It has been frustrating working with the corporation that owns Pinehurst Apartments…read more. In my household, we paid rent and media fee two days early (the only two things showing that we owed), bringing our account down to zero. Two days later, they posted another (optional) fee to our account..and instead of applying my payment to what I actually paid for in the first place, they took a portion and applied it to my optional fee, leaving me a "balance" on my rent and media fee which was paid for in the first place. Now, they have charged an extra $115 "late fee" (on a $14.95 optional charge) because they chose where they wanted to apply my payment to instead of what was actually paid for. One of us left a review, and the customer care team responded and told us to email them because they would like to resolve the issue. However, after reaching out to customer care a couple of times, they have ignored the emails and have not responded at all. Again, not showing they really care. Another reason I'm leaving a one star is the walls and ceilings are not very sound-resistant. We here our upstairs neighbors and their dog constantly.

It brought great peace of mind knowing well-informed eyes were seeing and noting everything that I am not trained to see and know. His report came back quickly and is very well laid out and easy to read. he has provided a great road map of items for me to pay attention to and get repaired now or that are of potential concern and can be deferred. As I am from out of state and not knowing the local people and contractors I found Jon to be a wonderful contact in providing suggestions for multiple contractors to connect with. While he doesn't indorse one over another he provided a list of a few names of folks he has seen do good work in the past. This provided me a great deal of comfort as I embark on new and uncharted territories. Jon has been wonderful to work with and I HIGHLY recommend using him if you would like an honest, thorough, approachable, understanding and kind home inspector. He has far exceeded my expectations and has been present, available and supportive even after his initial job was completed and done. I had the very unfortunate event of having my main contractor die just as he was getting started on my project and Jon has checked in on me unprompted and offered additional connections to pursue. Background: I work in construction and a lot my time is spent finding flaws in the smallest of details, so many people might not see what I see. During my move in inspection, there were a lot of small details that were out of place, small paint splatters, small but highly unnoticeable damages to drywall. but for the price of the apartment it was expected and still a pleasant place to live. Neighbors are quiet and respectful and the services offered are great. The management has been responsive to our requests. Once again if you're gonna work with someone in the office, ask for Keri!

I am beyond frustrated with how The Calo handled their recent parking policy change. They changed…read morethe rules without adequate notice to tenants--I recieved no emails in my Gmail or my portal (I have talked to a few of my neighbors who also haven't been getting their emails), no signage on the doors I used (employees in the leasing office admitted that a lot of the first level doors didn't get them which are the ones I use), nothing visible or accessible enough to warn residents and their guests. As a result, my guest's car was towed --an expensive, stressful, and totally avoidable situation had proper communication been given. They post notices on our individual doors for inspections, why couldn't this have been done? There was zero effort to ensure residents were aware of this change. Management failed in their basic responsibility to inform and protect the people who live here and pay rent. If you plan to have visitors or value clear, respectful communication from your property management, I would seriously reconsider moving here. This kind of sneakiness is unacceptable.
