This was the best salon experience I've ever received. I had an initial consultation with Rianna and we went over my hair history, my dream hair goal and the best process to reach that goal all the while keeping in mind my hairs health and my budget. Seriously, it was great and i hadn't even gotten my hair done yet! When I came back for my appointment, despite the ORANGE that would NOT leave my hair, Rianna kept me optimistic and explained every step to make sure I would not be disappointed if the orange decided to sit in my locks forever. What made the experience truly enjoyable was the conversation. I've sat in my share of salon chairs, and many MANY times, your hair stylist wont talk to you or connect with you and get to know you, much less explain the process going on above your head. Rianna and her super kind assistant Abby were beyond friendly, got personal and candid about their lives and made me feel like I was amongst friends, which I was desperately in need of. Best part of all, the orange was CANCELED! They turned my orange hair into beautiful ashy silver hair. I nearly cried tears of joy. Everyone working there was super sweet, helpful and they act like a big family. The whole atmosphere just screams inclusivity and love, what more could you ask for? In 30 years I've never left a negative hair review. Just moved back to this area. FYI they have a no refund policy. Regardless of whether or not the salon owner and I agree on the color when I left due to fluorescent lights and phone camera colors, what I asked for was never completed. Accusing your clients of fraudulent behavior and lying is not a good business practices. I've had a hard time finding the right hair stylist and I've found Katie C almost 10 years ago when she worked in another salon. Ive followed her to every salon she's ever worked at because I truly love the way she cuts and styles my hair - it's magicccc. I have thick wavy hair so it does take extra muscles to blow dry it but she never fails to take her time and give me 100% attention. She is currently at this cute salon and it's so fun to walk into. Love love love my stylist Dana. She's extremely knowledgeable and goes over everything with you in advance. She would even give you forewarning if certain things will take multiple sessions unlike most places where they would either fry your hair to get it to the color you want or just do whatever they please. She has done color corrections, regular color, vibrant color, tape in extensions (for my daughter), coloring of my halo extensions, cuts, blowdry, curl, and more on me. And each time, I fall in love all over again. I've gone from black, to caramel highlights, to blonde, to silver, then to red, then back to light color again. She knows exactly what to do to get all the stuff I want. Booking is extremely easy. I usually make my bookings after my appointment, but you can call and someone will always pick up or call you back within a reasonable time. I've never had to follow-up to make sure everything was booked correctly. Debating already what I will be doing next! :-) read more

My wife went to the parlour room to get her hair colored a light purple on the ends and then layered and thinned our. She had previously been getting it done in Washington but since we moved we had to find a new spot, and she had been told this place is great. Anyway, so she had went in to get a light purple on her ends, and the mass of her hair thinned and layered. Seems simple enough. Well when she left the chair her entire hair was black, with purple ends( keeping in mind her hair was blondish before hand). So that was a big issue. The quality of service she paid for, equaled the service she would have got from a Walmart hair dye kit, which is malarkey considering what she had paid, and it's not something that can be fixed really, it will take months before she can go back somewhere to get her hair color fixed. I would not recommend going here for hair coloring, unless your intentions are to get the entirety of your hair black. read more

I had been looking around the Mount Laurel/Marlton area for a good stylist for months with no luck. I then went to the Parlour Room and made an appointment with Brittany....she was a life saver!! She gave me highlights, a glaze, a conditioning treatment, and cut. It took a few hours and the results were incredible! I've been coming to this salon since last year and love it. My first time visiting I booked a keratin treatment, which was pretty expensive, in hopes it would fix a static problem. My stylist, Sam, didn't think that was the best option and recommended something much cheaper, in addition to a few products. I appreciated her honesty so much and haven't had static problem since. Not only did he pretty much fix an impossible mess up but he also did an incredible job and cut it in a way that it will grow in the way I want! I came in with shoulder length hair and asked for a TRIM. I left with a chin length bob. I am really not very particular about my hair, however, I asked for a TRIM and instead got four inches cut off. It was cut very choppy with no flow or movement. The cut was not even and I had to fix multiple pieces at home by myself. The salon looked cheap inside and not very clean. It's been a few months and my hair is still no where near the length it was before I came here. So disappointing. read more
