I was taking my husband to enjoy some of his favorite things for his birthday and relaxing and smoking a good cigar was one of those things. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and were shown the cigars in the front and the wide range of others in the Humidor. My husband selected a couple of them and had them cut and punched to his liking. We sat in the lounge area where we chatted with a great group of locals. This place is very welcoming no matter if it is your first visit or a regular you will feel right at home. read more

The greatest cigar lounge! The owner is a fantastic host. Only Davidoff lounge in the IE as far as I know. You will enjoy it!

The host always provides great service as soon as you walk in the door. The selections are always top notch and find what you are looking for in the lounge. We watched the March Madness game there and enjoyed some high value cigars! read more

I'm from out of town and always looking for a decent cigar lounge/ shop. Chaz was working and very helpful. The selection was decent for the size of the shop. Prices were reasonable for the area. they offer a military discount which is always appreciated. Nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy a stick. Place was clean and well kept. Great ventilation. They have soft drinks for purchase, coffee and water. I was here on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty slow. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back. read more

I stopped by after lunch with a friend to grab a few cigars to go. A good friend of mine recommended I check out Helios because of their selection. Mike was incredibly helpful and gave me some great recommendations based on the types of cigars I smoke. The selection here was fantastic: Fuente, Padron, Oliva, Caldwell, AJ Fernandez, Pepin and Tatuaje and so much more. The staff and folks there smoking were incredibly hospitable and as I was getting ready to take off I was suckered into staying to smoke and I'm glad I did. Everyone was great. I stayed and smoked the "951" house blend which I was told had about 3 years of age. Delicious cigar. I was also fortunate enough to get a couple of "La Vereda" by Crowned Heads which is super hard to find and a couple of nice Tatuaje cigars I haven't tried. Price point everything was at a great value, even the samplers were priced really well. I think you should check out Helios, you won't be disappointed! I will be back for sure! read more

Helios Lounge What makes a good Cigar Lounge? Is it service? Surroundings and amenities? Maybe it's uniqueness of cigars found only at that lounge! This lounge Is both a little pice of art and uniqueness. This lounge is perfectly located in a picturesque shopping plaza near restaurants and retailers. Tony, the warm and vibrant, bearded cigar lover greeted me as I walked in. We hit it off instantly chatting about cigars and art! My absolute 2 favs. The lounge itself is small (700sqft maybe), but packs a big creative punch. Where they lack in serving alcoholic beverages, they make up for in its amazing House Blend cigar selection. The lounge is open with a big family room feel, however there are 3 distinct sitting areas. As you enter, a sitting area is strategically placed by a huge picture window that lets you see the people walk by. There is a middle section near the beverage fridge that's a perfect spot to watch TV... and a small corner in the back for conversations and some privacy if you're on a date or don't want to be bothered. I was so delighted to meet some of the local patrons like Dwayne, a passionate thinker, Tony an art buff and former art teacher, and Shawn an up and coming cigar lounge owner! The bathrooms were clean, but the sign in the bathroom "gentleman's lounge" was a little off putting for me... loved the sensual artwork throughout but this spot definitely catered to the male audience. Thank you, guys for letting me chat with you about cigars, art and all the current events. It was a relaxing evening. read more

In town for my daughter's orientation at UC Riverside. Looked for a cigar lounge on Yelp and found Helios Cigar Lounge. Met Mike, Tony and Will. Excellent selection in their walk in humidor. Absolutely amazing! The staff is knowledgeable and it is just a vibe! I come here weekly!

In my younger days, I would frequent cigar bars much more often. Today I had to get a gift for some friends that I was going to see in a couple of hours. So, I used Yelp to find a cigar bar close by. This place was awesome! Nice strip mall location, so easy to find, and plenty of parking. Just follow your nose!! Upon entering, greeted by a very personable young man. He was advising another guest at the moment, so I went into the humidor....oh my, what a great selection. My friends are real connoisseurs, so I spent some time looking at the very expansive selections. Found the perfect gift....if I indulged as much today as my younger, golf playing, cigar smoking self, I'd be here a lot!! read more

I can give you my personal guarantee any of the gentlemen working the counter will provide you with progressional courtesy and assistance you with your cigar needs. The selection is premium family grown tabacco mostly. They remain with you in the humidor in case you may have questions regarding tabacco selection. However, they will also provide you enough privacy you can make your selections comfortably if you are novice. Great place altogether! I've been a returning customer for about three years now. Btw there are two separate lounge areas should you want to beat the heat and enjoy your stogie. read more

Great lounge! Headed over after my round of golf. On Sunday they have a few big screens for NFL viewing. The selection of the sticks are greatly priced are are of amazing quality as well as the guest that come by day to day the atmosphere I can only describe as tranquil, nice dark "AMAZING A/C TO GET OUT OF THE HEAT ON A NICE SUMMER DAY" with 3 tv's and phenomenal conversations. With a walk in humidor and the Davidoff selection this place is a win! If you're in Riverside and looking for a great smoke and a great time this is the place to be. I was craving a stick and decided to google cigar lounges. Helios reputation is indisputable, majority of customers who visit this place say great things. My experience was perfect, I entered and was quickly acknowledged by Chaz (I hope I got his name right). He explained a variety of cigars and helped me pick out two great sticks. This lounge is perfect and I will most definitely be back weekends to smoke. I just moved to Riverside and have been looking for a lounge to relax in and Helio you just gained a new loyal customer. Best lounge in the Inland Empire! Helpful employees, friendly customers that you can hang out with every week and the owner treats everyone like family. I can't say enough about this business. I've been living in Riverside my whole life. It's funny the things you miss in your own city because you just don't look because you think you know it all. Take my advice, if you are looking for something in your city, actually search for it!!!! I've been missing out on local cigar lounge for 3 years hahah!!! I try to generally give ratings based on what could they do better. The only reason Helios doesn't have a 5 star is because they do not have a bar. That is it, plain and simple. This place does everything right! It is in a good location, there is adequate ventilation, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. One thing I really like about Helios is that the sell tobacco for pipes!!! I got into pipe smoking about 2 years ago. So I will definitely be going there with my pipe. Helios has a really nice humidor that is packed! They have a really good selection of cigars, and they know right where things are if you only really know what you want to smoke, and don't have a brand in mind. Helios is also decorated very masculine with dark colors and leather seats and sofas. While they don't have a bar, they do have a cooler with non alcoholic drinks for sale. There is also a pool table, and 3 or 4 big screens. I highly recommend this place Until Next Time... read more

Chad, thank you for being inviting to cigars, with me being a newbie. Top notch customer service, and will definitely be back...

Dang, they did a bang up job with this place! Beautiful interior with big screen TV's, comfy leather couches and chairs, pool table and an awesome humidor! You can tell it's a high end type of place. This has got to be one of the nicest cigar lounges I have ever been to, I've been to several in OC. Really friendly owner, but not overly in your face friendly if you know what I mean? They have a really good inventory of "boutiquey" cigars like Falto and Tatuaje, which are pretty hard to find. This place is close to my work, I have a feeling I will be smoking a lot more cigars in 2014! read more
