I had a relative with me who told her I consumed energy drinks often which was irrelevant as to why I was even there. I was getting the scan for more insight on an my unexplained chronic urinary problems that I've had for about a decade. Whether I drink energy drinks or not, my symptoms stay the same. I am well aware this is not the best health decision anyone can make but Serene looked at me as if my relative told her I was doing hard drugs or drinking alcohol daily. The reason why I consume energy drinks often is because I suffer from nocturnia due to my ongoing urinary problems & I have a very demanding life being a single mom with endless responsibilities. I feel it is very easy for someone who doesn't have to deal with a certain problem on a daily basis to judge someone else who does. She then started to blame literally anything & everything on my results on the energy drinks including my nocturnia that is 100% caused by my urinary problems NOT anything of my lifestyle decisions. This isn't accurate, there are many factors that contribute to one's health. Mind you, she didn't even know what my health problem was at the beginning of our meeting but by the end she was acting as if she had all the answers & was one to speak on my issue but she was wrong about everything. It is important not to give misinformation in a setting regarding someone's health but she felt she knew everything. Ron of course carded my girlfriend, understandable and also protocol, but that's not what made his service very poor or why I'm writing this review. Turns out my girlfriend forgot her wallet at the house, no worries I'm also of age and just sent her inside because I did not feel like getting out of the car (I'm not wearing a bra and the original plan was to just pick up boba and a new vape where I did not need to leave to the car). So I told her it was okay, and I walked in with MY REAL ID out and handed it to Ron and told him I was purchasing the vape. He then proceeded to ask why my girlfriend came in underaged, and I told him she's not underage and that she's actually 22 just forgot to bring her wallet, but that I MYSELF was purchasing this vape. He then proceeded to make a comment why she'd come in wanting to purchase a vape AGAIN when I told him she's not buying I AM. He then double checked my id TWICE like it was a fake or something, when I have a verified CA REAL ID! this type of service was completely disrespectful and not needed, I would not recommend coming here ever and would much rather just take my hour commute back to my regular smoke shop in OC than commute the 20 minutes it took us to get here. almost walked out without buying anything from how poor his customer service was, but I had been needing a new one for 2 days. Again, we're not upset that he was doing his job in carding either of us because we understand it's the law, but what made us very upset and uncomfortable was the commentary he added and accusing my girlfriend of trying to buy a vape under age when she's not (he doesn't know that obviously because he had no id to prove her age) and then looking at me weirdly and second guessing my real id when I was the one that provided an id with my dob and paid for the vape with my own credit card. It's annoying having to get out of the car when I wasn't planning on it, but I did anyways so I can get what I needed but could've used without his rude commentary. Never coming back again!
