I spoke up by saying that his behavior was very rude. He waved his hand at me and said it would only take a minute to instruct his employee. At the same time, I could hear the clerk murmuring that the man was his boss. To which I squealed, "That is even worse! Interrupting a customer, in the middle of a sales transaction, by talking over the customer, is bad customer relations!" The man gave us a disgusted look and vanished.
