HG recently moved from Marlton Crmissing to Route 73 - Marlton - definitely downgraded for financial reasons. No longer a warm, separate establishment, but in a Miscellaneous Building with other salons under one roof - no water pressure, no more amenities, I.e. coffee, small snacks, privacy, and a warm feeling. Definitely downgraded but I just paid over $200 for partial highlights and hairstyle - bringing my own hair products as well. They will be losing msny customers - sad to say - as it's not the same quality since their move - nothing against the stylists -,they are still great - but not their new residence. read more

This was my first time at this Marlton location. Great first impression! Beautiful salon upon entry, plus ample, friendly staff. I was a walk-in & only had a 15 minute wait for a brow wax. Lauren took care of me and gave a perfect wax. So far, no irritation, which is a rarity for me with my sensitive skin. They carry some unique jewelry and other beauty products. In fact, I got my friend a sweet open red rhinestone heart pin for her upcoming birthday. There were complimentary soft pretzel bites & small water bottles. Nice! I got a haircut from Bekha in Marlton, and unfortunately I didn't see that the right side was much longer than the left side before I left the salon. it wasn't until my neighbor told me how crooked my hair was! When my family saw me, they immediately said I looked lopsided! Ugh! so I called the salon for a repair and was really disappointed that they would not make time to fix my hair! This was a $60 haircut that took about 10 minutes to cut and the salon said that i had to wait for 2 days to get a repair. After I was very upset, they called and the manager could squeeze me in at 6:45 before they closed! Who's available at 6:45 for a haircut!?? So I have to wait now for 2 days to get a repair! Terrible!!!! Just Terrible!!!!! Never again. Very bad customer service! read more

They were able to accommodate me same-day for a wash, cut, and blowdry. I was taken immediately upon arrival, and Diana was friendly and professional. She didn't try to push products/color/highlights or up-sell, which I really appreciated. The hair turned out just as I wanted it! I also got my eyebrows waxed, and the lady who did that followed my direction to a t (just shaped, not thinned) and somehow prevented redness and pain afterwards (rare for my sensitive skin). I've gone to HG for years but had only been to other locations. This location is more convenient for me, and I'm grateful that the service and results are as high quality as I expected. read more

I really don't understand the point of an online booking with notes when they don't read them. I made an hour long "cut and style" appointment for my daughter and specifically said in the notes that we just wanted a trim but mainly wanted her hair curled for a dance. I purposely selected an hour appointment for this. When we met with the stylist she said she wouldn't have time to do any sort of curls and that it takes 30 minutes to cut and 30 to blow dry. Not only was she done in 45 minutes, she didn't even attempt to curl in the time she had left, or even apologize to my daughter. Never ever returning here again. They need to read notes and if they can't accommodate, call the customer and explain why and offer to book a different appointment for longer. read more

It's gross here. Hair all over the floor. Even at the entrance. The black towels are stained with bleach. Ripped chairs and hair color stained on the arm rests if chairs. Someone should sweep up the hair. There were plenty of people hanging around the front desk when we arrived that could have done so. Instead of going off to do each other's brow waxing. Hair dresser is nice. But not didn't talk to my daughter. Talking to other stylists about getting her tonsils removed. Is it to difficult to ask when she starts school or what grade she is going into? read more

Yesterday was my first time at this salon, and I am very satisfied! I am a usual customer of Bernard's Salon in Marlton (by usual I mean once every 9-12 months when I get a haircut) but decided to try something new this time. I loved that just my haircut (with shampoo/conditioner) was only $28. It's approximately $38 for a blow dry, but I opted out of that this time. Although I liked that I was given an option of whether I wanted to be dried or not. The place itself seemed clean to me, and the hairdresser I had was very friendly. I came around 5 pm and it wasn't too packed which I was happy about. For a standard haircut, I was happy with my experience. I never get my hair colored at salons or extensions or anything, so I can't speak for that. I like to go to Bernard's for my drastic hair cuts, but Hello Gorgeous will be my go to for trims and small cuts for sure! read more

ABSOLUTELY love this place! Today was my first time at this place and I cannot rave enough about it! My hair stylist was Allison. I will never go to any other salon or person ever again. My hair was really long and damaged from bleaching it so I wanted to get a cut for the new year. It was time for a change. The staff was so accommodating and friendly! They were professional and at the same time were light-hearted and knew how to have fun! I love environments like that where it's not extremely serious because that really intimidates guests. I am always hesitant trying new hair stylists because of the fear of my hair looking terrible afterwards. I can honestly say that I am 100% happy with my cut. Bonnie made the scheduling super easy and was able to work with our day of timeline. We all had our make-up done by Elizabeth who did a fabulous job! I've been to this location for feather hair extensions when they were huge last summer and for a pedicure. I don't think I will be returning here for anything again. The haircuts and up do's I've seen walking out of this place makes me not want to ever have anyone there touch my hair. The pedicure was just okay. Came here for a color correction as well as a hair cut. The last salon i went to completely murdered my hair. I saw Danielle. She did a fantastic job and was very professional. The place was clean and everyone was nice. I left feeling like a million bucks. I took 1 star off because I paid by credit card and could not leave the tip on the card. She does the blonde look better than a major salon that specializes in blonde hair in Southern California!! She also gave me an awesome haircut that actually makes my hair look longer, definitely what I asked for, so amazing, she is talented and her colleagues looked like they did a great job on their clients the day I went in mid-February 2018. Yes, it is a bit pricey, and the wait can be a little long, but I think it is worth it (took me 5 years to find this blonde specialist after my one stylist moved away while I was in college)! If I could give this salon negative stars I would.I went here, because my normal stylist called out and I was leaving for a trip the next day. I figured this was a good time to try this salon for my relaxer treatment.WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE THAT WAS!!! Charlene put in my relaxer and it looked great, but a few weeks later I noticed my hair was falling out in clumps.I went to two different hair stylist at two different salons and they both told me that she overlapped my hair which caused it to break off and that is why I had huge clumps of hair falling out.I couldn't believe it.I had to get most of my hair cut off.I even had a small bald spot. This review is of the Hello Gorgeous on route 73 in Marlton. I went for a color job after I had my hair lightened over the summer. I showed my stylist a few different pictures of possible colors I was interested and without discussion she mixed up a color and started applying it to my hair. I had no clue which picture she was even going off of. When it was completed my hair was much darker then I had wanted but I was hoping after I washed it a few times it would lighten. Unfortunately it really didn't lighten much and I called to have it redone. The first woman was very nice and scheduled me an appt. However, I got a call back later saying I waited too long and they would not pay for it to be redone and further that they wouldn't be able to lighten my hair anywhere where it had previously been lightened (which the stylist knew was everywhere!) They also told me that the stylist didn't have enough time to see me at my scheduled appointment time and I would need to be rescheduled. It just felt like they were annoyed that I wasn't happy with my hair and couldn't be bothered to help fix it. The manager should have been involved once it was obvious there was a problem. I will say my stylist was friendly but not showing me the color she chose is not okay! Not worth the money! read more
