate being manipulated. Better change your policy Jeanne or I guarantee you that you will lose more customers. Also I came at 2 1/2 weeks for a fill not 3 weeks and I still had plenty of lashes. She's worked on me for 1 hour and wanted to charge 50 more. This is an obvious tactic to make twice the amount of money in a month than she would otherwise so basically you are forced to come every two weeks whether you need it or not to avoid being charged an extra $50. Bottom line is Jeanne you are lashing for 1 hour. End of story read more
